Mizu Studio Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Wrestling: what do users think?

Luddnel Magne: share techniques every week that help all grades evolve. Head coach Val and his wife are very friendly enthusiasts who share their jiu-jitsu culture with fair and non-rigid values. The beauty of the gym and its hygiene are impeccable. The independence of the gym makes it unique where everyone with a good spirit will always be welcome and well received whatever their origin, level, age

Paul Di Marco: I went at noon on a Friday for the very first time, free trial class. As a brown belt and practitioner of 10 years, I was thoroughly impressed. Anytime you get to learn/train with literal world champions, like Brianna it’s an opportunity not to be missed. Everyone was really friendly and I got to train with all 5 belt levels. Enjoyed seeing many different styles and I definitely see myself becoming a full time Mizu student in the future, a 5 star first time experience.

Brianna Ste-Marie: Vibes, rolls, facility 11/10

Chris Parisella: Where to start...I finished the 12-week beginner jiu-jitsu class a bit over a month ago, but have continued attending the beginner sessions as well as the no-gi advanced sessions. Never having done martial arts, I was a bit unsure of what to expect from these classes, the gym's community, and the sport overall. That said, my time spent at Mizu has been an absolute joy, and I'm quickly falling in love with the sport. The coaches have been incredibly friendly, helpful, and patient in their instruction, and I really appreciate the overall "vibe" of the space and community. A huge thank you to Val, Ariane, Steve, Brianna, and Pierre-Olivier—and everyone else! Looking forward to all the lessons and rolls to come.

Armand Naregian: Lots of oss and great jiu jitsu!

hana letic: . All the other jiu jitsu classes are great as well, there is always something cool to learn regardless of jiu jitsu style and age.Gym and changing rooms are clean. Everyone is respectful and welcoming. Women's only class is a HUGE bonus!

Hunter Tilden: I moved to Montreal this past year and tried out a handful of club around the city. Mizu is head and shoulders above them. From expert world class instructors to the welcoming and friendly faces you see day to day. Should make it a priority to drop in if you have the chance.

MP89 2021: Where to begin. Gym owners and instructors Val & Jenia have found a good recipe which delivers a great gym culture. They are both very welcoming and put safety first at all times. Another great duo is Ariane and Stephen. This power couple share their passion for jiujitsu with all levels. Their ability to teach in such a manner that is so easily understood is truly not highlighted enough. They are both always super welcoming and super fun to train with. Brianna Ste-Marie is just such a gem. From world class techniques to comedic segments she just has the recipe to keep the room engaged all while having fun and developing. Pierre Oliver aka P.O delivers great techniques. He always makes sure to cover all important details for success. P.O is super accessible and always willing to review things pre & post class no matter. Special mention to all the members of the gym who truly are all just great. Overall mizu truly delivers on all fronts. Weather your simply trying to get out your comfort zone and take up a new sport or trying to learn and develop with the goals of competing, Mizu can surely help guide you on your journey to your destination.

Lance McClean: Dropped in while in Montreal for business. Facility is clean and mats are great. The instruction and training culture of the gym is top notch.

Hugo Despagne: I started beginner classes 6 months ago and am now slowly getting used to the normal classes with rolls. Can only say good things about this gym, the classes are top notch and everyone from the instructors, owner, to the training partners are incredibly welcoming. The beginner classes are a very good way to get used to what can be an intimidating sport to start.Just come with a good attitude and you’ll be rewarded with high quality BJJ and an amazing community.

Lamia: Both my sons go here and absolutely love it! Very friendly and professional training team.

Emanuel Petre: They are just awesome all around.

Sophia: Extremely women and beginner friendly. All the instructors are very qualified and helpful. If you're a woman looking for a safe, encouraging and comfortable place to start bjj, this is the place!!

Jessica Girona: Mizu, a second home!

Crow Training Center Montreal: what do users think?

V J: Easily the best atmosphere you can ask for. The BJJ is solid, old-school with the gi, new-school nogi, with intense wrestling on Saturdays. The gym is clean AF, we're talking cleaned mats and walls between classes, people bringing a change of clothes when doing multiple classes, showers and even deodorant for everyone who needs it.Coach David has created a small place with everything you need, great instruction, endless potential and a positive, yet organized and disciplined place. It' for fighters, hobbyists and martial art enthusiasts. I cannot say enough great things about this gym.

Jonathan Chartier: . This gym is everything you could ever need. Whether you are training to be a fighter or just need to stay in shape in a positive environment. This is the place.Coaches Thomas and David are so knowledgeable and excellent teachers. Whether you want to box, wrestle, do bjj or muay thai/kickboxing, you will get nothing but the best advice and training. There are no egos here, no cliques, no egos. The prices are unbeatable and you get to train with amazing people. You will always feel welcome.Signing up to this gym was easily one of the best decisions I ever made and I consider it such a privilege to be able to learn from such amazing teachers.Oss!

