Tessa Blanc: The meat is great, and they hold a variety of cold cuts that are hard to find elsewhere, like tongue and jellied meats. Service varies from the cheerful, helpful, and warm to the haughty and somewhat rude. A little odd.

Chris Aung-Thwin: Great old school butcher with nice Hungarian and Polish products. The spicy sausages are excellent - anytime I serve them alone or as part of a dish people always ask about them. Also one of the more reasonably-priced rib steaks around.
E: My dad has been going to this deli since the 80s. We're in Ottawa, and used to be able to do the trip very frequently. Now that he can't, I stop by every time I'm in Montreal and buy some meats as gifts. Anyone I have ever given sausages to becomes absolutely obsessed. You can't get this kind of quality anymore.Joe is amazing, and I look forward to seeing him when I go.
