MAG-MTL Projets Inc.: what do users think?

Jérémie Fortin-Groulx: Plexiglass windows are very soundproofing.

jimmy Sheehy: Very effective in reducing street noise!

Emmanuel André: Very good results! We have had soundproofing panels installed on 6 windows and the noise reduction is very satisfactory. They are very courteous and professional people. Thanks to the Mag-Mtl projects team!

emmanuel simitsakos: I had them installed in my bedroom, of my new condo. I must tell you, it made a world of difference to me. I can sleep without earplugsI highly recommend their excellent product and their excellent serviceThank you to the team.

Miss T: Excellent service from start to finish. The staff is respectful and professional. We are finally able to fall asleep without hearing the noise of the street, cars, motorcycles and young people hanging out late! I highly recommend!! The price is worth it, you buy your peace of mind!

weidrake: Noise insulation made a night and day difference; I estimate a 30-50% reduction in perceptible noise. I used to hear conversation from the street and be woken by frequent car noises or garbage trucks, but not anymore. Low rumbling noises with heavy vibration are the least blocked. All members of staff extremely proficient and friendly. Installation was professional and looks seamless with the original windows. I wouldn’t say it is cheap but I would say it was worth it for me. Highly recommended.

Arthur Tang: We couldn’t be happier with the whole transaction. The total cost of the window was very reasonable. The room is now quiet as a tomb and the hot summer air is no longer flowing into our home. Lastly, the window looks beautiful as if it were part of the original setting. Excellent custom service all around. Thank you, Zein and Adib.

Nancy Brown: Highly recommend if you are looking for a noise reduction solution for your windows. Great communication from the business, the product and process was clearly explained, fair pricing, the installation proceeded on time, was as expected and everything was clean and tidy when they left. There is an impressive reduction of the noise level from outside and it all looks seamless, like normal windows. This is absolutely worth the investment and I am happy to recommend.

Frederic Turcotte: Installation went great and I’m very satisfied with the product. Thanks!

Francis Morissette: Our baby's room faces a busy street. It was impossible to sleep there until these panels were installed. They have substantially reduced the noise, and the baby sleeps through the night! Excellent service, fast and courteous. THANKS!

R F: I am very pleased with my new sound proof window MAG-MTL Projets Inc. installed last month at my home. I live on the West Island of Montreal and very close to the airport. Airline noise disturbance has increased the last two year to the point either I found a solution to this nuisance or seriously considering moving to a quieter area. Fortunately, no need to move since MAG-MTL's sound proof window is very effective. They are very easy to work with, reasonable price and great service. Thank you MAG-MTL Projets Inc.!

samuel rigaud: Life changing experience, All I wanted is peace and I finally found it!

Michael Ugolini: Very pleased with the product and service ! The window inserts make an incredible difference in noise reduction.

Haaz Reda: Spoke with Zeyne on the phone to get a quote and the Mag mtl team is super professional, patient and very generous with their time! Great support!

TCL GRENOUILLER: Hyper-responsive people. Prices, delivery times and quality are as promised. Quick installation and careful work. The noise-proof glass is perfectly effective on Van Horne Avenue where we live. Do not hesitate !

Theresa Ho: I am a voice actor and had some custom panels made for the French doors in my office to block outside noise. The noise reduction was enormous and a life saver, especially when I have live directed sessions with clients. And the customer service is fantastic! I highly recommend MAG-MTL!

Amanda Ortiz: is the zestiest bartender I've ever met! He spiced up our evening with his fiery cocktails and hot sense of humour. Never have I seen someone juggle limes, shots, and sass with such zest. His mixology skills are as refreshing as his signature sangria he blessed us with upon arrival. If you're looking for a bartender who can stir up a good time, Jalapeño is your guy. Guaranteed to turn any sour day into a spicy night. Definite hangover tomorrow but it will be worth it. Can’t wait to see our guy Jalapeño again. Make sure you call him Jalapeño lol 3

Nancy Chouinard: Great serviceVery good locationTo go back

JB: I have stayed at the W Montreal many times and for so many reasons. The hotel itself is fantastic, with beautiful rooms, a great vibe and a location that can't be beaten. However, the service at the W is above and beyond. My most recent stay was outstanding due to the extraordinary service from the concierge W insider.I want to extend a special thank you to Mauricio V. He was always there to answer my questions and book my reservations at any of the top restaurants and bars in the city. Mauricio's efforts made all the difference and made my stay at the W and in Montreal more enjoyable. The dedication and enthusiasm Mauricio V showed in taking care of my requests and needs made me feel a very valued guest. Thank you again to all the staff at the W Montreal and a special thank you again to Mauricio V.

