And it only got better as the time went on. From Irene at the front desk to Guillaume in the Palm Court bar/restaurant, everyone was exemplary at their job and went above and beyond.As grand as this over-a-century-old building is, the rooms are fresh, contemporary and state-of-the-art. They feel individual and personal, with none of the cookie-cutter quality that even top luxury chains are falling prey to these days.I can’t recommend this hotel enough — it is truly one of the most special places we have stayed.Safety: Security is excellent. You need a hotel key to access the elevator and the key only provides access to your floor.Food & drinks: Try the RC cocktail at the Palm Court! It’s next level

S.E. McKenzie: Beautiful campus. Great dentistry school. The atmosphere at the moment is not great due to protest and muddy field.
Paul Miiller: Great spectacle! They had two massive teams on either side of the gates waving flags and cheering, never saw anything like it before. Not sure what sport it was for but really gives the impression of a very active school community. A lot to see and I even got a hot dog!

David: .It's a great spot for the value. I wouldn't recommend families staying here, but if you're travelling solo, with a partner, or with friends this is a good place to stay for the weekend.

The reception hall is warm with its free hot drinks dispenser.Small downside: we would have liked a more varied breakfast.Rooms: Spacious, quiet. Park slope on the squirrels. Cleaned daily.Nearby activities: Close to all amenities.

We left the car parked for a long time.Noteworthy details: Each floor has an ice machine, which made it much easier for us to always have our drinks cold and to be able to take some ice on our trips.

Marysa Lopez: The hotel is simple, it has amenities, the rooms are very small in my opinion, but the location is excellent. The problem is that there is no parking, so you have to use the street, but it is super difficult to find, so you have to go around several times to find a spot. I didn't love the coffee selection, they should have a decaffeinated option.But in general the Service is excellent and the people are very friendly.

Mike H: Stayed for one night a few weeks ago. Very reasonable price. Hotel is very central. Check in was quick and easy and the person assisting us was helpful and courteous. We received a complimentary upgrade to 2 queen room from 2 double. Room was quiet, spacious and clean, beds and pillows very comfortable, wifi quick, and shower hot. Nice sized fitness room on main floor close to reception area, so daughter felt safe while using it in evening. They directed us to parking garage the next street over for $18 overnight, which we felt was reasonable considering the location. No breakfast included, but there is a Cora's right next door. Would definitely stay here again, in the future.

We went with another family so had 2 x 8 year olds and a 5 year old and we spent lots of time here. They had a special exhibit going on as well which made it even more fun. Meeting rooms were as expected for a large hotel.The guest room layout consists of several towers and levels - requiring the use of escalators and various elevators. Some of the attendees were in different towers.The bar was great at night for connecting.The second floor where we had our cocktail party was super hot …. Too warm for mixing up a hundred people.The escalator was down for one day. Nice to have it fixed second day.Beds were comfortable and I loved the duvet.

Nick Fortin: It's good, our room was clean and the beds comfortable. We couldn't see anything outside because of the fog. The continental breakfast is very good and complete: toast, cereal, oatmeal, waffles, fruit, etc. negative point: the limited parking space and the price of $30. In addition, since we had a minivan, we had one of the 4 spaces in the back alley, without any guarantee. We were warned not to leave anything inside...in short, go and park at UQAM opposite.
Sofia Mehlitz: Great experience staying here. The staff was very kind and patient. Check in was easy, our room was large and very clean. No issues at all. Breakfast was a bit fancier and nicer than your typical complementary selection and I was very happy with it. Check out was equally as easy.There wasn't any parking available on site but we parked at UQAM, just a block away for 12$ a day, which was very reasonable and close.The location was top notch, 15 minute walk to old Montreal, very close to Chinatown and right next to the Village. Great stay if you're down to explore the city! Would recommend staying here.

Helen Grace: It is one of the best places to stay in the heart of Montreal. The best location if you want to roam around the city. Near to everything, restaurants, groceries, coffee shops, banks, and many more.Love the location.The room is amazingly clean and big. I must say that the interior of the rooms is very pleasing, aesthetic.The staff, especially Leanne and the manager, are very accommodating, courteous, and helpful.They have their own parking space for a low price.And of course, free breakfast!!!I highly recommend this hotel. Good for relaxation and quick getaway.

Laura Grenier: Beautiful location for a business trip close to services and several restaurants. The rooms are clean and the service is impeccable. Please note, you absolutely must go to the Bivouac restaurant which is located on the same floor as the hotel reception.Rooms: My room was very practical. I had a bed, of course, a desk and a couch. Very practical for a professional trip.
Safae: This hotel is in a very convenient location in downtown Montreal, the room was spacious and the staff was helpful and attentive. I would like to give a special thanks to the security guard Ahmed who was on the morning of April 19, 2024 for his professionalism and excellent service. Our family enjoyed the stay in Montreal and we will definitely come back!
