Le Taj: what do users think?

Nikhil Lodaya: Recommended dishes Garlic Naan

Eric Piety: Amazing food, service, and atmosphere at a Montreal landmark! The owner of 36 years watches over everything and there are servers who have been here since the beginning. That means they are treated well, and as a customer, that comes through in excellent service!! Our server at our first visit was "Gourmet"! And he gave us a Gourmet experience! We return regularly now, and I can say ALL servers deserve praise. So thanks Le Taj!!!Kid-friendliness: It's a beautiful restaurant for adults...but it's also my 7 year old daughter's favorite 😍. The servers are highly experienced and kind. My daughter feels like a princess at Le Taj.

Thanjai Restaurant: what do users think?

Maryse Lambert: Super nice experience that we have repeated twice so far. The staff is attentive and attentive. We answer all our questions about the menu. Very large vegetarian choice. Dosa pancakes are delicious. Bring your own wine formula which I always appreciate. Unlike many other Indian restaurants, the flavors vary in intensity and taste from one dish to another, not as if it was masala for all dishes! This is our new favorite place in town!!!Vegetarian options: Several side dishes, starters, soups, main dishes. We are vegetarians and had plenty of choice

Vikram Kumar: Positive review:Ambience: 9/10Basically food is so good. I tried on SPECIAL MEALS on april 14th, it was so nice. I'm living in montreal since 2021, most of the time we used to go to Toronto for full meals. After tasting here, there is no need to go for that. Feels like home.Food: 10/10Worth for money: 10/10Noe they introduced morning tiffen on weekends - mini tiffen. We enjoyed a lot and we had nice breakfast.Must go and try!!!

Nandan Giri: Южноиндийская кухня. Доса, праздно и обычная индийская еда. По разумным ценам. Вкусный.Парковка: Парковка на Ван Хорне. Обычно я нахожу парковку рядом.

Leo Paniagua: I told the head chef that this was the best meal I've had in a while, but the more I think about it it may be the best meal I've had....... ever. The service was exceptional, the staff was so caring and welcoming, the environment was so comfortable, and the FOOD. Perfectly balanced, beautifully tender, well portioned and priced. I am struggling to put this into words. It makes sense that the staff are so wonderful and passionate considering what a high degree of excellence they have achieved.I recommend this place to anyone who likes enjoying things.

J T: Some of the best food in Montréal. Excellent and friendly service, too! Thank you!Recommended dishes Gulab Jamun, Garlic Naan, Shahi Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala …

asha bisht: The food was awesome. We tried Chicken kabab for the starter, and the wait time was more than 30 minutes. The kabab was just okay, not so thrilling. Then, for the main course, we ordered Chicken Vindaloo, garlic naan, and chicken biryani. I loved the Chicken Vindaloo and will definitely recommend it. The Chicken Biryani was also amazing.I had also tried Mango Lassi, and it was good.Overall, a quite good experience. And lastly, the hero of the show, Gulab jamun—I loved it.

Iván Melicoff Abril: Very Nice ambiance and excellent service!.Vegetarian options: Great tasting lentils.Kid-friendliness: Waiter was very nice to our son.

Frederic Gouin: They have a very interesting menu that includes several dishes that are less common and worth trying. Surprisingly, everything was very sweet. That's something I expected with dishes that use coconut, but definitely not in dahl makhani!Vegetarian options: It's indian food, duh!

Flavours of India Restaurant: what do users think?

alejandro figueroa: Best Indian food in jean Talon, this place is in all honesty the best value you’re gonna get around. The decore is from another world, it’s like somebody hired Dracula, gave me acid and ask him to do the interior design. Culinary wise, Everything they make it is consistent. You will not get disappointed with their food, there is speciality is northern cuisine of India and the service is amazing since you will most probably will be there only customer, is like you are a king/queen and you have these crew of people at your service……of course this is because there is no one there ever. Something cool about that too is that the bathrooms are clean and that pretty amazing. This place will not survive for too long, so take the time to encourage them before the bankruptcy.

Chevalier Logan: [UPDATE] Tried it again after the new opening. Sad to not see the same waitress as before, the new one was not very nice and forgot few things from our order. The food was still alright but I did not like it as much. I sadly won't be coming back.-------My all time favourite. Even when I can’t pass by to eat I grab a delicious mango lassi. The waitress is awesome and the food amazing. I always feel welcomed and im looking forward to coming back. The food is tasty and very affordable.

G H O S T: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"Hans Paradise is a true culinary gem nestled in the heart of India. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. Each dish is a masterpiece, bursting with authentic Indian flavors and made with the freshest ingredients. Whether you're a fan of spicy curries, aromatic biryanis, or flavorful tandoori delights, Hans Paradise has something to satisfy every palate. The service is impeccable, with attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. From recommendations on the menu to prompt refills of drinks, every detail is taken care of effortlessly.Overall, dining at Hans Paradise is a delight for all the senses. It's no wonder this restaurant has earned a well-deserved reputation for excellence. If you're looking for a taste of paradise in every bite, look no further than Hans Paradise. Highly recommended!"

