Candide: what do users think?

Squirrel Friend: What an amazing restaurant. Tasting menu has a lot of quality and seasonal ingredients. The highlights of the meal for me were the crab and carrot dish as well as the mushroom oat porridge. I visited Montreal during the snow crab season, so the crab was out of this world. The porridge was savory and hearty. Service was attentive and friendly. The waitresses were so nice and sweet. One of the waitresses was also in charge of making cocktails, and the drink that I got was delicious. The restaurant is in the back of an old church and has a very unique vibe.

Caroline Duksta: . The staff was friendly and professional, balancing attentiveness while giving us space to enjoy our night seamlessly. The food was refreshing, thoughtful and surprising. I appreciate a slow deliberate meal, never feeling rushed nor forgotten. The smoked oysters were delightful and the sea bass was complimented perfectly with the mushrooms and fennel.

Swati S: Food is great. Honey at the end was such a special touch. The service is amazing: friendly, kind, fast between courses, but you don't feel rushed at all. Would definitely recommend Candide for a great night out with really delicious food.Vegetarian options: They were super understanding and accommodating to provide a vegetarian menu, especially with my added inconvenience that I can't eat mushrooms.Dietary restrictions: Very understanding and kind.

Toqué!: what do users think?

Jessie D'Aigle: Toqué is a culinary gem that truly delivers an exceptional dining experience through its "menu dégustation". From start to finish, this restaurant exuded excellence in service, presentation, and taste.Upon stepping into Toqué, we were greeted with impeccable service that set the tone for the evening. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcomed and at ease throughout the dining experience. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the seven-course tasting menu that proved to be a culinary journey like no other. Each dish was not only beautifully plated but also showcased a careful balance of flavors that left us wanting more. From the first bite to the last, every course was a delightful surprise, showcasing the chef's mastery in combining ingredients to create a symphony of taste. My girlfriend, Julie, and I were thoroughly impressed by the thoughtful execution of each dish and appreciated the attention to detail in every aspect of the meal. ... And the champagne pairing was excellent.

Isabel Carrier: , nice meeting with Normand Laprise

yx Sun: I had an incredible 3-hour experience with their 7-course tasting menu! My favorites were the beef steak, quail, and two desserts. The beef and quail were exceptionally tender, and the accompanying sauces were bursting with flavor. Both dishes had a divine aroma when they arrived. Even though I’m not usually a fan of sweet dishes, I thoroughly enjoyed their desserts. They struck a perfect balance, not overly sweet, and the sorbet with sponge cake combination was delightful. The meal began with a brown butter mousse amuse-bouche, followed by the sea urchin as the first course. While the brown butter mousse was delicious, the sea urchin lacked a bit of its distinctive flavor for my taste. Unfortunately, the complimentary bread was served cold and didn’t make much of an impression compared to the other outstanding dishes. The service was fantastic. They efficiently cleaned our table, and water and wine refills were prompt. However, I found the ambiance to be a bit noisy compared to Europea, where I had dined previously. Overall, it was a memorable night at this restaurant.

Guy Desmarteaux: Wow and wow.We had a tasting... wine and dish pairing. Yes a 9.8/10.Thank you life for offering us this... our servers were friendly and competent.

Pat Thompson: Last night’s tasting menu was exceptional! The nuance of flavors and clever ingredients made each dish unique from start to finish. The wine pairings were perfection as well… our sommelier knew so much about each selection that it made the experience super fun. Each staff member did a great job and the ambiance was minimalist but warm. We sat at the bar, which gave us a chance to watch a lot of the food prep, grilling and drink making so it was quite entertaining too! We highly recommend Hoogan & Beaufort and can’t wait to return.

Restaurant de l'ITHQ: what do users think?

X x: This is my second time coming back to ithq. Both times, I ordered the tasting menu. All courses were tasty. Of course I had preferences over others. With that said, this is a great experience if you want to try experimental foods, impeccable services in a warm atmosphere *at more affordable prices compared to pure tasting restaurants*Both times were a 2.5-3 hour experience.

