Four Seasons Hotel Montreal: what do users think?

Catherine Miles: It's the excellent, down-to-earth attention and care that one receives that makes the hotel so special. Yes it's spotless; yes it's comfortable and chic and everything smells good, and even my belongings still smelled ever so slightly like the hotel when I got home; yes it's wonderfully located and Marcus is delicious and, well, it's the Four Seasons, but it stands out because of the warm and personal welcome from each and every employee. And they all seem really happy to be there. There is no superficiality one might expect from a five-star hotel. I felt like I was coming home every time I went back to my room.

The Ritz-Carlton, Montreal: what do users think?

Aurore R.M.: Hotel highlights Luxury

Jerry Ehlers: . The pool has such great views of the city. The staff were all so sweet. It was my first time in Montreal and I felt so welcomed. This was my favorite stay in a hotel, hands down. I stayed in the 2 queen room

Stephen Milioti: My brother and I, along with some friends, stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Montreal for five nights when the World Figure Skating Championships were in town, and the experience was first rate all the way. From the minute we checked in, we were received so warmly by everyone at the hotel. And it only got better as the time went on. From Irene at the front desk to Guillaume in the Palm Court bar/restaurant, everyone was exemplary at their job and went above and beyond. As grand as this over-a-century-old building is, the rooms are fresh, contemporary and state-of-the-art. They feel individual and personal, with none of the cookie-cutter quality that even top luxury chains are falling prey to these days.I can’t recommend this hotel enough — it is truly one of the most special places we have stayed.Safety: Security is excellent. You need a hotel key to access the elevator and the key only provides access to your floor.Food & drinks: Try the RC cocktail at the Palm Court! It’s next level

Max Staubin: Very good, first time going there since the major renovations a few years ago. It really is the number one hotel in MontrealRooms: Very luxurious and ultra comfortable, excellent service

erick meguid: Cant beat the Ritz-Carlton. Downtown central, great location for shopping and sightseeing, everything wonderful about montreal is a small walk, staff and service you will find none better and after a hard day being a tourist, one can only enjoy your comfortable surroundings, cocktails and champagne with friends, thank you ritz carlton, until we return again

Laurie Meher: Great stay at Sens Hotel. A great location, valet parking, clean and comfortable room. The staff were friendly and helpfulRestaurant on site was excellent as well.Highly recommend!

Traci: Rooms: The room was very comfortable. Good size, all the amenities needed to work in the room if needed.Walkability: Great location with many restaurants and good shopping nearby.

Paul Prussner: Booked via Hotwire and got a very good rate. Clean lobby, elevator and hallways. Room had a good view, clean and serviceable. Room had water, coffee, bathroom stocked, fridge, safe, and TV. No issues during our 2 night stay - sound proofing to the outside pretty decent. Heard only faint sounds on the same floor from other rooms. No complaints. Friendly and fast service from staff at checkin and checkout - would stay here again.

Mariana Rey: Hotel highlights Great value

Zxanne Lupien: A rare place in Montreal with natural conservation of nature... very large base of nature. Very pretty

Alain Malka: If we can rate nature, it gets 5 stars! Add the convenience of great maintenance, snow plowing in winter, trees pruning in summer and we really have an enjoyable place of nature in the city

S T: Last glimpse of fall colors at the Cap St-Jacques nature park. The next photos will be of snowy trails.

Catherine Archambault: My stay is not over, I am staying here until Tuesday and it is a very beautiful campsite, very quiet and we have access to the beach which is magnificent! great campsite staff, friendly and welcoming!

Mi Ly: Best pizza in Montreal

danny dubé: Extraordinary very beautiful place, beautiful trail

Alexander Adam: Booked it with our scout group. We had a fun day hiking and enjoying the small beach attached to it

Michael Metzen: Great location for some winter activities. Several tracks for cross country skiing and snowshoeing, from easy level to more advanced. We did the yellow one with our 5 years old daughter how stood on skis first time last year, and it was no problem for her. No entrance fee just for parking

lori n: Presence of animals except in winter. Beautiful trails.

