Gabby helped me see that their undesirable behaviour such as barking and jumping up was basically due to me letting things slide. His training gives good structure. Our dogs are our responsibility.
I have to dobermans and Gaby's dog training courses were a godsend. He does an excellent job boarding 2 of them when I am out of town. I would recommend Gaby to anybody. Keep up the good work.
It's 100$/h for private lessons but it's worth it (big time). We had a problem dog and Mr. Popper made a huge difference for us a couple years ago. I think writing a 5-star review on Google should be the best way to say thank you today. I hope you are doing well Mr. Popper!
Aby Popper is also very responsive to calls and texts if a new concern ever comes up. We would highly recommend Gaby Popper and his Montreal Dog Training School. He is worth every penny! AS Gaby said, dont forget to do your homework so your dog can actually get use to the routine and improve its behaviour every day.
Within the first two sessions (with working with Sammy in between) we already had a remarkable improvement. He does not jump up on people anymore and waits by the door when someone comes to visit and is following commands really well. Overall, he is a really well behaved and happy dog! The in-home training was extremely convenient, and was better for us to know how to act in our regular environment.
Our dog developed a serious behaviour problem a few months after we adopted him. He starting guarding certain items such as food bowls, and he was getting aggressive when playing or even to cut his nails. We started to think we were in over our heads. The goal was to find a professional trainer who could not only fix the problem but to manage and prevent serious problems in the future.
Gaby Popper has been working with our mutt, Blue (Shepherd & Weimaraner mix), since the day after we adopted her at eight weeks. Immediately, Gaby established a strong bond with Blue, with a firm, gentle hand and a loving manner -- a bond that is just as strong four years later.

christine pickrell: I'm shocked to read bad reviews about Gaby Popper......he helped me train our puppy and if you do what he says your dog will be amazing. Our dog now at 18 months will no go off sidewalk until I give him a signal. He walks right beside me off or on lease. Waits for me when to go though front door before him. He never barks when doorbell rings or people come to door. I believe if you listen to Gaby's experience you will have a great dog. He also trained my cousins puppy and they loved Gaby too.

I came home with a dog whose anxiety was gone when he was around dogs and now it's a thing of the past! I worked with Louis-Marc for about 1 x week in day care to socialize Oscar in a safe way and also to restore my confidence in him and in myself. It’s an extremely enriching experience if you take the time to see with their eyes and try to speak their language. The center respects the dog and the owner at all times. I thank Louis-Marc and the team of daycare educators for their openness towards me and their patience with my dog.

Well, how generous of him to have explained to me the reason and how to help now. andrew andraos: Perfect place to train your dog. Carl and Alain are very professional and manage the dogs well. We boarded our 2 year old German Shepherd, Sky, with them for 3 months. They take very good care of him; they train him, walk him, feed him and socialize him with other dogs. Sky became calmer and more obedient thanks to them. Additionally, the team is friendly and answers our calls. I recommend !

Robert Quintal: We have just completed six months of training with Sébastien Larabée for our Portuguese Water Dog and I cannot be complimentary enough of the work carried out by Sébastien with Rosie... and her masters. From a very excited young puppy who devoured the armchairs in the living room, Bravo Fido turned her into a young female of almost 11 months who is comfortable in her skin and who listens to instructions, even if the training was done by Zoom . The positive reinforcement approach advocated by Sébastien assures us that the good manners and good behaviors adopted by Rosie have been integrated in the right way and for life. There is no question here of coercion or a punitive approach. Sébastien's immense knowledge of dog behavior also allowed us to understand why our dog could behave or act in a certain way in certain circumstances. We now have a dog that Sébastien has taught us to know and understand. And Rosie has masters equipped to support her in her apprenticeship as a young puppy. These six months of training were the best investment we could have made. Huge thanks to Sébastien and Bravo Fido.

Lisa CHRISTENSEN: We adopted a stray dog that honestly, the vet suggested to put down because the dog was reactive and filled with anxiety. I didn’t want to give up on this guy and then Bravo Fido was suggested to us. I was sceptical of online training at first but after the first session online with Jennifer, we were sold. She was able to understand the dog’s behaviour by watching us handle him and put us on a training plan that works, online sessions are fantastic. Together, this stray dog is well on his way to a happy forever home. Jennifer definitely deserves the 5 stars.

Frederique Jennings: We could not be happier for choosing Sébastien to support us as new puppy owners.His progressive and structured puppy program has been more than useful to us, and allows us to raise a puppy that is well adjusted to its environment.When getting our puppy in the midst of this pandemic, we knew we wanted to have some professional support, but we also wanted to keep everyone safe.The way Bravo Fido has been able to switch to a virtual solution is terrific, and we are not sure that we could have had a better training in person.Each Zoom session is a breeze, and the fact that we can watch a recording of it is amazing to keep up when not everyone is available.It shows that when the trainer is good, that he masters his program, no matter what the way the class is being taught!

Marc Lemieux: Went to Studio Paws for the first time after it was recommended by a dog breeder. Our one year old Norwich Terrier needed to be hand stripped for the first time and not many people have the proper experience to do this. Groomer Plinio has many years of experience stripping dogs and even teaches the technique. He did a wonderful job and even though our dog is usually nervous she was just fine and happy when we picked her up an hour later. She looked amazing and you should have seen how much hair was removed! All the staff were very pleasant and I would highly recommend Studio Paws if you have a dog breed that requires hand stripping. I will be returning on a regular basis.
