Jose Sanchez: Cloakroom is a solid cocktail bar. I went there with the wife and 2 other people a while ago. They don't provide a menu, instead the server asks a few questions to provide a drink within your flavour profile. I found this to be risky as it creates some expectations, but was open to be proven wrong. Drinks were actually good but not extraordinary. We tried each other drinks and I found my wife's to be really good. Problem is I asked for my second drink to be exactly what they made her and I did not get the exact same. The drink was a different colour. Similar but not quite the same. That's the reason for my 4 star review. I think I could give this bar another go at some point. But it would be hard to do with other bars in Montreal like Le Mal Nécessaire.
Kayla Seider: and the drinks were truly the best I've ever had. There is no menu so the bartenders make your drinks after talking with you a bit and learning about you and every drink we had was absolutely spot on. We loved this bar so much, we came back after dinner and stayed until close. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be coming back next time we're in Montreal.

Richard Martz: and I was blown away. Beautiful, sophisticated design, but still feels intimate and low key. Staff were fun and friendly; drinks were fresh, interesting/unique and stiff.Loved the vibe overall and definitely worth making a detour for - it's a great spot for a date, to hang with friends, or to entertain business colleagues/clients.They've completely upped their game even further and cemented its status as one of the best cocktail bars in the city.
Dominic Ling: Great little bar that recently moved to a larger location. They have an extensive drink menu that will have you trying something new every time. Try the froot loops shots, you will be surprised. I had the Big Fun in Little China, great drink for those who love strong ginger. It even had a fortune cookie! The vibes here are just right on a night out. They even had a DJ when I visited.

Our cocktails were just as good. My favorite was the “40 thieves” made with tahini, simply delicious. The cocktails are all unique and sophisticated, and there are good imported wines.The employees are all attentive. Despite the room full of customers, they are all calm, attentive and efficient.

Paula Mendoza: What a place! I love that is secret, if you want to go to the cocktail bar you need to enter to the restaurant and go down by the stairs and there is the bar.... I love it! The cocktails are delicious, extremely good quality, reasonable prices, we loved the music and the vibe. The reason why I didn't put 5 stars, it's because for me the stools were very uncomfortable, for sure I could stayed there more time but to be honest my back was killing me, it's a shame!!! But for sure it's an amazing place for drinks!

Jillian: Super cute and not too loud. Has very attentive and nice staff. Drinks were incredible and the staff explain how to best experience some of the ones that were more special. There are different levels of cocktails - some more classic and some more out there. It’s open pretty later and they serve snacks from the restaurant upstairs if you want a bite.
Wael Kallas: The DJs really know how to curate a vibe, incredible track choices if you’re into house/techno. The Moscow Mules were great and all the staff were accommodating.One of my favourite spots in the city - highly recommended!

Stephen Inniss: A tiny bar located right next to The Coldroom & across from Bar Bisou Bisou, El Pequeño bar stands out from its sister bars. Like it's name, its very small, seats less than 10 people and little standing room. But rather than detracting, it adds to the intimacy of the bar and a close knit vibe. The cocktails are all Cuban twists on rum based classics like the daiquiri and Pina Colada. I thoroughly enjoyed the drinks!

Elspeth: I had a wonderful time with my two friends. We went on a Thursday for their jazz night and it was so much fun! There was a $7 add on for the live band which we were told about while being seated. Our server was so friendly and took great care of us. The bar was very reminiscent of a speakeasy, it was very dark and tables were lit by candles. If you have issues seeing in the dark, definitely take that into account. After a little while my eyes adjusted, but when I first walked in it was hard to see. Overall I had a lovely time. The cocktails were delicious, staff were friendly, the band was wonderful and I will definitely be going back!

Fernanda Penaflor: Boyfriend and I went there for drinks and oysters and we were not disappointed. Cocktails were really good. Christ was our bartender and he wasn't only serving drinks, we got the story behind every cocktail he recommended. He is very knowledgeable! Michel Condoroussis: A great place to grab a drink, they have a nice selection of cocktails. I had a Fuego Fresco which was spicy and really good, followed by the Margarita Lime Kafir which was also great. You can pair that with some snacks or even a full meal as they do have a full restaurant. The food was good, the fries were excellent and the Karaage chicken served in little bite sized balls was very good, although I thought the sauce was a little too sweet. The service is fast and friendly and you can actually hear yourselves speak, which is a major plus compared to many other bars. It got a little louder as the time passed but still quite good.

Jerome Kithinji: Milky Way Cocktail Bar is a vibe! The place is decked out in cool decor and cosy intimate atmosphere. We went on a Saturday night, and the DJ was on point with a killer mix of afrobeat, hip hop, and R&B tunes. However, when it came to the cocktails, they were just okay. Not gonna lie, they felt a bit watered down and could've packed more of a punch. But hey, if you're all about the vibes and the music, Milky Way is worth checking out for a fun night out.

Kid JL: I really enjoyed the experience I had at this bar. The service was polite and friendly, the interior decoration was remarkable and quite lovely, the drinks were fantastic and not too expensive. At least for the prices they charge, it was decent. My favourite thing about this bar is probably the fact that we had plenty of space at our table and around our table. It felt really spacious for once and we could really enjoy our drinks and talking to each other. The noise level was also just right, the music playing wasn't too loud or too quiet. The main downside however is probably that there is a longer wait time compared to a lot of other places. This comes back to the generous amount of space they give to each customer so there are less seats in consequence. But, I do feel like the wait time was worth it because I had an amazing time inside the bar.
