Montreal vacation rental : Chez Patrac: what do users think?

Lu Divine: The accommodation is very pleasant and ideally located. The terrace is a pleasure and the owner is very friendly.

Bérengère Collard Mazzacani: , TV, magnificent terrace...A joy for us to have stayed there and I will return with pleasure, it was a real cocoon for my family and me!

Dave Mortensen: We had soccer in Laval and visited downtown, both easy to get to.Parking was easy on the street and the place was very clean with anything you could need.Shops and markets all very close by within walking distance.Only thing that could of been better was the weather, unusually cold for November so didn't get much of a chance to take in the terrace! It looked awesome!Definitely stay again!

VIRTHI 76: One week stay: we loved this apartment, ideally furnished and offering a very nice green terrace in an urban environment. At Patrac we love plants. We will come back with pleasure.

Anne-Marie Desmeules: .The owners are available for any questions. We will definitely return there on our next stay in Montreal!

Colette Chappell: Perfect vacation spot, just the quiet we needed after a long day of fun in Montréal.Would definitely recommend as a place to stay if you want a home away from home.

Joël Rain: . The apartment is particularly pleasant with its beautiful green rear terrace overlooking wooded gardens

M and M: I stayed for 18 days during COVID. The apartment has everything you need and is very comfortable. The host is fantastic and always available for questions. The back deck and plants were a great getaway for me and made the stay even nicer. Great locale in Montreal. Will be going back!

Amélie G.: Second stay at Patrac, still just as pleasant. These 10 days were an enchanted interlude. Alain is very welcoming and discreet. The accommodation is still as beautiful as ever and has since our last visit been equipped with air conditioning which was very appreciated during the hot weather. Let's not forget this splendid tree-lined terrace which is the charming asset of this accommodation. Ideally located with great shops nearby, you will quickly be in the heart of Montreal in less than 10 minutes by metro. We will come back with pleasure.

Louise Leroux: Four night stay. Impeccable apartment where nothing is missing. Superb tree-lined terrace, very quiet apartment thanks to the air conditioning which allows you to sleep with the windows closed. Comfortable beds, large rooms. Very well equipped kitchen, better than average apartments. Very good lighting for reading. Easy to park on the street. Charming host. We hope to have the pleasure of returning there.

Caitlin Reddy: A great location that is accessible to the Metro, many cute cafes and restaurants, as well as a wine store and grocery.2

Franck Classe: In the top !!!Very pleasant apartment, exactly as described in the ad and the south-facing terrace is really a plus!Nearby: grocery store, bakery, the famous Jean-Talon market and the metro 10 minutes away on foot... We had an excellent stay. Thanks to Alain for his availability and his welcome! Kind regards, Franck and Laure.

Mariella Russo: We just returned from a week's stay in Montreal. We were very happy to stay at Alain's place. The apartment is centrally located within easy reach to downtown Montreal and not far from the airport. There are restaurants and markets nearby. Alain was a most gracious landlord and the apartment was sunny and comfortable. We would gladly visit again and recommend to those entertaining a stay in Montreal

Le St-Martin Montreal Hotel Particulier: what do users think?

bruno lesage: Everything is very good, the staff pleasant. Only downside, announced with swimming pool but not operating since Saturday May 4.Very clean room.

Gregorio Manara: Really nice hotel situated right in the center of downtown Montreal, you got tons of shops and restaurants around you. The room was fantastic, lots of light and big windows, with the best thing being the bathtub. There were two TVs, one in the bedroom and one right on top of the bathtub, unfortunately none of them were smart tvs so hope you like local programs. The pool was out of service and it was a bit annoying to find out on arrival since we had in mind to make use of it, for the future I would suggest more transparency on it. The staff were great and always available to help.Overall a positive experience but being on the expensive side I would have expected the pool to be fixed promptly instead of taking weeks.

Jenn Waltmann: I was a little worried reading some of the negative reviews but this hotel was awesome! All the staff were friendly and helpful valet service was great. Our room was very clean and the bed was super comfy. Walking distance to great restaurants. Definitely plan on coming back! The only drawback is it’s a bit confusing where to park when checking in.

