Miss Y: Dr. Neal Mahutte and Dr. Ouhilal are rare gems! I've been trying to get pregnant for over 3 years with other clinics, without success. I had a first meeting with Dr. Ouhilal, she was the one who chose the treatment, the medications and the dosage. I can tell you that she was not mistaken and gave me treatment adapted to my situation. Afterwards I continued the ultrasounds, the egg collection and the transfer with Dr. Mahutte. From the first visit I immediately felt that I was in good hands, this man inspires confidence. He is so kind, patient and reassuring, but above all very competent, just like his partner. We did 1 cycle of IVF with him and I got pregnant on the first try of the first transfer. A miracle. Many thanks Dr. Mahutte and Dr. Ouhilal for everything you have done for me and my partner, we will be grateful to you for life and we will recommend you to other couples with our eyes closed ❤️. Thanks also to Bonnie and all the staff, you are an outstanding team.

They truly get to know you and guide you every step of the way. They are kind and caring and genuinely are experts in their field. I was constantly encouraged, I was always taken care of. I was never rushed and they let me go at my own pace. I’ve sent a few friends to this clinic and like myself we were all successful at starting our family. Janet Ramsay: I am writing this on behalf of a friend, DD, an 80 yr old gentleman who received care at the hospital on March 14th 2024. He had fallen and incurred a head injury requiring a CT scan, referred by the Royal Victoria hospital. He was asked which MD would follow up and said he did not know. He was told “someone would contact him”. Concerned about this, he went to the Emergency dept and took number 34 and was soon seen by the nurse at the desk. He explained his situation to her and she said “this is not right, I’m going to find the answer for you”. She took his B/P, temp, O2sats and then gave him a referral sheet with an appt for a specialist. He was beyond grateful for this nurse who went over and above to help him with kindness and compassion. Her name was Nurse Colombo, and the Montreal General is very fortunate to have such a caring, efficient and kind employee. DD wants to thank her!

Chris G: The medical specialist clinic on the 5th floor is truly excellent, the reception staff went out of their way to help me and I was able to see the specialist I needed promptly, despite the confusion caused by a referral that was lost in transit. I was fully expecting and prepared to wait or deal with some technical issues, but it was all handled very smoothly. They know how to run a clinic and they care about the people who come to them.
Kshitiz: was exceptional. And everywhere we looked, I saw the staff being very kind and pleasant making it comfortable for patients, who would otherwise be very nervous.All good things to say about the place. I was surprised to see so many negative reviews, we went in expecting the same. But our experience was on the contrary.Appointment was on time, barely a minute wait.Would highly recommend for urgent care!

Astrid Hammermeister: Dr Paul Tabet was very patient when listening and answering question. I was getting a "cord goes deep in your nose" test, and he was kind and understanding about that difficulty and my discomfort.A lot of medical workers get annoyed or angry if you spazz out or can't relax during an uncomfortable or painful procedure, and instead he reassured me that I was doing well, and to me that's going above and beyond.Outside of that, the clinic was uncomfortable loud, which clashed horribly with the low quality speakers that announced which patient should go to which room.
NM: , and also you can only cancel/reschedule an appointment by calling at least 2 days before the scheduled appointment so that you don't pay the cancellation fee. Whereas you can confirm your appointment in the automatic appointment reminder email that they send you the week of your appointment, however, you can't cancel your appointment through that email/online confirmation link -- I hope they can change this, so that there is no need to call and wait on the phone for a while in order to cancel/reschedule an appointment.
