I teach both mini-groups and indivuduals. I've become very comfortable with breakout-rooms, using only digital teaching materials, and managing my classroom.I had a great experience doing CELTA, and I am a bit nostalgic as I don't have colleagues to talk about teaching ESL as I would if I worked in a regular school. I would gladly participate in more workshops and "reunions" as well as go for another traning session.

lan: Make an appointment on Friday for a physical examination at 9 a.m. the next day. Arrive at 8:55, wait for a while, take photos on site📷, do tests ~ blood, blood pressure, vision, urine, X-ray, see the doctor. The whole journey took 1 hour and was very smooth.

JE JE: Visiting for a week, we had a very pleasant stay. The staff is welcoming, correct and polite. The manager was very understanding and cooperative. The reception hall is warm with its free hot drinks dispenser.Small downside: we would have liked a more varied breakfast.Rooms: Spacious, quiet. Park slope on the squirrels. Cleaned daily.Nearby activities: Close to all amenities.

We left the car parked for a long time.Noteworthy details: Each floor has an ice machine, which made it much easier for us to always have our drinks cold and to be able to take some ice on our trips.

Jim Sammons: Stayed here in April and had a great time. The hotel is in a great location - very close to shopping and food. Loved the restaurant on site - the breakfast was fantastic. We had a Loft Suite room, which was large and fantastic. We would definitely stay here again.Walkability: Easy to walk to everything in downtown Montreal.
Dawn Kirchner: First things first, Montreal is an incredible city. My stay is never long enough. The Renaissance downtown hotel is equally incredible. Beautiful decor, great location, clean, and the staff, from the front desk to the restaurant are exceptional. So friendly, helpful & accommodating. The food is great, too. I only had breakfast at the hotel but the latte and classic pancakes were delicious! Can’t wait to visit Montreal again and I’ll definitely be staying at the Renaissance.

Marysa Lopez: The hotel is simple, it has amenities, the rooms are very small in my opinion, but the location is excellent. The problem is that there is no parking, so you have to use the street, but it is super difficult to find, so you have to go around several times to find a spot. I didn't love the coffee selection, they should have a decaffeinated option.But in general the Service is excellent and the people are very friendly.

Mike H: Stayed for one night a few weeks ago. Very reasonable price. Hotel is very central. Check in was quick and easy and the person assisting us was helpful and courteous. We received a complimentary upgrade to 2 queen room from 2 double. Room was quiet, spacious and clean, beds and pillows very comfortable, wifi quick, and shower hot. Nice sized fitness room on main floor close to reception area, so daughter felt safe while using it in evening. They directed us to parking garage the next street over for $18 overnight, which we felt was reasonable considering the location. No breakfast included, but there is a Cora's right next door. Would definitely stay here again, in the future.

Nick Fortin: It's good, our room was clean and the beds comfortable. We couldn't see anything outside because of the fog. The continental breakfast is very good and complete: toast, cereal, oatmeal, waffles, fruit, etc. negative point: the limited parking space and the price of $30. In addition, since we had a minivan, we had one of the 4 spaces in the back alley, without any guarantee. We were warned not to leave anything inside...in short, go and park at UQAM opposite.

Great stay if you're down to explore the city! Would recommend staying here.

Meeting rooms were as expected for a large hotel.The guest room layout consists of several towers and levels - requiring the use of escalators and various elevators. Some of the attendees were in different towers.The bar was great at night for connecting.The second floor where we had our cocktail party was super hot …. Too warm for mixing up a hundred people.The escalator was down for one day. Nice to have it fixed second day.Beds were comfortable and I loved the duvet.

And it only got better as the time went on. From Irene at the front desk to Guillaume in the Palm Court bar/restaurant, everyone was exemplary at their job and went above and beyond.As grand as this over-a-century-old building is, the rooms are fresh, contemporary and state-of-the-art. They feel individual and personal, with none of the cookie-cutter quality that even top luxury chains are falling prey to these days.I can’t recommend this hotel enough — it is truly one of the most special places we have stayed.Safety: Security is excellent. You need a hotel key to access the elevator and the key only provides access to your floor.Food & drinks: Try the RC cocktail at the Palm Court! It’s next level

Weronika Patena: Fantastic one-person room! Had everything I needed with no wasted space, a comfy bed, a nice private bathroom, room for my stuff. I always dislike having to get a big room with a queen bed when I'm traveling on my own, and I liked seeing a more efficient option. Very quiet, clean and modern, easy check-in, tasty breakfast, great inexpensive place, I'd definitely stay here again.

The website where I booked the hotel said check-in was not available after 12 midnight, but they were still working to get me a room.The breakfast is adequate but not fancy. However, they have a pancake machine, which is especially fun for kids. It’s served 7-10am and they even restock at 955am.My room was on the first floor, which was noisy. You may want to pack earplugs or request a quiet room. I happened to visit when they were pretty full, so the options were limited.Workers are bilingual so English and French are no problem. They have a coffee machine available 24/7 so you can get a drink when you need it.The location is super convenient, near the 747 bus dropoff, subway and gay village. I would consider staying here again.
