Sylvie La: I used their service today. I have been a customer since they were located very close to Côte-des-Neiges. One of my locks broke. I had my keys but I couldn't open it. It took 3 hours before Daniel arrived. Martin had told me an hour but informed me after I called that a customer had requested to have another lock installed. When Daniel the locksmith arrived, he informed me that Martin had not told him that he had to remove a lock..... He informed me that he cannot remove it that it had to be do it from the inside..... Um..... I'm confused, that's why I called you. I was in panic, being sick that day and exhausted, I asked him what should we do then? I can't stay outside like this. He tells me stop shouting I'm going to leave! I tell him I'm not shouting, I want to know how I'm going to get out of this mess? He calms down goes to his truck, I'm afraid. I call Martin, he tells me that he will call Daniel to talk to him and not to worry because Daniel is a man who has 35 years of experience and that I am in good hands. When a person is in such a bad situation, we don't tell them that we can't do anything and above all we don't tell them that we can't remove the lock. There is a solution, what I had in mind, which was to have the lock removed from the outside, was done in less than 15 minutes! The pressure dropped instantly. I am writing to educate locksmiths to reassure their customers in such situations. Being stuck outside and sick on top of that is panicking! Despite his failure to inform Daniel, Martin said the right thing and was realistic. It's not complicated to remove a lock from the outside. A neighbor and my concierge were perplexed by these comments. 15 minutes and finally it's settled! I'm sure Daniel didn't have to do this for the first time.Service:General repairs
