She was not a person who accepted help easily as she was a caregiver her whole life she had difficulty receiving help.That said, the people at TheKey / Home Care where amazing, matching my aunt with caregivers that were such amazing people that my aunt accepted the help right away. Because of this we were able to keep her in her apartment all the way until her passing, which was her wish. They took excellent care of her and my aunt and us felt like they were part of the family.The administration at theKey / Home Care were alway super amazing and easy to work with. I dealt mostly with them and they alway came thru so that my aunt never was missing of anything. When she was admitted into the hospital and we needed to have 24/7 care because of her dementia, they were able within 30 minutes to arrange it. Wow, we were blown away how with no notice they were able to turn around and have a care giver with her 24 hours a day. It allowed us to work and prepare her apartment for her new needs as she needed constant care and the people at The Key / Home Care where simply amazing. It made it so much easier for us.I highly recommend them, not only is there service great, but the people there are some of the most competent and nicest people to deal with. Tara Neal: I would not hesitate to leave a loved one under Petra's care. She is kind, caring and compassionate.
J Kalil: I reached out to Helpers Care to get help for my father who was in hospital for several months. I live 200km away and could not see him everyday. The hospitals do not have the staff to pay proper attention to patients who are there for a length of time. Petra helped me find someone who would visit with him, interact with him, converse with him and help him. My father thought the care worker was great company and I noticed an improvement in his overall well being and cognitive state during the times that we had scheduled her. Petra was also very helpful in finding the right person and giving me tips on how to navigate the hospital and CLSC which can be challenging at times. She followed up regularly and listened to what the situation was and what our needs were. I would use the services of Helpers Care again if needed without hesitation.

Sophie Raemdonck: If you have an issue, be sure to take it up with Lisa right away. She will work with you to find a solution. Leaving a message with the reception isn't an efficient problem solving strategy. I believe this is simply because of the demanding work load this department has to juggle.The superintendant is fantastic.If you call for plumbing or for an appartment fix up, it is incredibly quick and friendly.Stephanie in rentals is lovely and trustworthy.
Michael Sensenstein: My mom just moved here, so far so good but the main complaint from people is that there are only 2 elevators serving a 12 story building. and when 1 elevator is broken which apparently happens frequently, its quite frustrating.

Stephen “picklebarrel” Rudolph: is the fact that there are 2 small elevators for such a large building. Expect to wait for them especially during dining and entertainment hours. Speaking of Entertainment, it is usually good, ranging from excellent down to well... maybe they should have stayed alonesinging in their shower. . but the residents love it.. I enjoyed accompanying my mother to sever concerts where they offer coffee and DELICIOUS cookies... In terms of food, it is typical institutional food.. a bit uneven in quality and taste .. and most residents i spoke with sort of give me 'that look' if i ask them if they enjoy the food. One thing i would say for the ECW