Cameron C: Food is excellent. Impeccable service. We enjoyed it very much.

Charles Therrien: Our experience at the ITHQ restaurant in Montreal was simply exceptional! We were delighted with our lunch, carefully prepared by Pasquale Vari's team. Each dish was a true delight for the taste buds, showcasing the creativity and culinary expertise of the team. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the impeccable service added a touch of refinement to our experience. Additionally, we were pleasantly surprised when we were offered Crepes Suzette for dessert, a nice touch that perfectly concluded this memorable meal. A truly unforgettable moment!

Gaby Lacatus: Everything to the maximum quality, cuisine, service, atmosphere. To refer...Gaby and Guy

Genoveffa Fiorin: Next to the Saint-Louis square, eating at the ITHQ is a gastronomic experience full of local flavors. We went there for a birthday and it was a delicious gift to give yourself. The wine list is diverse. It’s very popular with Montrealers and I recommend making reservations. The service is excellent and they are attentive to any request.

Millot Clement: Really nice place with French service. We had the guest menu and the dishes were very good.I recommend the restaurant for this dining experience. I will go back there very soon.

Sophie (Sophie): Wow what a culinary experience! And what impeccable service! Everything was perfect ! Congratulations to the entire Pastel team!Do you want to live an extraordinary culinary experience?!I suggest you reserve your place quickly within the next 2 weeks.

Camilla Kuo-Dahab: Delicious!

Isaiah Zettler: Best restaurant experience I've ever had. Went December 2021

Adèle Piveteau: Best culinary experience! It was an amazing journey from arrival to departure. We tasted a menu around ART and it was such a fantastic idea. Wine pairing was amazing and we had the opportunity to try wine from different country! Thank you to the entire team! We had a very special time, and even an extra birthday cake!

Yathu Karunailingam: This place is amazing!!!!!

Matt Brown: We loved our experience at Pastel! It was our last night for vacation in Canada and the team there did not disappoint. Louie greeted us and brought us to our table. Fiona, the sommelier, was incredible and recommended the perfect wine. Mike, our server, offered amazing tips along the way for our 6 course tasting menu. Alex provided fun banter while bringing dishes throughout the night.Highly recommended!!

Leopold Boutin: What a wonderful wolrd!!!Thank you Fiona, Olivier and Simonthe chef is outstandingI am just thrilled go back.We have loved the experience, the service and ambiance, Maryse and Léopold xxx

Adrien Pajot: .The cuisine was almost the same

Yi-Chieh Chen: . We went with 6-course.😋 The meal kicked off with an amazing amuse-bouche.The chawanmushi that follows was less exciting, because the kombu sauce tasted a tad sweet for my liking. The shiitake was tasty though. The venison carpaccio was eye-opening 🤩 didn’t know that venison could be so tender and scrumptious. The brioche was buttery soft. The dish melted in my mouth in a most satisfying manner. The black cod was good, but the star of this dish was the cream sauce. I devoured the sauce with the sourdough bread 😋I’m not a fan of quail in general, so the dish did not stand out to me. I do remember the foie gras being delicious. We had a special risotto dish because we were still hungry 🐷 and it was the absolute highlight of our dinner. Perfectly al dente and the ultimate comfort food. The desserts wrapped up the meal beautifully. Particularly loved the marinated strawberry and soft chocolate sponge cake.Overall the food was enjoyable. Every dish feels very thoughtfully crafted in terms of the flavor complexity. While portions erred on the small side for us, this is fairly standard for fine dining.✨ So deeply grateful for the exceptional service. Definitely one of the best restaurant service I have experienced. The servers were genuinely kind and friendly in their interactions, and really went above and beyond to make sure that we are enjoying the food AND full at the end 🙏 merci beaucoup!Appreciate the attention to my husband’s gluten allergy and making substitutions 🙏🍷 Diverse wine selection. We scored a fantastic bottle of local pet nat orange 🍋 they have two wine pairing options

Genevieve Gravel: Magic !!!! A perfect meal and attentive, professional service from Mia and her team including the friendly maître d' and the great mixologist/sommelier.We will definitely return!

