I teach both mini-groups and indivuduals. I've become very comfortable with breakout-rooms, using only digital teaching materials, and managing my classroom.I had a great experience doing CELTA, and I am a bit nostalgic as I don't have colleagues to talk about teaching ESL as I would if I worked in a regular school. I would gladly participate in more workshops and "reunions" as well as go for another traning session.

The school promised to refund the tuition and most of the fees if this happened and we received the refund as promised. I had a great experience at CLC - smart teachers that gave encouraging attention to each student, very small class sizes, a friendly, energized, and professional environment, and virtually no stress… The structure felt very well thought out - the schedule of classes was ideal for staying alert and attentive… It's nothing like the language classes I took in high school…
The classes are oriented towards speaking, everyday situations, for you to feel confident in your everyday activities… groups are small and that is perfect for rapid advancement…
CLC makes learning French fun and I never thought I would have the confidence to speak and connect with people using a completely different language…
Terrific school and staff. I took a one week intensive french class and really got a lot out of it. The classes are structured in a way that gives a lot of time to speaking as well as learning grammar and vocabulary… There is a nice continuity between classes so what you learn in one class, you practice in the next… I got some very good tips for how to continue my French practice outside of the class and some good tips for how to accelerate my learning path… very supportive and clear in their communication and teaching…
In the past I've had difficulty getting on with more traditional language learning, so CLC was perfect for me as the style of teaching is very laid back, modern and informal… The teachers were all so enthusiastic and encouraging, and the atmosphere in the school is ridiculously welcoming and relaxed…
I was used to the more traditional teaching methods common in Europe and was delighted by the conversation and interaction based curriculum at CLC… It was a confidence boosting and liberating experience...
The 45min format of classes was great for keeping my attention and the change of teachers for each class means you don’t get used to one accent…
I love that the classes are structured (one unit of composition, one unit of grammar, one unit of conversation) but not TOO structured… This makes the learning process a lot more fun, which is important for someone like me who doesn't thrive in a tedious classroom environment that's 100% grammar focused.
Our classes emphasized speaking, and I could see my own "shyness" about speaking gradually fade with time… Teachers were interested in our education and were always very sensitive as they developed our language skills… They took notes everyday on each student, which aided individual progress…
Both the methodology and its implementation at CLC are superior to anything I've ever experienced in college or at the Alliance Francaise… They maintain a strong emphasis on speaking and listening that diminishes bashfulness and brings out the best, friendliest, most lucid version of every student...

I was really impressed by 1) the overall teaching philosophy and 2) the infinite patience of their teachers. If you only learned a foreign language the old fashioned, classroom-based way and as a result hated the experience, CLC's methods and atmosphere will come as a (good) shock to you. At first, I felt thrown into the deep end because my French is still at the very beginning level. However, CLC's teachers are supportive, patient and kind, and the language learning approach is very communicative.
The school is run very professionally and all interactions with them were smooth and easy. The teachers are committed and knowledgeable - not just about the languages they teach, but about how to teach and learn languages. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Laura Hoyos: speaker. School is always clean and the class is practical and guided, with a fresh teaching perspective far away from only filling a book. You can find a cafeteria that sells some products, some fridges were you can store your meals, coffee machines, microwaves and so on. I go to 6pm classes as I work on a full time job and have not many options. I can say I enjoy and wait anxiously to go to class and learn. Thank you so very much!

Professional help from the staff makes the review process much less stressful. Even on my first visit, the feeling of nervousness was replaced by a relaxed atmosphere, and people are always ready to support and joke. The presence of a coffee machine allows you to take a short break between tests and enjoy a cup of coffee, which helps to concentrate and recharge your batteries. In summary, I was extremely satisfied with the entire process of taking the exam, and now I can only look forward to the results.

Since I am an advanced french speaker, I did not find the group tutoring to be that useful as they had students with different levels of fluency. There are aways one or two students who are reticent to express themselves; Thomas got them involved and encouraged them to see themselves as French speakers. Even while our classes were online due to COVID, Thomas was very accommodating and provided verbal and visual means so that it was easy to keep up and follow along in the class. No matter what stage in your learning you’re at, Thomas does a great job at lifting people up with light humour and encouragement.There’s no escaping the hard work if you want to learn French , but Thomas sure helped make the process lot more fun and engaging!!!

The class was very interactive and the homework assignments enforced what I learned that day. Thomas being a native French, he even taught us the difference between French and Canadian French, which was very helpful for me for many practical reasons. Salomon L.: The school is great, if you take a second look at the negative reviews you’ll find they all got one thing in common. Cant/wont say what it is but you can take a guess. Those negative reviews really don’t reflect the school. Ive found myself thoroughly enjoying the cloud computing course, maybe Id say I wish it was at a faster pace but thats not a big deal.Major shout out to German and Aldo, the best teachers you could ask for in an i.t field where personality and charisma often lacks.

The gym is clean AF, we're talking cleaned mats and walls between classes, people bringing a change of clothes when doing multiple classes, showers and even deodorant for everyone who needs it.Coach David has created a small place with everything you need, great instruction, endless potential and a positive, yet organized and disciplined place. It' for fighters, hobbyists and martial art enthusiasts. I cannot say enough great things about this gym.

Olga Rozin: At first I was really nervous because I have zero background in martial arts. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone a little and try something different but I wasn't too sure what to expect. I signed up for the Jujitsu class and ended up loving it! It's fun and a great workout too. I also have to say that I was wondering how it would go cause there are generally more men in these classes and I'm obviously not that strong, but David always finds ways to accomodate me and make it work. So if you're a woman and you're wondering if you should try this don't hesitate, I'm glad I did. Def recommend!
