Felipe Modesto: is great. The staff is friendly and there is a good enough offer to supply most of my DIY home renovation needs.Prices are competitive and there are frequently good things on sale. Got some paint for buckets for $10 once!I appreciate their local touch feel.
Bob Morin: It is a local, small hardware store, with a wide variety of items that you would need for repairs and tools for the household. They are a little pricey but that is to be expected in a small shop.

Kate Schroeder: This is by far my favorite hardware store. The staff are super friendly, always helpful and not condescending to me as a woman when I’m asking questions or for help, like some other big name stores. Plus their prices are better and they have a wide selection online of items that can be picked up at the store if they don’t have something in stock.
Vigneshwaran Krishnamurthy: This is an amazing hardware shop. The prices are reasonable and the staff are amazing. They are super friendly and amazing. They even helped me finding the right parts. A must visit shop, if you need to do anything, a DIY project, they are the best place to go. They accept cash and card. If you have scotia bank card, you can get additional Scene points for the money you spend here.

Natasha Fagant: I came here after a very frustrating experience at a different hardware store. I came into the Quincaillerie on the verge of tears and honestly pretty scared to talk to any of the workers in fear of being belittled. Instead I found a calm and kind gentleman working named Patrick. He listened as I described my issue and after I’d finished, told me that the problem I was facing was pretty common but the part that I was looking for had just not been engineered yet. I proposed a couple of solutions that he wasn't entirely behind as they would be macgyvering different parts together but I insisted that I wanted to try.Wanting to be helpful Patrick brought me to the section where I found an adapter that I could alter. He also proposed a Drain Pipe Connector as opposed to the shrinking hose for electronics that I was thinking of modifying. I never would have thought of that… because I’m not a plumber which is why I was seeking plumbing advice.I'm not going to lie I've had frustrating experiences at this store where I have felt talked down to and its hard not to assume that its because Im a woman coming into a male dominated field and workspace. However, today I felt my concerns were listened to and that I left with a plan of action and more information after talking to Patrick.We need more Patricks in the world.

DCR Construction project Manager was attentive to our ideas, and offered their own ideas which we found very helpful. We never got the feeling that our job was too small or not worth their time. Our satisfaction with the work was their number one priority. I would highly recommend DCR Construction, honest and respectful builder.

After it was done, James came by to explain about floor levelling, something that several other contractors could not. He made promises I thought he couldn't keep. But sure enough, he kept them.
