The place is clean and located on 2 floors. We received impeccable service from Mellissa who is very patient and competent. I recommend without hesitation.

He gives great advice and is knowledgeable to create the aquascape of your dreams and the conditions that your fish will thrive in.The store has many items that are useful for your aquarium at a great price. While they don't have much selection of fish, they mostly have amano shrimp, red and yellow cherry shrimps, crystal red shrimp, blue bolts, guppies and some tetras.The plants here are affordable and his recommendations are very thought out for your scape. There's more selection of substrates, equipment, diffusers, shrimp hides, plant supplements etc. in the shop rather than fish. There's also a selection of driftwood, dragon stone, magma stone, seriyu stone for your aquarium.They mostly sell nano tanks if you're interested in making a palundarium or having a small setup. If interested in specific parts or pieces for your aquirium the owner is more than happy to order them for you!Definitely will come back again soon to get more equipment for my aquarium!!

I could probably go a lot of days eating salmon for every meal - smoked salmon on a bagel for breakfast, salmon sashimi for lunch, and a grilled salmon for dinner would not be a problem. So... you mileage may vary depending on how much you like salmon I guess is what I'm saying.The ambience is nice and cozy and the staff, in particular the manager, are incredibly friendly and nice. The manager might even suggest something off menu for you based on the fish and seafood he has that day. He recommended trying a fish and chips made with monkfish the last time I was there and it was terrific.If you're in the area I highly recommend giving La Queue definitely Poisson a try.

Kelly Remai: The pea soup was the best I have ever had. They took a classic Quebec staple known for its nutrition and comfort and made it a little lighter and even more delicious. The spicy lentil soup was also the best I have ever had for similar reasons. When I spent three weeks in Nepal years ago, we had lentil soup every day so I thought I had seen every possible way it could be done … but I was wrong! This was the perfect combination of comfort, nutrition, spice and density. Fascinating how they can master a Quebec classic and one from the Himalayas at the same time.

Jen Gurniak: Our first night in Montreal was Good Friday and my friend that I was traveling with said that his family always did fish and chips and really wanted to do that for dinner. Upon research, Brit and Chips was the restaurant that kept coming up. We knew since it was Good Friday there might be a wait but we didn't mind. When we got there they said it was 45 mins but we got in a lot quicker than that. We both got the maple battered haddock and it was absolutely delicious. It was just the right fish to batter ratio and it wasn't greasy at all. Wasn't super pricey and we got a lot of food. Will make this a stop again next time I come to Montreal!

In true British fashion it was not very salty. The beer selection was ok, they had a local brew that was nice but eveything else was canned, they had something to cover all tastes but not a large pub selection. They only offer beer and twist top wine so if you’re looking for a cocktail this isn’t the place. We loved it for what it was!Parking: Parking in this entire area sucks, it’s city parking, not expecting much 🤷🏽♀️

Berlin Montana: I recently tried New Victoria Fish, and I can't praise their customer service enough – truly exceptional! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond. As for their smoked salmon, it's hands down the best in Montreal. The rich, smoky flavor and perfect texture make it a must-try. Five stars without a doubt!

R M: Just WOW! Dog owners helping dog owners. Went to the vet and got turned down for a nail trim after 13 years of being a loyal client, thank goodness I found this place!
