Deon Freeman: Camtec Photo on McGill has become my go to place for photography equipment because of the amazing service I received. I was in search of a Nikon Z9 all over Montreal, and the other stores in the area offered me no other options after they said they were out of stock. Not Camtec!! right away I was offered to have it ordered in a week or two upon paying a deposit. This is exceptional service. I didn't even so much as receive a smile in the other camera stores. Adriana Grugel-Park: what you need. I was looking for a present- a particular camera that is relatively difficult to find brand new, these days. Most of the retailers I had visited said they couldn't get it within my 6 week time frame. Not only did Camtec have the model in stock but for more than 30% less than I had expected to pay! These guys are pros. I will definitely be going back for future purchases- they've certainly won a new customer, in me.

Rachelle Hamilton: A friend and I walked in just to browse and started chatting to the guys about the kind of cameras we were looking for. The first camera they pulled for both of us is exactly what we were looking for. They still answered all out questions and showed us other models, but their first pull was the right one. They were as helpful to me buying a casual old point and shoot that they were with my clearly more experienced and serious photographer friend. I have no idea they also develop film which is great. He recommended I shoot a first roll, and have it developed with them just to make sure everything with the camera is working as intended. I will definitely be back to buy some lenses and to develop some film.