N. Vi: Great!

Linda Thompson: Stayed for a conference. Meeting rooms were as expected for a large hotel. The guest room layout consists of several towers and levels - requiring the use of escalators and various elevators. Some of the attendees were in different towers. The bar was great at night for connecting. The second floor where we had our cocktail party was super hot …. Too warm for mixing up a hundred people. The escalator was down for one day. Nice to have it fixed second day.Beds were comfortable and I loved the duvet.

We drank 1 can of wine and 1 bottle of Pellegrino carbonated water. No food!Guests, I suggest you take before and after pictures to protect them from taking advantage of you.Update: I called the front desk and they refunded the Pringles charge. 👍

Ève Gagnon: must stop for 1 hour on the way back to complete the loading...

Anaïs Jo: Incredible bedding, I will only come back for that! Modern and elegant rooms, without being too much, a perfect middle ground. Very luxurious atmosphere, with beautiful details; selection of the mini-bar with more than fair prices. However, it's a shame that the swimming pool is not accessible this season and that the bar closed a little 'early' during our stay. In short, looking forward to coming back to stay at this hotel!

Marilyn Ouellet: Magnificent hotel very well located right next to the Palais des Congrès. The suite was beautiful, clean and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed the hotel's H3 restaurant as well as the small Ange bakery located within the establishment for a quick breakfast to return to the room to enjoy.

Sasha Blair-Goldensohn: Friendly and knowledgeable staff, tasty room service, comfortable and tastefully decorated rooms and xoomon areas. Very convenient location. And valet parking will charge your electric vehicle. Highly recommended!Noteworthy details: Nice wheelchair-accessible rooms with roll-in shower and low bed.

Communications OTIMROEPMQ: We organized a last minute professional event in this establishment and we were more than delighted by the courtesy and efficiency of the team. The service of Rémi and his team on site, the upstream organization done by Laurence, the ease of execution of requests by Will from audio-visual; a real pleasure and peace of mind to work with you.

sumon barua: Experience Local. Surrounded by a wealth of art & culture, we are located in the heart of downtown Montreal. Historic sites, stunning outdoor landscapesRooms: World famous hotel CanadaSafety: 100%Food & drinks: Famous

Hui: Decent and cool hotel but certain aspects are a bit annoying due to some greenwashing. Rooms are well designed and spacious. However bottled waters are not provided and guests have to get water and ice from the water/ice machines on certain floors. No makeup remover wipes in bathrooms and front desk did not have any. Regardless, service is very good and the location is good to explore downtown/old Montreal. Parking garage entrance can be a bit hard to find with all the construction. Search for the indigo Humaniti lot on map. $30 per day but no in/out access.

Aaron: Stayed here late February 2024 as an Ambassador Elite. It had been a while since I stayed here for the first time and have stayed at most Bonvoy properties in Montreal in the last few years. Well, the Humaniti can be considered a new regular hotel for me when visiting Montreal! I was upgraded to a Haiku suite, which was very nice and spacious with 2 bathrooms. When I previously stayed here, I had just a normal room which I found kind of small. The Haiku suite was one of the nicer hotel suites I have stayed in recently. It is very modern and well decorated. Breakfast was included at the H3 restaurant which was very good. One of the better hotel breakfasts I’ve had in a while. Staff were great and location is very close to Old Montreal. The gym is slightly better than most hotel gyms. There is also a bakery/ cafe within the hotel that is quite good. My only minor complaint is no water bottles. I understand the environmental angle they are taking here, but it is a nuisance to have to take your glass pitcher to a different floor to fill with water since not all floors have a refill station. Perhaps housekeeping could leave a filled pitcher in the room after cleaning? Again, very minor and this may not bother some people. Will definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel for those travelling to Montreal.

Robert Oszust: Made the trip during the solar eclipse. The hotel was very accommodating. The staff were very polite providing bell hop and valet services that one would expect from going to a well run hotel. The area that the hotel finds itself in is a college town which has plenty of near-by amenities. Would be happy to visit again.Rooms: Rooms were clean and spacious.Nearby activities: Surrounded by a lot of restaurants in easy walking distance as well as a scenic mountain overview a short hike away.Walkability: Very walkable with sidewalks and street access all around.

Milena’s Pro Roofers: Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view

Me: Was there for a meeting so i didn't stay there but the staff was polite and respectful and building look nice inside and out

Matthew G: Great location when visiting Montreal. Very walkable to nearby restaurants, bars, and sights. Easy to get to the metro. Service is friendly and accommodating. Middle of the road pricing it seems. Rooms were decent. Spacious and adequate for 2 guests. Bathroom was a nice size with a tub/shower combo. Cleanliness in the room could've used some slight improvement.. I found some miscellaneous hairs on my pillows and bed sheets when I first arrived. Bathroom tub dripped continously. Bathroom could've been a bit cleaner. Views are pretty lackluster, but it is in the city after all. Room temp seemed good and the thermostat worked fine. Mini fridge was nice to keep food stored. Room overall was a bit dated and rough around the edges, but it got the job done while visiting. Not disappointed as a whole.

Leah Jean Travis: We stayed, for the first time, at Hôtel Gault this past weekend. It was a truly pleasant experience. The hotel itself is in a beautiful heritage building with wonderful and tasteful decor. Our room was also terrific; spacious with high ceilings, wood panelling, a wonderful bathtub, and an excellent bed. Even better were the staff. Without fail, everyone was welcoming, friendly, and so very helpful. I left my attache in the lobby and it was returned to me in my room within minutes. The included breakfast offers a truly satisfying range of options. My husband and I is highly recommend The Hotel Gault.

Susan Bates: Spacious, pleasant room and lobby, very quiet hotel, and great breakfasts. The staff is friendly and attentive.Rooms: We had a corner room with lots of natural light.Walkability: On a quiet street and close to many good restaurants. We walked everywhere - Griffintown, The Plateau and even Mile End.Noteworthy details: As a converted office building it has many interesting architechtual details. Not your cookie cutter hotel design.

Roxane ZREIK: A superb discovery in the heart of Montreal! Close to the metro, surrounded by great restaurants and cafes, it's a real haven of peace in the city. I was able to enjoy a sublime, elegant, tastefully decorated room in which everything has been thought of so that you can relax and enjoy your stay. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, the calm is absolute, I had the feeling of being alone in the world. On a business trip it is certain that I would return there during my personal trips. The value for money is really excellent. The quality of welcome from the staff is as high as the service, that goes without saying.

Hannah Morris: . Other than that minor detail, everything else was wonderful - our stay was so lovely. We loved our room - stylish yet retaining old character. Lots of attention to detail and everything was so clean. We appreciated the little touches - beautiful music playing on the TV/wifi when we walked in; chocolate treats laid out for us, and a lovely little note. The location was perfect for us - we wanted to be on foot and explore Old Montreal. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food. But the coffee was wonderful. And the staff - especially Estrella and Brithney - was wonderful. We really enjoyed talking to both of them and felt very taken care of. We very much hope to return to the hotel the next time we are going to be in Montreal.

Christophe Thillier: . Terrific customer service. Very well equipped rooms. We feel at home!Rooms: Spacious and tastefully decoratedNoteworthy details: Photo and art exhibitions in the hotel brand! Very nice !

Lily Greener: We had a wonderful experience at the Hotel Gault. It was easily walkable to many of the areas we wanted to visit in old Montreal. The staff was incredibly nice from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. This was our first international trip with our son, and we were a little nervous about how that would go, but they had a pack n play for him and the rooms were so spacious that we were able to comfortably set up a space for the crib in the bathroom so that he had a quiet space for naps. We would definitely stay here again!

Any time i came back from walking out side at the end of the day, I enjoyed a nice long soak and some bubbles from the jets. Annie amd Jacqui were an amazing concierge team. We hope to stay again in the future, and were grateful to take advantage of their 3rd night free promotion

Scott Clementson: I stay in a lot of hotels and the staffs are usually the deal breakers. This staff is amazing. The hotel is awesome, unique and good on its own but the staff here is beyond perfect. Felt like I was back at the Ritz Carlton. I have no idea what they are paid but they deserve a raise. This hotel is a great location and the decor is perfect

janine puglia: Wonderful hotel in the heart of the city. Beautiful hotel, beautiful rooms. Very clean accommodations. Super friendly staff. Christopher at the front desk is wonderful!!!Rooms: Spacious and clean.

Eric Bercaw: Best hotel I have ever stay at! Personally I have traveled all over the world and can say this has been my favorite place thus far. From rooms, to staff, to service, everything is five stars. Would 10/10 recommend.Rooms: Rooms are more beautiful in person than the amazing photos they have online.Nearby activities: They provide a great list of everything you could possibly want to do over a short stay in Montreal. youssef soliman: Absolutely exceptional! This hotel offers a truly unique experience with its well-appointed rooms that most of them feature Jacuzzis, fire pits, and fully-equipped kitchens, providing ample space for comfort. The reception staff, particularly Jason, stand out with their exceptional hospitality, always greeting guests with a warm smile and a professional demeanor, going above and beyond to ensure a delightful stay. Already eagerly anticipating my next visit!

Daniel Erler: Literally no WiFi reception in the room, otherwise in the hotel it is too slow for working. Breakfast and evening reception are too crowded, but having free drinks is a nice benefit. The rooms are quite big and the location is superb though.Edit after another visit in 2024: They finally fixed the WiFi and installed repeater. The elevator though can be heard even more than two rooms away, therefore only 4 out of 5 stars.

T1: Nice hotel. The food at the hotel restaurant and the drinks are really good. Joey and the rest of the team at the restaurant are all very nice and friendly. Centrally located near all of the great tourist sites and downtown shopping. Everything was in walking distance. If you rented a car they have a garage under the hotel. Housekeeping is excellent particularly Dora. I will be coming here again.

John Hanken: This is a lovely historic hotel in the very heart of historic Old Montreal, steps away from Notre Dame and pretty much walkable to all the fab restaurants and shops. Rooms are not quite the Ritz Carlton, but quite nice and very charming. The Brasserie was lively on a Thursday, the food, service and vibe impeccable. Highly, highly recommended for a fun getaway.Nearby activities: So much shopping and noshing just steps away, close to the water and the museums.Walkability: Very close to the RESO, kind of an underground city in a city for when the weather ain't greatFood & drinks: Brassierie in house is fantastic for food and bar, didn't try the Japanese restaurant.

Vicky: Very nice hotel, great location with exceptional service. All the staff are welcoming and it makes you want to come back. Lots of amenities on site. Restaurant 701 excellent. Superb roof terrace where you can eat.Rooms: Very clean room and very well decorated with a mix of brick and gypsum. Very beautiful stamp. The hotel has a distinct historic charm that encompasses the soul of the city. The location is perfect, being located right in Old Montréal, and surrounded by many cafés, restaurants, and sights, with direct access to the Metro. Staff is also very welcoming! We will for sure be staying here the next time we visit!Merci beaucoup, l'hôtel est fantastique!Rooms: Rooms are super clean, cozy beds, our room location was very quiet and quaint.Nearby activities: Place d’Armes metro station, Notre Dame Cathedral, and many shops and cafés, as well as historic sites.Walkability: Close access to metro and located central to everything. David Goodfellow: We came to Montreal to tour McGill and corcordia with my son and this hotel was perfectly situated 25 minutes walk away and close to amazing old town restaurants and cafes. The room was spacious and quiet. The staff were super helpful when our taxi from the airport tried to charge us $150 for a $41 trip. Definitely this will be our base next time we are in Montreal

Denvic Stg: never disappoints! From valet to room service, everyone went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Considering it was a busy weekend in the neighbourhood and despite crossing many guests during our stay, the hotel room remained remarkably quiet, allowing us to fully unwind and enjoy our stay. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and provided all the amenities we could ask for.Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the best that Montreal has to offer.