Marina Sonin: who made our stay flawless. We were treated to champagne in our rooms, desserts on the house and were treated well by the staff.

Roger Hughes: Hotel highlights Luxury

Alexandre Blais: I had the chance to experience several Hotels in Montreal and my experience at the W was really positive! The employees are very welcoming and attentive!Everyone is attentive to your needs!I highly recommend. We also had the chance to speak with Mauricio W insider!A man who was also very attentive!Definitely our new favorite in Montreal!

David: .It's a great spot for the value. I wouldn't recommend families staying here, but if you're travelling solo, with a partner, or with friends this is a good place to stay for the weekend.

JE JE: Visiting for a week, we had a very pleasant stay. The staff is welcoming, correct and polite. The manager was very understanding and cooperative. The reception hall is warm with its free hot drinks dispenser.Small downside: we would have liked a more varied breakfast.Rooms: Spacious, quiet. Park slope on the squirrels. Cleaned daily.Nearby activities: Close to all amenities.

Diogo Fiori: but at the time we were offered a menu and the prices were higher. We ate at another location.Rooms: The rooms were large and comfortable.Nearby activities: We went to Montreal En Lumière, very close to the hotel which is also surrounded by restaurants and places to visit.Safety: We felt very safe at the hotel, the entrance door was locked at night, 24-hour concierge.Walkability: Very easy to walk around, metro stations very close. We left the car parked for a long time.Noteworthy details: Each floor has an ice machine, which made it much easier for us to always have our drinks cold and to be able to take some ice on our trips.

Vogue Hotel Montreal Downtown: what do users think?

Anju Patwardhan: .

Caroline Matteau: Very nice hotel and impeccable service. There is a very convenient valet service for this corner of Montreal. It was during a private event, the food was very good except the tuna steak which was dry. The room is spacious and beautiful. Room #411 from memory. The bed is very comfortable, I would like to know the brand of the mattress please haha! There's a small fridge, but it's already stocked with items for sale. If you want a bucket of ice, you have to ask at reception. The hotel lobby is impressive in its height. There is a restaurant on site and a small cafe near reception. I would come back without hesitating!Rooms: Spacious, comfortable

Greg McNab: and is just off the main street so it's easy to wait for and get in and out of Ubers etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we had questions. There is a bar and cafe in the lobby so you don't have to go far to get something to eat or drink if you don't want to. The lobby is beautiful and welcoming with a big fireplace. The room was huge and made me want to live there. It felt like we were the first people to ever stay in it. Huge TV in the room and modern music devices. We even used the gym, which had everything we needed. All in all a great stay and will be back.Nearby activities: There were lots of bars, restaurants and the Bell Centre within walking distance.Food & drinks: Lots of restaurants and places to get Montreal style bagels nearby :

