Đào Thế Hoàng: A very beautiful church located next to the Edton area, a famous shopping area of Montreal. The church is a quite special architecture. A H: still you hv to wait in line to enter ….and it was crowded inside as well… I can’t imagine how much crowded it would be on Sundays😵‍💫.It was quite surprising to see people not respecting the place and not following rules of being quite and giving space to others .The visiting time and day are imperative to consider once booking the ticket. We were mesmerized by the interior once we stepped in …couldn’t believe my eyes .Being at original St. Peter at Vatican recently , I would say this chapel has a very different wow factor .The wooden decorations were rich and intricate, but the most interesting part was the deep blue color used in the ceilings and altar vaults. The dim lighting and the details are astonishing.Toilets are located behind the altar and despite the turnover were quite clean . This chapel is air conditioned so it was good to sit for quite some time on a hot summer day.FYI: pamphlet at thd entrance to hv in-depth knowledge about the chapel or a guided tour .

Duc C. Nguyên: St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1961 by Dimitri DimakopoulosThe Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Saint George in Montreal was founded during the post-World War II growth of the Greek community in the city. Architect Dimitri Dimakopoulos designed the cathedral, incorporating elements of Orthodox architectural tradition, such as a central dome, while firmly placing the building in modernity through the use of materials like raw concrete and glass, as well as modern construction techniques.
