On the other hand, she has lived there for the last few years and I can tell you that the moments she is spending now are some of the most beautiful in a long time!!! Calm and well surrounded!!! Teresa Attallah: Very good residence. My mother stayed there for 7 years. She was independent at the beginning and she lost her autonomy over time. They adapt to the needs of residents. The atmosphere is very family-friendly and the food is good. They serve balanced meals with good snacks.

Mike Guiragossian: We decided to rent an apartment for our mother at Manoir Gouin as we received a warm welcome from Ms. Fanny Ruest, the leasing agent, a detailed tour of the premises and a clear explanation of the services offered and the related fees. Ms. Ruest took the time to show us several apartments and explained the different features. The building was clean and the staff friendly. We are convinced that our mother will be happy and well cared for her during her stay there.

Sophie Raemdonck: If you have an issue, be sure to take it up with Lisa right away. She will work with you to find a solution. Leaving a message with the reception isn't an efficient problem solving strategy. I believe this is simply because of the demanding work load this department has to juggle.The superintendant is fantastic.If you call for plumbing or for an appartment fix up, it is incredibly quick and friendly.Stephanie in rentals is lovely and trustworthy.
Michael Sensenstein: My mom just moved here, so far so good but the main complaint from people is that there are only 2 elevators serving a 12 story building. and when 1 elevator is broken which apparently happens frequently, its quite frustrating.

Speaking of Entertainment, it is usually good, ranging from excellent down to well... maybe they should have stayed alonesinging in their shower. . but the residents love it.. I enjoyed accompanying my mother to sever concerts where they offer coffee and DELICIOUS cookies... In terms of food, it is typical institutional food.. a bit uneven in quality and taste .. and most residents i spoke with sort of give me 'that look' if i ask them if they enjoy the food. One thing i would say for the ECW

Dina Vincelli: My sister and I placed our Mom at the Residence in December 2022. We are both very pleased with the Residence. The staff is always friendly and attentive and most importantly very respectful to not only my sister and I, but of course most importantly to our precious Mom. Every time my sister and I visit and leave the residence, we do so with great piece of mind that our Mom is being extremely well taken care of. The residence’s owner Karen and her son Shaheed are always available to answer and tend to any of our queries and concerns about our Mom. Sheppard and James is A-1 in every way.
Tania Vincelli: I can’t say enough about this residency. They are amazing. The care givers are experienced and actually care about my mother. The administration team is efficient and is extremely helpful. I throughly recommend them.
Cornelia Kupfer Pontow: I highly commend Sheppard and James fir their professionalism and commitment to providing a safe, warm and caring environment for their residents. Their amazing staff is fully engaged, compassionate and very kind and are a credit to their profession. We, as family were always welcomed as well and had peace of mind knowing our mom was well looked after.As an anecdote, when our mom once was driven to the hospital via ambulance, the paramedics were commenting about the cleanliness and how well organized the staff were. We couldn't say enough positive things about Sheppard and James.

Leona Fields: My mom has been living here for more than a year and a half and she is doing great! The caregivers are all very kind, friendly and well trained. She has dementia so doesn't really know what's going on or where she is, but always uses positive words to explain how she's doing when I talk to her. This has been a very safe place for her throughout the COVID pandemic.
