Alternative Hostel of Old Montreal: what do users think?

Airsawat Sawatdang: from other guests. Not a hostel’s fault.I recommend this hostel.

Hólmfríður Ásbjarnardóttir: .Very priceworthy. My only suggestion would be that they need to oil the hinges on the doors. 😂 the whole building hears when a door is opened on the top floor.Would give 5 stars if it was more accessible for people with disabilities.

Kiera Hutton: you can't cook or have alcohol, so there won't be loud parties going on all night. There were absolutely no issues of people being loud or disruptive in the night when I was there

Christoph Janiak: Since real hotels in Montreal are very expensive, an auberge is a good alternative if you don't need a bathroom in the room. The Auberge alternative is well organized and clean.Walkability: Right in the middle of Old Montreal. Subway can be reached in about 7 minutes on foot.

J. Ward: .This experience was about “value”, however there was much more to be gotten from this hidden gem- and I found this in the hearts of the staff.Their desire to ensure the needs of the occupants were met with the utmost care -was the “real” highlight of my experience .It was a new concept of “luxury”that I came to understand- their genuine interest in my “wellbeing” and also of the occupants there.I obtained access to Grande Bibliothèque de BAnQ, which is 5 min walk from the location- I cannot express the value of this resource!!I was able to get a library card which allowed me free access to all amenities, which included practicing piano for 2 hrs

みみい: . Fluffy like new. You can't get it unless you tell the front desk yourself. I didn't know at first. No face towel size available. The nearest station, Berry Ukam, is a large hub station with about 4 exits, each with a completely different atmosphere. The park near the inn was deserted.

Evan Walters: the Beds have curtains, so if someone turns on the light while you sleep it doesn't impact you so much.2

John W. Creasy: are awesome.Safety: Safe locationFood & drinks: Great drinks

Pablo Richard: very well located in the city, not very far from Mount Royal, Sherbrooke station and a pretty neighborhood. The free lunch is delicious! The room prices are very reasonable. Very nice experience!

Lucas Corfou: I stayed 3 days in a collective dormitory, for the price the room is great! The hostel is ideally located, an 8-minute walk from the plateau and 3 minutes from the metro. The team is adorable and always ready to give advice for discovering Montreal! The breakfast is fantastic, I recommend 100%.

Charlie: the premises and bathrooms are clean, the employees are adorable it is our stopping point whenever we have to spend a night in Montreal, following our recommendations three of my friends also came there and it was unanimously approved!!

Maureen Smothers: were cordial and extremely Professional and helpful. I stayed only 5 days in the Auberge du Plateau Hostel in Montreal, Canada but, I pray that I am able to return soon. This establishment is financially reasonable and an enjoyable, safe place to stay. Thanks to all concerned.Rooms: The rooms are clean and comfortable to rest and sleep in.Walkability: Most of the Restaurants are within walking distance and the Eaton Centre Mall is a short bus 🚌 ride away from the Hostel.

Ariane Senécal: and it's not for nothing that we wanted to go back! Welcoming service, clean and well-maintained premises, delicious breakfast

**: !Walkability: Top Tier Walkability Score : Close to so many locations.

Auberge Saint-Paul Hostel: what do users think?

J. C.: The best hostel in town. Well kept and very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Trevor is a treasure for the hostel. He loves his job and always has time for anyone who needs some guidance about traveling in Montreal. He is extremely knowledgeable about the parks and public transportation system.I like the kitchen and dining area and the lounge a lot. It is very bright and sunny on fine days. In the early morning, you can see the lovely birds on the trees outside the window. And you can always find a place to sit down and enjoy your meals. The location is excellent, with easy access to the metro and buses and downtown. Also, if you’re looking to meet interesting people from different parts of the world, you have come to the right place. It may even cheer you up and bring good fortune in your life .Highly recommend it!

Balázs Németh: .But like I said, generally nothing to complain about. Great location and good service.

Apôtre Yves: Professional Services, pleasant soft, decent and clean, good atmosphere with people of all nationalities.#OldPort #Bonsecours Market #Mtl#514 #438

Seamus Buckley: Our stay was overall great! Extremely easy check in and arrival with staff available 24/7. Great location in Old Montreal with easy walkable access to the rest of Old Montreal and downtown. Very very good price for the area. The hostel boasted plenty of facilities such as a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, plenty of showers, and bathrooms, all of which were clean and organized. Quiet hours starting at 11:30 which was very reasonable. The bedrooms had plenty of people in them but plenty of space, they definitely didn't feel too crowded. Everyone was very friendly. Overall, it was extremely nice and even still came at a very very low price. I would highly recommend.

Arnaud Boucher: The hostel is very good for a short stay on an affordable budget. The common room is warm, the staff is friendly. The rooms are quite noisy, particularly because of the ventilation. A blanket would be welcome in addition to the bedding.Safety: Digicode at the entrance

Gabriel De Combe: for the leaving room !

nisa nisa: I felt very comfortable... It was clean and very cute...

Sean Wilson: Great space, no pack-sized lockers though

Hemp Mountain Industries: One of my absolute favorite experiences of Montreal was staying here and interacting with the people, choosing to shower outdoors it's a thing and eating those awesome pancake breakfasts :D top notch staff as well. Only thing... where's the hotub time machine yo!?

Thibaut Pialat: Great place, well placed, good welcome. Nice pancakes in the morning!

Suzanne Pialat: Very nice house. Decent service and fresh pancakes for breakfast, a treat!

Marcos Bicocchi: All the best

Alexandre Effling: Excellent HostelToo bad it is only open 2 months a year.Brilliant nonetheless!

Sharon Fleming: This hostel is great if you're looking for a quieter, more friend and family vibe. The outdoor areas are super and outdoor shower is #1!! The staff are all awesome, friendly and helpful. A top hostel in Montreal with one of the lowest prices. Would stay again for sure.

Alexandre Tran: we get along really well.Shout out to Steve who was a great volunteer! ;

Adhiraj Jagota: Walkability: Located very close to St. Laurent Blvd. which is a very happening street.

klarisse: , get to know the area

Risse Maxime: Very good youth hostel which fulfills its role perfectly. It stands out for its more than competitive price as well as its warm atmosphere. However, I do not recommend it to people who are sensitive to comfort, the place is clean but the furniture is no longer in its youth. Ideal if you are traveling light, as you won't have much space to leave your suitcases in the room.Thank you once again to the hostel team who were very welcoming and accommodating.

Leonard Zelichow: This is a unique place with its warm atmosphere and its magic in bringing people together.Thank you to all the people with long stays or short stays who bring this hostel to life and for the experience they allowed me to have there. At Jean, myth or reality? For my part the answer is clear!

Arnaud Larquet: Chez Jean, is a hostel. There is no special service. Breakfast. But you do it in the kitchen. It is not a place for the squeamish, it is not entirely clean, neither the rooms nor the bathrooms. It's not that it's dirty either, but it is tacky. The bedding yes.But it is a special place. There are people from all over. You are talking with some, with others. It's really very SPANISH AUBERGE. Very hippy, backpacker.

Sofiia- Gymnast: Very welcoming and warm!