Toan Le: My stay at the Vogue Hotel, booked as a diamond member through FHR, had a wide range of experiences.Checking in:I was initially told at 10 a.m. that my room was ready and just awaiting inspection, but upon arriving at 12:30, I had to wait another 20 minutes. Although I did get in before the standard 4 p.m. check-in time, this early check-in experience pales in comparison to other FHR hotels where I’ve routinely been accommodated much earlier, usually in the early mornings at the Langham NYC, as has been almost the norm during my countless stays at FHR hotels. The experience at the front desk was a bit prolonged unnecessarily. After being told my room would be ready soon, I ended up waiting in the lounge for almost 20 minutes. When I inquired again, the room was finally ready, suggesting they might have forgotten about me. The inconsistency with early check-in times, especially compared to other FHR hotels, was notable.Room:The first room offered a view of a dirty roof and what appeared to be a pile of trash, coupled with no doorman to assist with luggage—a service lapse unexpected at a hotel within the Fine Hotels and Resorts program. However, the extensive array of Le Labo Santal 33 products—hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel—did lend a luxurious touch. My ‘second upgrade’ experience was another letdown. I was moved to what was termed a ‘suite’, but in reality, it was not a suite at all. Having stayed at numerous luxury hotels, I know the difference between a room and a suite. This so-called upgrade was just a slightly better version of the same room, two floors up, with a marginally improved view and a larger bathtub. However, the showerhead in the upgraded room was immovable, making it awkward to adjust the water temperature. I had to stand outside the shower door, poke one arm inside to adjust the water temperature, and wait until it was okay to get in. Additionally, the minibar contained expired chocolate, which was a disappointing discovery; the chocolate was comped due to this issue. We were provided with a soft, double-layered bathrobe, though, which was a pleasant touch. I would say this is my favorite bathrobe out of all my FHR stays.Dining:A real highlight of this stay was dining at the Yama restaurant within the hotel, which I've reviewed separately, awarding it five stars for its exceptional food and service. The $100 USD credit from FHR, which was converted to $126 CAD—less than the current exchange rate—covered a significant part of our dinner. Breakfast at Yama was also delightful, featuring various eggs benedict options and standard choices, with the FHR credit covering most of the costs. No additional breakfast credits were provided or stacked with my Hilton Diamond status over my two-night stay, but they wouldn’t have been necessary anyway.Overall, the Vogue Hotel aligns with the standards expected of a four-star hotel. If the check-in process had been smoother, the term 'suite' had not been misleadingly used for the room upgrade, and there had been no expired items, my experience could have been rated five stars. I appreciate honesty in service, especially as both an FHR and Diamond member who is typically upgraded based on availability, and I did not appreciate being misled about the room upgrade.

J Y: .Thank you for our stay!!Rooms: The rooms are very spacious and extremely beautiful.

Charles E: My wife, following our daughter's recommendation, booked us at Vogue Montreal as part of my birthday celebration. We stayed in room 511 on March 16. Everything about our stay was just fabulous. The staff went out of their way to make our stay so memorable. I want to thank the staff involved for making our stay so special. THANK YOU!Rooms: Very spacious and tasteful decor. The bathroom very large also.

Deborah Burbo: My husband and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Hotel Vogue again; we had a very nice experience. When we visit Montreal, we usually stay in Old Montreal. However, on this occasion, we made the trip to see a temporary exhibit at the Museum of Fine Art, which was a short walk from the hotel. The location and available valet parking were very convenient. The sleek and modern lobby was visually stunning the and clean, well-appointed room made our stay a pleasure. The staff were welcoming and friendly, yet impeccable in their professionalism. We were very pleased.

hidemi arai: You can use the shower room even if you arrive early, and you can leave your luggage there. You can also use the lounge even before checking in, so you don't have to waste time outside.

Cléome Suet: Great experience!I stayed one night in a shared dormitory, no noise problem and the terrace is really nice! In addition, the staff was very helpful, kind and understanding in answering all my questions about Canada and guaranteeing me an easy check-in and check-out. Special thanks to Isaac, Sidric, Arnaud and Diarmuid for their kindness!

Justine Coureau: First hostel experience and not the least! The location of the hostel is great. The metro, supermarket and living areas are just a few steps away. The staff is smiling, always ready to advise, help and accommodating. I checked in with Nicolas who took the time to explain everything with a smile and my check out with Emma, super smiling and kind. THANKS ! The beds are comfortable, clean with a curtain, hangers, space to put personal items, the lockers are large and the bathroom super clean. Moreover, the common areas are operational whether in the kitchen, lounge or the bar with billiards, table football and ping-pong table. The rooftop is great with its jacuzzi and amenities even if I didn't really enjoy it over time.Really nothing to complain about. I loved my stay and I'll be back soon 😁

Paul Thevasagayam: Fantastic hotel to stay at in the middle of Downtown Montreal. If you can, I highly suggest booking one of their suite rooms as it's extremely well made with a lot of nifty features you won't find in any other hotel in Montreal.Don't get too excited about the in-room terrasse though as it's not really worth it.

