Ginkgo Café & Bar: what do users think?

Paul Blvt: Great brunch! Good quality/quantity/price ratio. The setting is nice and the meals are super good! I recommend. 👍

Cheyenne P: I recently discovered this little gem for brunch and I am completely won over! The atmosphere is warm and friendly, perfect for a relaxed brunch with friends or family. The menu selection is impressive, with a variety of sweet and savory dishes that will satisfy all tastes. I opted for their famous avocado toast and was not disappointed - it was delicious and fresh! The service was also impeccable, the staff were attentive and smiling. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality brunch in the area.

Romy Surprenant: Love

Valerie Phu: Visited Ginkgo for brunch on a Sunday morning. Despite not having a reservation, we only waited about 15-20 minutes for a group of five, which wasn’t bad at all. The interior of the place is stunning—truly impressive design. The service added to the experience; the staff were friendly, cracking jokes and making us feel very welcome. We found the menu was mainly in French, which wasn’t an issue for us since we could read it, but it’s something to note if you’re not a French speaker. The smoked salmon omelette was a highlight—stuffed with plenty of salmon, cream cheese, and capers, it was so flavorful that I might even prefer it over a traditional smoked salmon benedict. The Florentine omelette was also excellent, loaded with cheese and spinach, and the portion sizes were just right. The classic smoked salmon benedict was exactly as you’d want it to be, hitting all the right notes.Overall, Ginkgo is a fantastic spot if you’re looking for a cute, upscale place for brunch over the weekend in Montreal. Just be prepared to wait a bit if you don’t have a reservation. I’m definitely looking forward to another visit next time I’m in town!

Pikolo Espresso Bar: what do users think?

Margee Fagelson: I think Pikolo has ruined coffee for me. I don't love the nearby hotel. But, OMG, I DO freaking LOVE Pikolo. Got a cold brew for the drive back. Cold and fresh and tasty and potent. I also got the friendliest damn barista in North America. Though, that seems to be a general staffing theme. Thanks for ruining coffee for me. Pikolo is delectable!Vegetarian options: Plant-based milk, galore.Dietary restrictions: TWO--count them--two different oat milk options, as well as all the others.

Pablo Seib: Best hot chocolate in town!!

Robin Cerutti: best coffee in town

Discovering Destinations: We took an afternoon, walk to go and grab a coffee somewhere and found this little gem. The coffee is quite tasty and the view is very nice. It’s just in front of Place des Arts. Delicious drinks, in a very nice part of the city.Parking: Depending on the time of day and the day of the week, you may be able to find street parking on Ontario Street, Saint Laurent Street and since you are close to the main attractions, there are also interior parking spaces around

Café Olimpico - Mile End: what do users think?

Bilal Abdel-Rahman: Great coffee!

Sugafull 27: I see why everyone’s recommending this coffee shop and saying it’s the best coffee in Montreal. I agree now! Their coffee has depth in taste and aroma. I hate sour tastes but olimpico’s was so amazing. I enjoyed so much. Also the staff there was super friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering two cups of coffee- caffe mocha and cafe remix. Bought tiramisu and pistachio chocolate as well because the staff recommended 😂Havent tried the tiramisu and chocolate yet but i can assure they are also all good since their coffee was excellent 💖I would def come back again. The other two location was PACKED with ppl with endless long line ups. And the stores were so tiny and small. Especially the one near Mcgill univ one was just unbelievably small i didnt want to go inside. The seats were empty but it looked impossible to sit there and enjoy/relax.Go to the mid town one! The place is big and no line ups👍🏼

Kyle McFerren: and absolutely loved the way it felt like we were on a different continent. This place really exemplified that vibe - it felt very European! They only serve espresso, no American-style drip coffee. Delicious espressos and Americanos and best atmosphere of any coffee shop we visited in Quebec!

Michel Sakakini: I visited this well known Italian cafe for a morning coffee.I have to mention how elegant and timeless the decor is, its the perfect spot to grab a hot drink and sit for a moment with a friend or a date.I had a latte to go.It was absolutely the best latte I ever had in Montreal. It was silky smooth, very rich and creamy. Id recommend it to any coffee fan.

Brighech: Recommended dishes Café Allongé Avec Pâtisserie, Croissant Pistachio

Bar Le Sparrow: what do users think?

Michel Condoroussis: A great place to grab a drink, they have a nice selection of cocktails. I had a Fuego Fresco which was spicy and really good, followed by the Margarita Lime Kafir which was also great. You can pair that with some snacks or even a full meal as they do have a full restaurant. The food was good, the fries were excellent and the Karaage chicken served in little bite sized balls was very good, although I thought the sauce was a little too sweet. The service is fast and friendly and you can actually hear yourselves speak, which is a major plus compared to many other bars. It got a little louder as the time passed but still quite good.

McKibbin’s: what do users think?

Nurit Aizenstros (Nu Eats): Had a wonderful time attending a comedy show. Made for a great Tuesday night.Food here is always good, prices are great and the service was more than on par.Appreciate.

Tom Klopack: We stopped in on a rainy Sunday afternoon after 3 hours of art museums. Great beer selection, very friendly service with tastes to figure out your likes from the big on tap selection - try the cream ale - and quite good house frites. An added bonus was the live music that started off with a guitar and fiddle doing Irish folk music, then joined over the next hour by two more fiddles and a piccolo/flute/whistle player. An enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. We’ll be back.

Michael: My to go place to go with people. Really nice service and not a long wait time for the food to arrive. Drinks are well priced and the atmosphere is always pleasant. Thei sweet potato fries is so good. Also love the beef nachos with the guiness sauce. So much flavour in it. They also do trivia night on tuesday! Definitely recommend coming here for drinks and food!