Louis-olivier Tanguay: Superb place. I went there with my children during spring break. I also go there when I'm in Mtl on business. Wonderful lunch, swimming pool on site. Great locationRooms: MagnificentWalkability: Everything can be done on foot

Duncan Kennon: Excellent service with clean large rooms. Great view over all of Montreal! From the front desk to the restaurant and housekeeping all the staff are excellent. Great WiFi for working and a good location for access to the airport and downtown if needed.I managed to leave a jacket behind in the room and the team were great at helping me ship it overnight to me before I left Canada!Rooms: Really clean with a comfy bed.

Si Yang Zheng: . There are many restaurants nearby. Note that the hotel is located in Montreal's financial district, a bit far from the tourist area of Old Street.

Coco CLM (NOEVAMITCH): Hotel highlights Great view

Archangel Productions LLC: Overall, this is a very clean and luxurious hotel. The underground garage parking was extremely convenient, especially since we came in the winter just before a snowstorm. It's within walking distance to the Bell Center and all the major shopping on Rene Levesque and St Catherine St. We didn't have time to use the indoor pool but wanted to very much. The only problem I had was that the girl at the coffee shop would not accept the 50 cent pieces I was trying to give her just because she had never seen one before. I try to use cash as much as possible in Canada due to credit card fraud.Rooms: Spacious and cleanWalkability: Within walking distance to many stores on Rene Levesque and St Catherine St

Samantha Fleury: , clean and inviting. The staff at the front desk were so kind and helpful. The hotel is super clean and feels very safe. We absolutely loved our stay and will be returning to this hotel in the future. It was a great price, for a fabulous hotel. We really felt like we got an amazing deal for the money we spent vs the quality we received.

Amine Elinani: Very well located in the heart of downtown Montreal.Friendly hotel with impeccable service.I highly recommend

ousmane Diarra: LaterRooms: Not badNearby activities: CalmSafety: There was peaceWalkability: GOODFood & drinks: GOODNoteworthy details: I'm not too talkative but it wasn't bad and I understand a lot and I arrive so I don't lose any lead and I'm on my way

Kerig Ahearn: First off If your coming to downtown MTL this place is perfectly located about 2 blocks from the Bell center and a couple blocks from from st Catharines st. We have stayed here 5 times, The staff are phenomenal, check in never an issue. This time is the first time we have ever had a small issue with our room. Our deadbolt wouldn't lock. Called the front desk and within 5 min we had someone here to fix it. Beds are super comfy and have multiple choice of pillow firmness available on our beds. You can't go wrong with this place and it's our go to every time we come to MTL.

Ryan Hengel: Wonderful hotel at a great location. The pool had amazing city views too. Loved our stay here. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Montreal.Rooms: The rooms were clean and modern

Le Saint-Sulpice Hotel Montreal: what do users think?

rupak lohani: Great location. Walking distance to Notre Dame, old Montreal, River. They do not have parking on site but have Valet service available. This place is great for families. The room had everything from coffee maker to electric stoves along with cookwares and dining sets.Rooms: Living room had queen size Murphy bed and sofa. Complementary wine. Fully functioning kitchen with all utensils. Office desk. Clean bathroom. It is old hotel that is renovated.

Alaleh - FoodyTO: This is my favorite hotel in Montréal; located in the heart of old port with great access to lots of dining and shopping options. They really care about providing top notch service and the staff make sure to accommodate their guests needs in a timely fashion. They have recently started renovating the hotel; rooms, restaurant & bar, event halls and lobby. And I believe they have done a great job so far.The rooms are spacious and very quiet. The garden view rooms provide a great view. Everything you need is either provided in the room or you can ask and it will be available in a short time. One of the great initiatives they have is to make a donation for every bight you don’t request change of towels, which I believe it’s a positive step towards helping the environment.