Pierre-Adrien Marciset: There is a really wide choice for vegetarians and it's really good, with contrasting flavors and several textures. Very pleasantly surprised and frankly it's not the last time they see me!Vegetarian options: A wide choice of different categories and complex dishes, not just to say that they have vegetarian options.

Monica Dimos: so sorry to find out you closed permanently , why ????your lovely well apreciated restaurant Will bé very missed by your customers , after all thèse years you provided us with a delicious cuisine very affordable in that neigbourhoid...Will you have another location somewhere un Montreal ?so long ....

Restaurant India's Oven: what do users think?

Caroline D. Hudon: Best palak paneer in Mtl!

Yvan Lulu: as of writing this review]The best Indian restaurant in Parc-Extension! Very underrated. We usually take the Butter Chicken, Lamb Jalfrezi, Baingan Bharta, Fish Pakora and another vegetable dish. The Butter Chicken is very creamy and thick

Ruhan R: When it comes to authentic Indian food, you really have to look out for the atmosphere as you walk into the restaurant. Is it very nicely done, clearn, somewhat fancy? Then the food is going to be mid. What you want to see is an awkward atmosphere that is trying to be formal but failing to do so. The Christmas lights, the late 90s-esque furniture and and layout and overall lack of pomp – all told me what I needed to in order to get a reading on how good the food was going to be. Prices are about average for Indian fare today. Although the portions are a bit small, the meat quantities are a bit shy. A dish can’t be shared by more than 2 people, you’ll need to order multiples if you have more than 2 people in your group. I enjoyed the naans except for the cheese naan, which was way too broken-up in their attempts to put cheese in it. The type of cheese used just didn’t layer very well either. This place specializes more in curries than tandoori BBQ. They are thick and flavourful. But curries aren't made in the oven so weird choice of name to be honest. Their lamb is not overly boney or fatty which was relieving. Service was alright. Friendly enough but lacked precision. Ventiliation could be a bit better, there was a slight odour but again funny enough this is something you actually want to find in a good Indian restautaunt. Overall this place is a solid pick for authentic Indian food.

Antoine Guay: Charming staff and amazing authentic food!

Mathieu Allaire: Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Meat Samosa, Onion Bhaji, Chicken Saag, Naan, Butter Chicken

Nicolas Snickers: Just went it with a friend and I've never tasted a butter chicken this good! I knew the recipes come from different regions and differ from one restaurent to the others but this one is definitely my favourite! The chef even came to ask how things were and as I like my plate a bit spicy they offered to bring me more fresh pepper. It was spicy perfect!

Chez Dévi: what do users think?

Ericca Al Hawa: I recently dined at Chez Devi Indian Cuisine, and it was a delightful experience that transcended mere dining. The ambiance, enveloped in soothing music, immediately transported me to the heart of India. The staff, with their genuine warmth and hospitality, added an extra layer of charm to the evening. But it was the food that truly stole the show, each dish a culinary masterpiece that allowed me to explore and appreciate the rich tapestry of Indian flavors. It's not just a restaurant; it's a gateway to new cultures, where every bite tells a story.

Kay B: First time I've ever enjoyed the tandoori chicken, it's not dry like other restaurants. When you say mild, they really do put mild spices. I've ordered three weeks in a row and each time it has been wonderful. Lamb curry, daal, naan everything is tasty. A great place to order from and they package everything well. My mom also loves the food. This will be our first choice for Indian food. We'll done!

Deevanshu Trehan: Great food! Excellent service!

Matt Dowd: I'm used to Toronto Indian food, particularly South Indian, and this spot is on par with the absolute best I've had in Toronto, at some big name places. The Masala Dosa is excellent, with the dosa crispy and the chutneys really pop. The Medhu Vada were beautifully crunchy on the outside, and pillowy soft on the inside, and the Idli Sambar were excellent. The Sambar in particular was very well spiced, not hot, but not dull, and chock full of veggies in every bite. Overall, a great experience, and one that I've missed since I've moved to MTL!

Star of India (Etoile Des Indes): what do users think?

Caro Caro: Great food excellent service. I would say best Indian restaurant in town

Mila H.-D.: as well as the bread which was freshly baked. The dishes were very accessible to everyone because they were not spicy. This can also be a negative element: we don't lose flavor but it doesn't sting at all.

Elham Alizadeh: We went there at 9:30. They close at 10, they were so friendly didn’t rush us at all.We tried a mix of different dishes for 2 people. Everything was sooooo delicious, but butter chicken was another level!!! I am regretting why I didn’t discover this place earlier! We brought the rest of it home and ate it for the next day lunch. It was giving us the same satisfaction! I cannot wait to go there again and try other dishes! I’m informing all my Indian food lover friends about this Chef’s magic!

Athan Sklavis: One of my favorite restaurants in Montreal. Going to the Star of India is always a treat. The food is divine and the staff is friendly. The place is a staple in the city and is always busy, you know that's a good sign.Vegetarian options: We always order the DD vegetarian option and still walk out stuffed, delicious !