J B: Picked this place for a weekend visit to Old Montreal. The location was absolutely perfect and made everything within easy walking distance. The staff were all fantastic. Extremely helpful. Will return for sure.

Nova Guy: , coffee is available in the rooms as well.Breakfast is served by leaving a basket per person in by the room door in the morning. It's continental breakfast with fresh Juice, yogurt and either a baguette or croissant. It was excellent and plenty to fill you up.Beds were comfortable and I slept well all 3 nights.Parking is a lot that is about 2 blocks away, easy to get to and cost ~CA$32/per day.Hotel is in good spot to wonder the Old Montreal with lots of restaurants on St. Paul. The one odd thing about the hotel is the bathroom doors, they have frosted glass which doesn't give you a ton of privacy. Not sure why an interior designer would think that was a good idea.Other than that I don't think you can go wrong here.Walkability: Easy to walk to the sights around Old Montreal.

Kreesha Guru: Such a good location close to all the popular restaurants, tourist attractions. We were able to leave the car parked and were able to walk and explore. The room is clean and so is the lounge. Inviting space. We paid $70-80 for 2 days parking and were able to take the car in and out. There is a complementary drink and breakfast available.Nearby activities: MuseumFerris wheelPortWalkability: 20-30 walk to downtownFood & drinks: Variety of options available

Sarah Carroll: this place is sure to make you feel all groovy and smiley, I promise. My hubby and I visited to celebrate our anniversary and my upcoming birthday. We were greeted by the most hospitable folks who went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay. We had treats waiting for us, and were even gifted a small treat when we checked out. I am going to assume the woman who has short blonde hair and a contagious smile is the manager, and she really deserves kudos for making our visit so wonderful. Another all star we met with was Charlie

Olivier Surprenant: I had a more than pleasant stay at this hotel to enjoy the Nuit blanche de Montréal festivities. Very well located, a few minutes walk from the entertainment district. Nostalgic decor and atmosphere, which take us back to the city's past. Interesting wine list for the 5@7 and a big thank you to Mr. Pablo for the delicious cocktails! We will definitely be back.

Jerry Ehlers: . The pool has such great views of the city. The staff were all so sweet. It was my first time in Montreal and I felt so welcomed. This was my favorite stay in a hotel, hands down. I stayed in the 2 queen room

Stephen Milioti: My brother and I, along with some friends, stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Montreal for five nights when the World Figure Skating Championships were in town, and the experience was first rate all the way. From the minute we checked in, we were received so warmly by everyone at the hotel. And it only got better as the time went on. From Irene at the front desk to Guillaume in the Palm Court bar/restaurant, everyone was exemplary at their job and went above and beyond. As grand as this over-a-century-old building is, the rooms are fresh, contemporary and state-of-the-art. They feel individual and personal, with none of the cookie-cutter quality that even top luxury chains are falling prey to these days.I can’t recommend this hotel enough — it is truly one of the most special places we have stayed.Safety: Security is excellent. You need a hotel key to access the elevator and the key only provides access to your floor.Food & drinks: Try the RC cocktail at the Palm Court! It’s next level

Max Staubin: Very good, first time going there since the major renovations a few years ago. It really is the number one hotel in MontrealRooms: Very luxurious and ultra comfortable, excellent service

erick meguid: Cant beat the Ritz-Carlton. Downtown central, great location for shopping and sightseeing, everything wonderful about montreal is a small walk, staff and service you will find none better and after a hard day being a tourist, one can only enjoy your comfortable surroundings, cocktails and champagne with friends, thank you ritz carlton, until we return again

Noah Richman: Hotel st Thomas played such an amazing role in my lady and I having the most wonderful time in Montreal. We stayed for 4 nights and felt this was just the perfect location. Extremely walkable to so many areas and a max 15 minute drive to non walkable spots. Room and bathroom were immaculately clean and designed beautifully. The balcony in our room was a great touch too. But the best part of the property is the staff, they completely make this property what it is. Xavier the manager and all the girls that worked the weekend shifts were soooo friendly, helpful with recommendations, and just all around great staff to be around. Thank you hotel st Thomas!