Catherine Frantzeskos: Excellent experience. The food and service was exceptionalStaff super attentive, worth a visit !

ELaughrea: Outstanding and beautiful dining experience. A delight for all the senses. We had the caviar with the buckwheat blinis as an extra with the tasting menu. I'm still dreaming of it. I recommend for a special occasion.

Ben Pruitt: Best testing menu I’ve had to date. Very inventive and delicious! I had the wine pairing and the sommelier was wonderful. The entire waitstaff was engaging and gregarious. We enjoyed every minute of our meal.Recommended dishes Bao Bun, Mushroom Dish …

5 times well done!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sharon Wood: very friendly and professional. I highly recommend them.

Olivier: Wonderful place, I wish it was open again

Samuel Lavoie: Very fine cuisine with quality ingredients but above all what separates them is the level of research and experimentation to come up with surprising and complex but delicious combinations. You can see and taste the kitchen staff craftsmanship 🤤Service, especially with the wine selection, was great. An expensive dinner experience but you get one of a kind. Perfect location and cozy decor. They also have affordable brunch on Sundays.

Heureux Zazar: They will

Lisa Fitterman: into a fun, delicious learning experience. At a time when restaurants have had to U-turn, Dany, Jonathan and the gang are thinking outside the box - or rather, inside it. We picked up baskets of food in the morning, pre-measured, some of it pre-cooked, and several bottles of wine, and had a hands-on, restaurant quality dinner. Dany directed and patiently answered question in both French and English, and Jonathan was behind the camera. Try it! It is the perfect marriage of delicious things you

Pierrot Arpin: Great food and wine pairing

Eric Cyr: Great food, great service, great decor... a great restaurant.

Richer Fortin: Back after more than three months of closure due to confinement, extraordinary. Everyone takes great care to reassure and protect customers, this does not affect the experience in any way. The octopus and the beef tartare, the entire menu, everything is magical. I highly recommend the large menu for the total experience. Congratulations to Dany and the whole team.

cath morellon: It’s beautiful, it’s good. The products are quality. WE love!

Diane D'Allaire: A restaurant where we always return with great pleasure, both for brunch and for the evening meal. We tried twicetheir Saturday evening take-out meal, a great way to ease this period of social distancing a little. A real delight, this week, the stuffed lamb shoulder was absolutely divine! Restaurant Jérôme Ferrer - Europea: what do users think?

Cyril BECKER: and everything is tasty the flavour of each dish is well balanced. They have a great wine selection to match your menu. The steak sauce flambée is prepared right in front of you and you will feel the heat.

Organic World Club: Top-notch French restaurant in the heart of Montreal! If you’re looking for a special experience, Europea consistently delights with some of the best food and wine in the world. The best ingredients available turned into art for the eyes and taste buds combined with great service is what drives me to come back. Some of the menu highlights included fresh mint tea, onion soup served in an onion, lobster cappuccino, and more paired with phenomenal wines; also, eye watering variety of deserts — my personal choice for best desert was the maple cotton candy. The highlight of the wine pairing was a mistery wine served in black glass. It was of course outstanding in flavor but also unique in appearance.

Vlora Ahmeti: First of all, let me start with saying this is a dining experience. The presentation is very artistic and the flavors are delicate and to be savored. It's not the type of place to go if your interested is a warm, superfilling comfort meal. Atmosphere is beautifully decorated and has nice lighting. Service was excellent, special shout out to Valentino for humoring us. Would definitely recommend for the experience if you're in Montreal for a few days.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. Hard pressed to get children to eat these things.

Frederique Chezet: Gastronomic trip to Montreal at the table of Jerome Ferer "Europea"Magical, exceptional, gastronomic staging

Chez Sophie: what do users think?