Antoine Kaysen: Saturday live shows are worth it ! Great ambiance !

Mickael Poulhazan: Great pub with a traditional atmosphere. Presence of a terrace in summer. Good service and fair prices.

Jaclyn Smith: Service was great and I dig the atmosphere. My friends said that the drinks were tasty, though weak. The sweet potato fries seemed a bit pricey, but they were ok.Sadly got there for the late night menu so a lot of the menu is off limits except the deep fried items.Live music was great and at the perfect volume to chat with friends.

Bar George: what do users think?

Martin Berger: . They aren't patient, cut off customers mid-sentance when totally unnecessary, and do not track the table throughout the meal.3. Ambiance... WOW! This building is an absolute gem and it pains me that the food and service don't do it justice.

Nutrizone S.: Stepping into this gem of a restaurant, we were immediately enveloped by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The service was nothing short of impeccable, with each staff member exhibiting a keen attention to detail that set the stage for a perfect dinner. Our waiter, notably knowledgeable about the wine selections, expertly paired the perfect wine- enhancing the evening's culinary journey. Chef Donnel English is a master. His creations were simply out of this world, each dish a testament to refined skill and creativity. The gourmet gnocchi, hands down, ranks among the top three in the world that I have tried. pillowy, perfectly seasoned, and just sublime. This dining experience was a flawless blend of sophisticated flavors and exceptional service, truly a night to remember. Thank you to all the staff at Bar George for sharing your kitchen and dining room with us!

Christina Ray: Great latte

Raphaël Sylvestre Bouchard: I brought up the issue of coffee in relation to the Nosh Bar, but let there be no mistake. The Cordova obviously has its own value with its tiled tables, its slightly veiled light globes and its excellent drinks offer. Like the holiday atmosphere, I myself will indulge in extravagance by telling you that the employee behind the counter, dressed in her best Christmas sweater, has magnificent sparkling azure eyes.P.S.By consulting an article on Tastet supposedly updated on April 24, 2023, we present Cordova as a Spanish café serving tapas and coffees equipped with, and I quote, “a small, totally seasonal menu of magnificent tasty and local dishes”. I therefore regret to inform you that there is no trace of tapas for many years. On the other hand, they show you plump croissants from Hof Kelsten.Vegetarian options: Yes, and options with oat milk.Parking: On rue Thérien, you can find free places, except Mondays.Kid-friendliness: Not really, you come for a coffee, there isn't much to snack on.Wheelchair accessibility: Small drop in height, but enough space inside.

AK: The cafe's cozy and refined atmosphere sets the stage for a remarkable evening. The selection at Whiskey Cafe is truly impressive. From rare finds to beloved classics, their range caters to all tastes. The staff's expertise shines through as they guide you through the menu, helping you discover new flavors and appreciate the nuances of each pour.I also want to give a special thanks to Mathieu, who was our server for the night, an extremely nice and professional person. When I return, I hope that he is still there!

George Korakakis: Great selection, great prices and with the grand father clause you can enjoy cigars while having fine and exquisite choice of whiskey, scotch and cognacs. Still the best place in town to have a great cigar and whisky

Pierre-Oliver Barbeau: hmmmmm good cigars perfect when it’s cold

Café Chat L'Heureux: what do users think?

Marina B.: The food is great and the kitties are so cute, i highly recommend it!

Mounir Séridi: My daughter loved playing with the cats, nice interior, well received, opt for public transport to get there, the street is pedestrian

Nathalia Sánchez: Prrrr fect!!! Cat puccino is amazing!

Naima Haridi: Beautiful place to visit and enjoy with children

tim flavin: Very fun and unique experience! Just make sure you give the cats their space and respect!

Camille QQJ: The food and drinks are excellent, as is the service. The cats are cuddly and wander around the café but I recommend the sofa or the benches for a better chance of having visitors!

Doum: Eeeeeeenfinally.. I took a coffee-dessert break in a little bistro that had been on my “bucket list” since it opened! My first observation.. this is an extremely popular cafe; family, friends, colleagues,... everyone gets their dose of pet therapy and sugar!!! I liked the atmosphere! Meeeeeerci!

Jonathan Demers: Great experience with the children. Lunch was good and affordable. The concept with real cats in the place with a descriptive sheet which gave us the opportunity to know them better. It's all really cute. The children loved it. To do again ☺️

Mokhash Singh Parmar: The dessert was really good. The cats are excellent.

Valérie champagne: We really enjoyed our visit! We really liked that the cats had lots of places to rest or come visit us. The food was good! What we really liked less was certain customers who entered our bubble when we were at our table. I understand that this is a café where people come to see the cats except that we have experienced the same people in our bubble on multiple occasions despite there being no cats around. I would have liked these characters to be made to understand that respect for others is essential.Good experience overall!

Pamela Garandel: If you like cats this is ideal

Melanie Bouchard: Great place to interact with cats while eating! 😺

El Pequeño Bar: what do users think?

Stephen Inniss: A tiny bar located right next to The Coldroom & across from Bar Bisou Bisou, El Pequeño bar stands out from its sister bars. Like it's name, its very small, seats less than 10 people and little standing room. But rather than detracting, it adds to the intimacy of the bar and a close knit vibe. The cocktails are all Cuban twists on rum based classics like the daiquiri and Pina Colada. I thoroughly enjoyed the drinks!

Kat D: Cute little bar. Good atmosphere. Service was good. Got a banana sazerac at $20 is was ok. Has an outdoor patio out front.