Tim Smith: Good sized rooms which are quiet and comfortable. Toiletries are l'occitaine and coffee is via a nespresso machine. Bed is pretty comfortable with a good quality duvet. Staff are friendly and helpful. I wish the restaurant was open in the evenings but that is just a temporary thing. Ask to have your room serviced instead of the tiny charity contribution they make. You'll have a nicer, cleaner room and I hope you'll give more than 5 bucks yourself to make up for it. Location is fantastic and overall I really liked this place. We will stay here again.

Dana Biscotti Myskowski: The staff here is amazing! We originally chose the hotel in 2016 for its location and valet service, but it was the friendliness of the staff and the incredibly quiet and spacious suites that brought us back in 2024. While the decor is a bot dated, and the furniture a tad banged up, the beds are firm and comfortable, the rooms whisper quiet, and the suites gloriously clean. We were greeted by a small gift from the concierge staff wishing me a happy birthday, which was such a thoughtful surprise after our three and half hour drive. We look forward to our next trip here--hoping it will be sooner than another eight years!

Shayna Abramson: Really cute hotel in the best location possible! Great service and most convenient hotel 👌Rooms: Really spacious and great design, with kitchen and nice toiletriesNearby activities: Right next to the cathedral! And in a great part of the Old PortWalkability: In the middle of old port, fabulous locationFood & drinks: Great restaurants all around

Rob L: Had a good experience overall. Now that we have checked out, they continue to send updated room reports adding charges for food that we never had. We drank 1 can of wine and 1 bottle of Pellegrino carbonated water. No food!Guests, I suggest you take before and after pictures to protect them from taking advantage of you.Update: I called the front desk and they refunded the Pringles charge. 👍

Residence Inn by Marriott Montreal Downtown: what do users think?

M Lim: for the exceptional service they provided during & after my stay

Victor: The good : Rooms are very nice. They have a full equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and all utensils like dishes, cups, glasses, etc.The mattress is extremely confortable. The hotel includes a decent all you can eat breakfast where there's always eggs and some type of sausage, bagels, coffee, milk, oats, yogurts, apples, bananas and oranges. Service is super nice! Specially Felix the CubanThe bad : The bathrooms are not good. The toilets don't have enough flushing power. Perhaps this way they save more water or something but they don't work well. The room service uses the same pair of gloves to take the dirty towels, clean the toilet and sink, put new towels, do the bed and take the dishes out of the dishwasher into the cupboards. I mean you were just cleaning the toilet! The elevators are not enough to serve all hotel floors. Wait time can be 10 minutes easyThe ugly : In front of the hotel there's an active construction going on. They are very noisy and the view is really ugly unless you are on a very high floor or on a room not facing the construction

Essa Rachel: Clean hotel in a great location! Everyone in the reviews says the elevators were super small which wasnt a big issue for us, however they were pretty slow and one of the 3 was out for repairs so the other two were busier. Not a big deal, but I would say they were pretty normal sized elevators, only a bit on the small size.Showers were hot and good water pressure. We didn't use the kitchenette but it was a decent size and would have been nice if we were staying longer. The front desk staff were great, and I enjoyed the included breakfast as well as the gym. Lots of dining options close by, as well as only a 5 min walk to the Peel stairs up to Mont Royal.

Steven Robinson: Rooms: Clean and floor plan is really well thought out. Service is great.Nearby activities: Metro is a block away. Great restaurants within three blocks.Walkability: Two blocks from St. Catherines St.

Mike Shank: was an excellent host at check in and helpful throughout my stay. It was extremely convenient for my downtown business, an easy walking distance for great shopping and dining. The room was excellent. I felt like I was on vacation not working away from home. I saw a number of families and kids checking in on several days but I never heard a sound from my room. Does a nice free breakfast everyday on the mezzanine level. The shower in the king suite is fabulous - great water pressure and I really like the bath amenities. To be this felt much more like a luxury brand upscale property especially the room and service. Highly Recommended!!!Rooms: The King Suite upgrade is fantastic! Full kitchen, sleeper sofa and closet, two person dining table, desk, bedroom with king size bed, closet, chair, bathroom.

Le Nouvel Hotel: what do users think?