Jean Pedro Stiverne: Relaxing and clean

Evelyn Burg: We really enjoyed Chez Sophie. We called because the weather threatened to rain and they happily moved us inside. We ordered a la carte. First we had their version of a Japanese gin and tonic --delicious and light. Then they had a little fish sample and an amuse bouche. These were nice, though not so special. But the bread and flavored butter which they bring continually is excellent. I had the bone marrow as an appetizer and yes, it was oily but tasted marvelous and had a little baby lettuce with vinaigrette. My friend had the wrapped shrimp. For the main courses we had the scallops which he thought were very special and I chose the veal sweetbreads which were fabulous with two kinds of asparagus, miniature mushrooms and foie gras cream. It was superb. The sommelier was surprised we were only drinking one glass of wine each but ordered us a delicious white. We did not have dessert or very much wine so our meal was not wildly expensive. The service was charming all around. We were coddled and treated as if they were delighted to have us there. The shape of the restaurant is long and narrow so it has been designed in a streamlined manner. I thought it was handsomely done.

Jean François Pigeon: Very nice experience in terms of food, small downside unfortunately, very pretentious service from one of the servers. It was uncomfortable and unpleasant.

Joe Beef: what do users think?

Robert Oliver: Fantastic dinner, probably the best we had on our trip. Had the seafood special appetizer with the aoli sauce which was incredible. Beef tartar was great too! Split the New York strip with the bone marrow. Cooked to perfection and so rich with the marrow also liked the side horse radish cabbage. Someone else got the lobster pasta which was outstanding! Enjoyed the lemon sorbet thoroughly!

Anick Globensky-Bromow: , cooked perfectly. Even the beer was perfect. I tried the babeigne au rhum for dessert. Will definitely go back to try what our table neighbors had, lobster spaghetti, which was a whole lobster on pasta! We spent 250$ for a shared meal with no appetizers, so expect to spend a little. Worth every penny!

Le Mousso/Le Petit Mousso: what do users think?

Audrey Couture: Wow! Excellent food paired with various wines, each as good as the next. At first, we're not sure if we're going to go out and eat a Big Mac trio because of the portions, but no need! The flavors were a real delight in the mouth and a surprise with each new dish! Spring menu recommended! This was our first experience, we plan to try the menu every season. The only problem was that the music wasn't always representative of the place.Dietary restrictions: Listened to allergies, did not need to make a reminder and informed us of changes made as they happened

katie robitaille: An evening for 4, in April. The restaurant was full and they were introducing their spring menu.We liked the more casual atmosphere than some other large restaurants of the same type, with a more relaxed dress code. The table service is impeccable and attentive. The cuisine is sophisticated and the presentation careful. The flavors were so pleasant in the mouth. But in this same price range, we did not have the evening experience that we found in other great restaurants. The least favorite part of the evening was the wine pairing. They feature private imports taken from small batches of little-known grape varieties. But for $125, no one at the table fell in love or wanted more. It is not for nothing that certain great wines are well recognized around the world, it is because they are very popular. Perhaps an alternation between small producers and reliable values would help the experience. The amount of food was adequate, if you are not a big eater. For the quantity of alcohol in the glasses, I used my breathalyzer 20 minutes after my departure and I was at 0.00!One last downside, the pace of the services is dictated for the entire room and it is not possible to slow down if your appetite requires it.In short, one more x on my list of great restaurants to discover but I won't go back.

Didoudi: I had dietary restrictions and they made some really bold substitutions which is really appreciated! The butter is amazing!I absolutely loved my experience the food is extraordinary the service is impeccable. You are definitely having a good time

Jean-François Ouellet: but it's successful. The portions are reasonable for a 12 course, we ate our fill. Prices are comparable to other fine dining restaurants. We also appreciated the pay equity between the service and kitchen employees who share the tips.

Mitchel Baglivi: This special Montreal restaurant's food, service and purpose speak for themselves, as do the multitude of 5-Star reviews. From start to finish my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed each uniquely conceived and layered dish, and the comfortable, charming and well choreographed presentation, all balanced beautifully by the gracious and mindful sommelier whose knowledge is encyclopedic and recommendations spot-on.So, here, a genuine thank you and job well done Chef and the entire Le Mousso team.