Morning: This hotel is clean and attractive. The building is beautiful and the rooms are well appointed. The tub in our room is positively divine; deep and luxurious with a view. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The bar is beautiful and the drinks were delicious. The balcony is roomy. The breakfast was fresh and hot. We were in town to go ice skating and they are well situated. There are lots of restaurants nearby.Rooms: We were well pleased. The rooms were big and comfortable.

Humberto Silveira: . Next year we will be back!!Rooms: Super cozy rooms, minimalist, sophisticated and cozy decor!! Bathrooms with bathtub and city view

Maria Amperiadou: You could find many other nice hotels in Montreal, but I am not sure about finding friendlier staff. I really enjoyed staying there.Service: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …

Amy Vuong: Honestly the best hotel experience I’ve had. This review is unprompted, was so impressed I had to write a few things.Visiting from the US, stayed for 4 nights. Hotel staff went above and beyond: carried our luggage without asking, microwaved and served our leftovers on plates just like we lived there, offered us coffee, etc. Just the most friendly and helpful staff. Rooms and lobby were 5-star, the most beautiful and clean. Super comfortable bed and room. Really enjoyed the variety of treats in the entryway lobby every time we came back.

Kyle desrochers: Great hotel!Well located between the plateau and the city center! The hotel has a bar and room service which is very practical.Super friendly staff. And the rooms are sublime and the bathroom has everything you dream of having.Mini bar in the room which is appreciated for late hours.I highly recommend this establishment.

Kassandra Harris: Top Notch!!! Our suite was out of this world gorgeous! The view was stunning, all of our rooms were set up beautifully, extremely spacious, with a gorgeous kitchen and dining area. The decor was perfection. Pool was small but heated, balcony was a walk around balcony with downtown views you probably can't see at other locations. Staff were attentive and polite. Assisted with all needs, in a timely fashion. Morning breakfast was included and delicious. A variety of options that had a great dining area, but if we didn't want to eat there we were able to bring our food up to our rooms. Valet was amazing, kind and worked quick and safely when driving our vehicle. This is officially our hotel for now on when travelling to Montreal. Well done Le Square Phillip Hotel & Suite!! See you in the summer!

Pierre-Luc Maltais: My room is very very large and very clean. There is a full bathroom and a powder room; a full kitchen with pots and utensils; a dining room and a large living room; in addition, there are two very large closed bedrooms. I love the view of the city's tall buildings. The gym is open 24 hours and the rooftop swimming pool on the 10th floor is pretty and practical for taking a dip or a few laps. There is also a roof terrace accessible 24 hours. The hotel is a 2-minute walk from the McGill metro station and close to everything. The lunch buffet was also of good quality and fresh.Rooms: Large, clean and comfortable.

Kati Hof: The hotel was in the middle of the city. Right on the shopping street, close to the sights and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were not noisy. We had a room with a kitchenette and breakfast. I didn't read too many good reviews about the breakfast. But was pleasantly surprised. It was extremely diverse, fruit, muesli, cheeses, sausages, eggs, yoghurt, different types of bread and cakes. The dining room was full between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. but we ate our breakfast in the room. That was the absolute plus. The rooms were very clean, there wasn't a black spot on the silicone joints in the bathroom. The toiletries were pleasant and were replenished daily. We would recommend the hotel 100%. There is also an airport bus from there that goes directly to the terminal for just CAD 11 per person. Person. The journey took about 35 minutes on Saturdays. But cheaper than Uber or taxi. Since we were there in winter, we were happy to have a gym and a pool. Because it was unpleasant outside all day.

Sabraé Boisvert: Really nice and spacious room with a full kitchen. Good location - seemed pretty central. Breakfast was provided by the hotel - it was a bit chaotic and small. Bagels were excellent. Lots of screaming children. Valet was $35 per day and they damaged my ski rack without telling me. I did bring it up to the front desk and they were able to make things right - very happy with their service. Would stay here again!

Dragon X: The hotel looks like from 1920s. Art deco pillars at every corner.

Jeffrey Turner: It is truly an exceptional place. Other hotels should send their employees here for training. Please keep up a good work, and we will keep up staying with you.Rooms: Meticulously clean rooms with fully equipped kitchens.Food & drinks: Excellent breakfast with plenty of choices.
