The school promised to refund the tuition and most of the fees if this happened and we received the refund as promised. I am a teacher who is really passionate about studying languages, so for me the approach taken by the school would be very important and this was definitive for my positive analysis. In addition to having great facilities, what defines the school are the professionals who work there. The teachers are very well prepared and, in addition to grammatical studies, they approach a living language with a focus on interaction and the objective of preparing students for an independent life in the world of this second language. As highlighted on the first day of class by the Director of Studies, "it's not just about gathering knowledge, but about how you put that knowledge into activity in the use of language". Another very important aspect, especially for people who are on their first foray into immersion in another country, is the school's reception. I had a great experience at CLC - smart teachers that gave encouraging attention to each student, very small class sizes, a friendly, energized, and professional environment, and virtually no stress… The structure felt very well thought out - the schedule of classes was ideal for staying alert and attentive… It's nothing like the language classes I took in high school…
The classes are oriented towards speaking, everyday situations, for you to feel confident in your everyday activities… groups are small and that is perfect for rapid advancement…
CLC makes learning French fun and I never thought I would have the confidence to speak and connect with people using a completely different language…

The classes are structured in a way that gives a lot of time to speaking as well as learning grammar and vocabulary… There is a nice continuity between classes so what you learn in one class, you practice in the next… I got some very good tips for how to continue my French practice outside of the class and some good tips for how to accelerate my learning path… very supportive and clear in their communication and teaching…
In the past I've had difficulty getting on with more traditional language learning, so CLC was perfect for me as the style of teaching is very laid back, modern and informal… The teachers were all so enthusiastic and encouraging, and the atmosphere in the school is ridiculously welcoming and relaxed…
I was used to the more traditional teaching methods common in Europe and was delighted by the conversation and interaction based curriculum at CLC… It was a confidence boosting and liberating experience...
The 45min format of classes was great for keeping my attention and the change of teachers for each class means you don’t get used to one accent…

At first, I felt thrown into the deep end because my French is still at the very beginning level. However, CLC's teachers are supportive, patient and kind, and the language learning approach is very communicative.
The school is run very professionally and all interactions with them were smooth and easy. The teachers are committed and knowledgeable - not just about the languages they teach, but about how to teach and learn languages. Can't recommend them highly enough!

I did not get the progress expected. Karen Bishop: Just fabulous. Took the thrice weekly zoom classes with 8 other students and our teacher, Thomas Faudon, was just so very excellent. There are aways one or two students who are reticent to express themselves; Thomas got them involved and encouraged them to see themselves as French speakers. If there were a second level class, I would immediately sign up for it.

This allowed me to have a better understanding of the language in order to put together and speak more clearly and confidently, rather than just “read and repeat” phrases.As someone who is hard of hearing, I would emphasize how accommodating and accepting the class environment was. Even while our classes were online due to COVID, Thomas was very accommodating and provided verbal and visual means so that it was easy to keep up and follow along in the class. No matter what stage in your learning you’re at, Thomas does a great job at lifting people up with light humour and encouragement.There’s no escaping the hard work if you want to learn French , but Thomas sure helped make the process lot more fun and engaging!!!
Natsuko Nakamura: I think I was the oldest student he ever had. He treated me with respect with jokes here and there during the class. The class was very interactive and the homework assignments enforced what I learned that day. Thomas being a native French, he even taught us the difference between French and Canadian French, which was very helpful for me for many practical reasons. I wish there would be another level of his course I can attend.

Nathan Clinansmith: Motorcycle School Review - Morty's came highly recommended to me and the courses were a fantastic experience. From the admin office to the classroom and even speaking to Morty himself, I would recommend this school hands down. They stress safety and education, not just passing your test and getting your license. Bruce, Phil, Gerry, Scott and Tze were born to teach. There is no question, if you want to learn to ride, go to Morty's. You can actually bet your life on it.
Nam Nguyen: This place is amazing, a Michelin 3 star one if it were a restaurant! I was a noob and my instructor, Tze, whipped me into shape in no time! He was very patient and thorough in his explanation. The theory with Bruce was also straight up bussin! Thanks Morty, you guys are the best!

Laura Hoyos: speaker. School is always clean and the class is practical and guided, with a fresh teaching perspective far away from only filling a book. You can find a cafeteria that sells some products, some fridges were you can store your meals, coffee machines, microwaves and so on. I go to 6pm classes as I work on a full time job and have not many options. I can say I enjoy and wait anxiously to go to class and learn. Thank you so very much!

I think I came across a class of young people in professional training, only beginners in the evening. The team is ready. No, but I, GEN X, wondered when the apocalyptic atmosphere of globalization would calm down and return to customer service as before. I am moved by it. I'm going to give them my CV, but it's clear that I'm a light client. Bravo but just bravo!

There are a lot of grammar and conjugation exercises, and we often work in pairs to be able to exchange and speak orally. Practicing in a group and feeling the good vibes really carried me through.I was able to connect more to an energy of sharing. 장효정: Atpal is very nice.It has a great method which is different from a traditional institute. They focused on speaking and each students' weaknesses individually. Ergio Guitian: I personally never studied at ATPAL, but my two cousins did, and they not only had a great experience in Montreal—making friends and enjoying their time—but they also learned English in just 6 months. When they arrived, they were complete beginners, but 6 months later, they were able to speak English. Their progress was remarkable, and I was very satisfied with what they accomplished in such a short time!

Amal Gayed: Very welcoming studio and vibe for all levels and people. In my opinion best yoga instructors in Montreal - they have a strong base and understanding of anatomy to avoid injuries. Also had an excellent experience in the teacher training program and feel well equipped to teach.

Judith L-P: I've been a student since 2008 and we'll be for many years to come. Classes offer a wide range of yogic practices based on both tradition and a kean sense of modern kinesthetic. With aging, I'm guided to prevent injuries and adapt to my bodies strengths and limitations. But the young and fierce better whatch out for the intense challenges of physical and spiritual growth.

Mathilde Majois: I went to several classes there, especially the Mysore practice of the Saturday morning. Enjoyed every bit of it. Plus, I had the opportunity to rent one of the studios for several months. It was a chance to share such nice spaces to practice yoga with my students. There is not so much clear, clean and fully furnished rooms in Montreal, and such a great space ! Great teachers, greats spaces. I definitely recommend.

Jeanne, the owner, is an incredibly experienced, thoughtful, intelligent and kind person who has a huge wealth of yogic expertise. She has surrounded herself with high-quality, experienced teachers in order to create a community where safety, precision and alignment come first. There are classes for all tastes and levels here.

Tatiana Kalashnikova: It's been almost two years since I did my CELTA at ILSC Montreal English Language School. I am a private tutor and use my skills every day I teach online. I teach both mini-groups and indivuduals. I've become very comfortable with breakout-rooms, using only digital teaching materials, and managing my classroom.I had a great experience doing CELTA, and I am a bit nostalgic as I don't have colleagues to talk about teaching ESL as I would if I worked in a regular school. I would gladly participate in more workshops and "reunions" as well as go for another traning session.