Nicolas Koeppe: and on the way up to the 7th floor I was greeting with a room that was perhaps a bit spartan, however spotless and smelled great. My room had no carpet which I appreciated.Bathroom was well appointed with all of the essentials. Towel: present and somewhat scratchy vs soft but crisp and amply supplied. Furniture & equipment were in good order and showing some age but well cared for. Plug & play equipment for my tech could use an upgrade but the essentials were all there. If you're planning on working for a few hours like I was, the task chair may change your mind. How was the night? The room was quiet, the hall was quite, the hvac was moderate

Efosa Omorogbe: First time in Montreal and we stayed for 2 nights. The service is amazing and Luis is an absolute gem. We came early and Luis allowed us to check in early and was always helpful, by far he made this trip a lot less stressful. Hotel is very close to the Bell Centre and the metro, i'd recommend this to anyone who decides to stay in Montreal !!

Jennie Beaudoin: , they must use a pizza stone or oven, because it was beyond what I expected. It was delicious! The meals also came with a beverage

kenny l: A very well run hotel! From check-in, which was quick and pleasant, to departure, everything was professional easy. The one stand-out for me was the cleanliness. I know hotels are managed to be clean, but Le Nouvel is on another level. As soon as you walk in, the lobby, common areas and rooms smell clean. And they are!Location of the hotel is close to a number of restaurants and attractions. The Bell center is just a few blocks away and the Montreal casino is a quick cab ride away too.Rooms are updated with modern furniture and fixtures with sleek design cues that are bright and clean. Beds are firm with the right amount of give that produce a great night's sleep.Parking is on-site, although a little pricy, is very convenient.Staff work hard in maintaining the hotel to a standard that will bring me back when in town.

The Ritz-Carlton, Montreal: what do users think?

Aurore R.M.: Hotel highlights Luxury

Jerry Ehlers: . The pool has such great views of the city. The staff were all so sweet. It was my first time in Montreal and I felt so welcomed. This was my favorite stay in a hotel, hands down. I stayed in the 2 queen room

Stephen Milioti: My brother and I, along with some friends, stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Montreal for five nights when the World Figure Skating Championships were in town, and the experience was first rate all the way. From the minute we checked in, we were received so warmly by everyone at the hotel. And it only got better as the time went on. From Irene at the front desk to Guillaume in the Palm Court bar/restaurant, everyone was exemplary at their job and went above and beyond. As grand as this over-a-century-old building is, the rooms are fresh, contemporary and state-of-the-art. They feel individual and personal, with none of the cookie-cutter quality that even top luxury chains are falling prey to these days.I can’t recommend this hotel enough — it is truly one of the most special places we have stayed.Safety: Security is excellent. You need a hotel key to access the elevator and the key only provides access to your floor.Food & drinks: Try the RC cocktail at the Palm Court! It’s next level

Max Staubin: Very good, first time going there since the major renovations a few years ago. It really is the number one hotel in MontrealRooms: Very luxurious and ultra comfortable, excellent service

erick meguid: Cant beat the Ritz-Carlton. Downtown central, great location for shopping and sightseeing, everything wonderful about montreal is a small walk, staff and service you will find none better and after a hard day being a tourist, one can only enjoy your comfortable surroundings, cocktails and champagne with friends, thank you ritz carlton, until we return again

Vogue Hotel Montreal Downtown: what do users think?

Anju Patwardhan: .

Caroline Matteau: Very nice hotel and impeccable service. There is a very convenient valet service for this corner of Montreal. It was during a private event, the food was very good except the tuna steak which was dry. The room is spacious and beautiful. Room #411 from memory. The bed is very comfortable, I would like to know the brand of the mattress please haha! There's a small fridge, but it's already stocked with items for sale. If you want a bucket of ice, you have to ask at reception. The hotel lobby is impressive in its height. There is a restaurant on site and a small cafe near reception. I would come back without hesitating!Rooms: Spacious, comfortable