Abhijot Singh: This is what i call a place of true peace ☮️ best gym i have ever trained in, all the coaches are very respectful, understanding, experienced and skilled. I have learned so much through their lessons their hard work and dedication towards the training is unbeatable. Coach david and coach thomas oss🙏🏾☮️🔥

Sergey S: Amazing place. Really friendly staff and not to mention being trained by the a Canadian MMA legend. David Loiseau. And he is there every day, always smiling and joking around with us.Thomas is just a phenomenal trainer as well, he knows how to make a class fun and intensive.

mike pettipas: Number 1 martial arts gym in Montreal

Olga Rozin: At first I was really nervous because I have zero background in martial arts. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone a little and try something different but I wasn't too sure what to expect. I signed up for the Jujitsu class and ended up loving it! It's fun and a great workout too. I also have to say that I was wondering how it would go cause there are generally more men in these classes and I'm obviously not that strong, but David always finds ways to accomodate me and make it work. So if you're a woman and you're wondering if you should try this don't hesitate, I'm glad I did. Def recommend!

Alex: Best gym in town by far, Been boxing here for years

Ally Ishimwe: Positive:Communication,QualityThere is no AC in the summer so it gets really hot in there. The trainer for Muay Thai is really helpful and great but the leadership failed to create a community. So it’s a pretty cold, detached and impersonal experience. Especially from the other « students ».

Daniel Abseen: Super friendly community, amazing coaches, went in for a free trial class signed up for a membership the next day! Great involvement for all levels especially beginners who might be nervous about joining a group, this one is awesome

Axel Gizard: The Crow Training Center is a super friendly and welcoming gym. You will feel at home from the first lessons! Whether for beginners or advanced players, the coaches are attentive and always ready to give personalized advice.OSS!

Driss Benzekri: Best MMA gym, you can feel the passion and knowledge of a UFC veteran.Give it a try you won't regret it!Best MMA gym, David knows how to transmit his passion and experience.Try the free course, you won't regret it!

Loki Mr.jalapenos: Best place to train !!! Number one !!

Cava Baba: Best gym in Montreal! Best coaches and clean environment

Omar Benzekri: Best martial arts gym in CANADA, coach pushes you to your limit and further.

Larnaudie Nelson: Best martial art gym in town.

Gleb Galkin: My daughter has been going to Crow Training Center for 4 months now. This is HUGE for her!Usually, she would lose interest after 3-4 classes. We've changed a lot of schools and a lot of different physical activities. We take Jiu-Jitsu classes for kids twice a week, and I am happy with the feedback from my daughter and her progress.Thank you, David.Great job!Btw... Crow was one of the cleanest gyms I've seen.On top of it, it was renovated at the beginning of 2022.Everything looks brand new!!!

John Timothy Rosales: Friendly, community vibe and the instructors are super hands-on with leading each class. Very reasonable prices for the offering. It's a great gym for most levels of training. Looking to get in shape? This is a great place to start. Want to improve your ground or standing game? There's lots of options for that, as well. Happy that this gym is in my neighbourhood.

Irfan Abazi: I lost 65 pounds in 11 months and learned how to defend myself, respect my fellow opponents and the art of humility. You will not find a more friendly and dedicated crew of instructors and exemplary ambassadors of the Arts of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai.

Leon Benjamin: Excellent place to learn Jiu Jitsu. I love the people here, how we drill and learn from each other. One aspect I particularly want to point out is that the members here don't want to really hurt you, or break your arm off while training, so ego doesn't usually get in the way for us here. And we respect each other for that to roll longer and continue in this art.If you were looking for a practical combat based martial arts school that sticks with non-complicated stuff, then this school might be for you. You should come by and see for yourself. The staff and members are welcoming

Thaer Jleilati (TJ): Amazing place. The most warm and welcoming vibe of all the jiu jitsu dojos I've been to. Tons of fun and you learn to be a badass at jiu jitsu.

Jacques Royer: Well diversified classes, great teaching!

Apex Martial Arts Downtown: what do users think?

Estrella Goyer: We have started classes for our daughter a few weeks ago and she loves it. This is such a great place for kids to be in as they also get to see other older examples of amazing fighters. I know this is going to help her confidence, fitness, disciple, and awareness in life. Thank you Leila for being so professional and a role model for our Isabela.

Martin Jodoin: Fun and fights!! Great night, good vibes.

Siren M: I had my free trial today and I really enjoyed it. It is super intense I was sweating and I felt like I was getting a good workout. The instructor was very nice and encouraging, I had a lot of fun!

Ali Emir Tetik: I have been attending the gym for three weeks now and I can already see the positive differences in my mood, mental health, discipline and overall well being. Training really soothes and helps me. If you are living close to downtown and looking for kickbox, muay thai, wrestling or jiu jitsu this is an amazing place. Everyone who is conducting the training have been approachable and helpful.

Michael Cheevers:
