We offer many privately imported beers as well. This exquisite dining experience is offered to you on the magnificent and previous site of the Soeurs Grises Congregation in Old Montreal! The Soeurs Grises chose this name, not because of a particular color use for their attire (Grises = Grey), but mostly as a sign of humility regarding mocking accusations made by the New-France population in the 1700! They accused the founder, Marguerite d'Youville, to maliciously attract the poor to a large cellar filled with alcohol to "help" them! Indeed, Marguerite d'Youville late husband, Mr François d'Youville, had a prosperous, illegal alcohol business with the Native Americans! It was then natural to believe that his stock did not go to Heaven with him! Mais qu’on se le dise : il n’y a point de bière au Ciel!
