julia izhevska: At work, my knee hurt after an injury. I had to go to the Santé Mont-Royal Hospital. I was worried that my limited knowledge of languages would be a big problem. But, thanks to the employee who was on shift at 22.30 on May 7, everything went surprisingly easily and quickly. Many thanks to her! Unfortunately, I don’t know her name, but thank you very much! She even made an appointment to the hospital to see a doctor the next day, so as not to wait 10 hours for a doctor’s appointment here. Thank you very much that there are such people!

Knowing that before going to the Jewish, I went to the Jean Talon hospital and I was warned of a 9-hour wait. All the nurses who took care of me were incredibly caring and attentive. Everyone was nice to me and kind. Thanks to the doctor on duty for taking my case seriously and demanding all possible tests. I had a lot of tests including a CT scan, all quickly. The nurse told me that it wasn’t worth for me to wait here all night as my urgency wasn’t as urgent as others but still needed a check up quick. She gave me an appointment to a clinicNear my house the next day. I waited 30min for the lady at enregistrement to call me but didn’t so I just went up to her and asked kindly and she did my appointments on the spot. I know sometimes it can be long but surprisingly I was served pretty fast and kindly. Glory to God.

Scorchy: I was briefly hospitalized there a few years back when I was 17 and it was an amazing hospital, everything was new and fancy, the staff was nice and understanding. The room I was put in was so big and not shared with anyone else. Probably the best hospital I've seen in Quebec. The only issue was the mediocre hospital food, otherwise it's a very nice environnement to help someone feel at ease and heal properly.

Janet Ramsay: I am writing this on behalf of a friend, DD, an 80 yr old gentleman who received care at the hospital on March 14th 2024. He had fallen and incurred a head injury requiring a CT scan, referred by the Royal Victoria hospital. He was asked which MD would follow up and said he did not know. He was told “someone would contact him”. Concerned about this, he went to the Emergency dept and took number 34 and was soon seen by the nurse at the desk. He explained his situation to her and she said “this is not right, I’m going to find the answer for you”. She took his B/P, temp, O2sats and then gave him a referral sheet with an appt for a specialist. He was beyond grateful for this nurse who went over and above to help him with kindness and compassion. Her name was Nurse Colombo, and the Montreal General is very fortunate to have such a caring, efficient and kind employee. DD wants to thank her!

They really have a way with the kids and that makes all the difference.For specialized services, it may vary, but in general the service is fast.Indoor parking is well designed and well signposted.The food in the cafeteria is good and the choices varied, pleasant when you stay there for several hours.Definitely the hospital I prioritize when my children are sick, even if further away than our area hospital.

A: I will never forget the experience I had in this hospital. My 80-year-old dad was transferred to this hospital after having such a bad experience with.CITE DE LA SANTE. Unfortunately, my dad spent three weeks in the coronary unit at this disgusting hospital until I demanded that they transfer him to INSTITUTE DE CARDIOLOGY. On April 25, he was transferred and from the moment I stepped Foot in the hospital, it was such an amazing experience! From the doctors, to the nurses, to the caregivers, it was all such a positive experience. Unfortunately, my father did not make it, but I That they did everything possible for him to survive, but unfortunately, due to the fact that he had a heart attack and a very bad valve, there was nothing they could’ve done more. If you or your loved ones have any issue please do not go anywhere else, but this hospital. They are number one in my book. I can assure you that they will take care of your loved ones as though it was theirs. I want to give a special thanks to nurse TAMARRA Who was absolutely incredible. She really took care of my father. Even in his last minute of his life, he thanked her for such a great job. Hospitals in the public sector should all take notes Regarding how a hospital should really be like.

Certainly, the organization is not always at the top, but since I have used the health services here in Quebec, I have noticed that this point is not a strong point everywhere, so I expected it. On the other hand, I congratulate the team of nurses and workers who supported me during my treatment. I found empathy in our discussions, kindness during the consultations. I felt surrounded by a passionate team who always welcomed me. I had the same treatment in France, and therefore I have references which allow me to say that I am very satisfied with the care I was given. I haven't seen Dr. REINBLATT much, but I think that's normal. The important thing is that the team communicates with each other and that we transmit the right information. robert kazan: I prefer to wait more there but be seen by the doctors I have always had a chance to see. starting from the residents, through the senior residents and all the rest, all very polite, professional, never rush when they finally are with you, I always felt comforted there and finally being taken care of and have all the questions answered. They never refuse their help whatever problem you come with, you might just wait long when your thing is less urgent and there are more urgent patients. One doctor thought I had a kidney infection and the other thought I was passing a kidney stone so I got treated for both and something worked. It was slow but they seemed understaffed and they were trying their best to be attentive, everyone was kind and did their job well when I had them, but they didn’t come often. If you can wait a little go first thing in the morning instead of at night or you won’t get any sleep. Also if they say you can move around with the IV in your arm do not move around much, I didn’t know that and my arm is still swollen. Overall the staff themselves are great but the number of staff isn't enough, it’s stressful for everyone, so please be polite to them if you can they are trying.