Greg McNab: and is just off the main street so it's easy to wait for and get in and out of Ubers etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we had questions. There is a bar and cafe in the lobby so you don't have to go far to get something to eat or drink if you don't want to. The lobby is beautiful and welcoming with a big fireplace. The room was huge and made me want to live there. It felt like we were the first people to ever stay in it. Huge TV in the room and modern music devices. We even used the gym, which had everything we needed. All in all a great stay and will be back.Nearby activities: There were lots of bars, restaurants and the Bell Centre within walking distance.Food & drinks: Lots of restaurants and places to get Montreal style bagels nearby :

Toan Le: My stay at the Vogue Hotel, booked as a diamond member through FHR, had a wide range of experiences.Checking in:I was initially told at 10 a.m. that my room was ready and just awaiting inspection, but upon arriving at 12:30, I had to wait another 20 minutes. Although I did get in before the standard 4 p.m. check-in time, this early check-in experience pales in comparison to other FHR hotels where I’ve routinely been accommodated much earlier, usually in the early mornings at the Langham NYC, as has been almost the norm during my countless stays at FHR hotels. The experience at the front desk was a bit prolonged unnecessarily. After being told my room would be ready soon, I ended up waiting in the lounge for almost 20 minutes. When I inquired again, the room was finally ready, suggesting they might have forgotten about me. The inconsistency with early check-in times, especially compared to other FHR hotels, was notable.Room:The first room offered a view of a dirty roof and what appeared to be a pile of trash, coupled with no doorman to assist with luggage—a service lapse unexpected at a hotel within the Fine Hotels and Resorts program. However, the extensive array of Le Labo Santal 33 products—hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel—did lend a luxurious touch. My ‘second upgrade’ experience was another letdown. I was moved to what was termed a ‘suite’, but in reality, it was not a suite at all. Having stayed at numerous luxury hotels, I know the difference between a room and a suite. This so-called upgrade was just a slightly better version of the same room, two floors up, with a marginally improved view and a larger bathtub. However, the showerhead in the upgraded room was immovable, making it awkward to adjust the water temperature. I had to stand outside the shower door, poke one arm inside to adjust the water temperature, and wait until it was okay to get in. Additionally, the minibar contained expired chocolate, which was a disappointing discovery; the chocolate was comped due to this issue. We were provided with a soft, double-layered bathrobe, though, which was a pleasant touch. I would say this is my favorite bathrobe out of all my FHR stays.Dining:A real highlight of this stay was dining at the Yama restaurant within the hotel, which I've reviewed separately, awarding it five stars for its exceptional food and service. The $100 USD credit from FHR, which was converted to $126 CAD—less than the current exchange rate—covered a significant part of our dinner. Breakfast at Yama was also delightful, featuring various eggs benedict options and standard choices, with the FHR credit covering most of the costs. No additional breakfast credits were provided or stacked with my Hilton Diamond status over my two-night stay, but they wouldn’t have been necessary anyway.Overall, the Vogue Hotel aligns with the standards expected of a four-star hotel. If the check-in process had been smoother, the term 'suite' had not been misleadingly used for the room upgrade, and there had been no expired items, my experience could have been rated five stars. I appreciate honesty in service, especially as both an FHR and Diamond member who is typically upgraded based on availability, and I did not appreciate being misled about the room upgrade.

J Y: .Thank you for our stay!!Rooms: The rooms are very spacious and extremely beautiful.

Charles E: My wife, following our daughter's recommendation, booked us at Vogue Montreal as part of my birthday celebration. We stayed in room 511 on March 16. Everything about our stay was just fabulous. The staff went out of their way to make our stay so memorable. I want to thank the staff involved for making our stay so special. THANK YOU!Rooms: Very spacious and tasteful decor. The bathroom very large also.

Deborah Burbo: My husband and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Hotel Vogue again; we had a very nice experience. When we visit Montreal, we usually stay in Old Montreal. However, on this occasion, we made the trip to see a temporary exhibit at the Museum of Fine Art, which was a short walk from the hotel. The location and available valet parking were very convenient. The sleek and modern lobby was visually stunning the and clean, well-appointed room made our stay a pleasure. The staff were welcoming and friendly, yet impeccable in their professionalism. We were very pleased.
