They are so patient with teaching dance, they encourage you to build and maintain your confidence, and most importantly they are genuine and it is so much fun!!!There is a great variety of dancing: fox trot, rumba, samba, the waltz, cha cha, salsa, swing, bachata and so much more! Vero B: My friend and I, we're both from south shore. We have been looking for a place to dance and this place was perfect. Cheap, big place and amazing teachers.I ended up signing up to the hip hop session. It's definitely a very intense work out. It works on your cardio and overall muscle strength. If you want a challenge and you want to step out of your comfort zone by pushing your limits definitely give this class a chance. Every single class, you're constantly learning something new.Shauna and Mel are very good teachers. Despite having the time constraint, they will always take the time to make sure you understand the moves, and they give you tips.I've been serious about getting better so I also do Open Space a lot. It's very cheap, and I try to come as much as I can. For the past few weeks, I've been coming here to practice. It has become my second home. Literally, and every time I've come here both Mel and Shauna have been super welcoming.Make sure to check out their website and their social media for more information!

The receptionist doesn't know it, but that's my new BFF. Bright clean, excellent equipment. Washable hand towel and water provided. I think I came across a class of young people in professional training, only beginners in the evening. The team is ready. No, but I, GEN X, wondered when the apocalyptic atmosphere of globalization would calm down and return to customer service as before. I am moved by it. I'm going to give them my CV, but it's clear that I'm a light client. Bravo but just bravo!

Especially Konstantin, who is world-class and really took the time to adjust a dance that was beautiful and comfortable for us to do in a short time. K: Great improv school with the Thursday show included with class tuition. $15 well spent for a fun night out with a solid crowd.

Sophie Crichton: My daughter of 4yrs has been attending the Saturday morning Ballet class at Variations since September. She absolutely loves it! Katherine is a fantastic teacher and offers a class filled with fun. Children learn the classic steps in an innovative and collaborative way with use of varied music and props. My daughter was a little shy to start but was made at ease instantly by Katherine's warm nature. The studio is bright and offers plenty of space to run around too!

Mehran Islam: I love this place and it's one of the coolest dance studios I've ever been to and known!! So for anybody who wants to try out some of their dance classes based on different styles, you should give it a shot. Oh and let's not forget about the great dance teachers that have and they are pretty friendly too! I can't wait to come back soon 🙏

Shannon Cui: I’ve taken 3 classes here now with Rani who teaches heels and jazz funk. She is an amazing instructor, always lively, engaging and fun. Class feels very inclusive with people of all levels. And there are different levels too which helped since I took beginner heels classes and I never did heels before.

Yiyuan Zhang: Formal school, teachers are very nice. Waiting room for parents is big and comfortable.
Laurence Potvin: Ballet Montreal is a great ballet school but also a great dance school. The teachers are very qualified and passionate. The artistic director of that school is probably the best teacher I’ve ever met in all my years of dancing. She cares like nobody would. She will make sure that everybody have the same opportunities and get to dance to the best of their habilities. If you tell her that you have a dream, she will make sure to honour it. She will never hold a grudge against her students, even on the harder days. She always shows up her for her students and tries to find ways to make them achieve what they are capable of. She will always tell you the truth so you can improve. At the end of the day, she doesn’t do it for herself but for all her students, to make sure they are proud of themselves. Every year she kills herself putting on a real ballet show from the classical repertoire. Having the chance to be part of those shows is something that I will carry and cherish my entire life because it teaches you so much more than just dance. Nobody trully sees what has to be done behind the scene to put on those kind of shows. Those shows could be compared to profesionnal shows. Every year she does a different one. That means different costumes, different sets, different lighting, different cast, different choreographies… And every year she does it. She does it so her students can be stimulated and experience the stage so they are ready for the professional world. She arrives at the studio early in the morning and will stay late at night to make sure everything that has to be ready is. She doesn’t count her hours and she will make sure every details is covered so it is as perfect as it can be. It is easy to point out what is not working and complain about things. However, with the show coming up, I think it’s very important to appreciate and be grateful for all the work, effort and passion that Paula does for her school and her students.
Devi Raboseta: Great school, love their classes. Teachers are very competent. I tried Ballet Ouest for adults a few times but teachers for adults there are not good.

Anastasia: Exceptional dance school in Montreal! Very high level of technique and the teachers are very qualified. I came back to this school after the very top professional schools in Canada, because I did not feel the same level of passion and care towards ballet from any other place than this school, hence why I believe this school is what is best for me and anyone aspiring to make it far in this wonderful art.
