Larissa Terra-Muzeau: I had a consultation in gynecology with Dr Karen Buzaglo and it was wonderful. She was patient, heard all my medical history, looked into my records and made me feel comfortable all along. The consultation took 30 minutes. I felt heard, respected and well taken care of. Worth every penny!

Sophia Jab: some of the people who work on coordination lack humanism and understanding. Following a call on April 23, a lady who called me was very difficult. I tried to explain my despair to her, I expressed myself well, I asked her to find me a solution since the dates she offered me for a follow-up appointment did not correspond to those I had been told . She didn't want to know anything and she kept repeating the same things to me like a robot. I was lucky following an email that repeated everything I had said to him, I received a call from a woman Antoinette. What a gem!! Everything that was impossible and very difficult the day before turned out to be simple for her. What a beautiful person. I thank her enormously. M PER: I walk-in, no wait, very fast, I understand their phone problem, I am in the medical field, staff issue, it is very hard to find good employees, anybody who does not understand that, they don't listen to the news!!! The clinic is efficient and organized. My doctor had the result 24 hours later.

Congrats for that.I would like to make special mention of Carole who has been especially helpful.Below is what happened last mammo abit over a year ago:I scheduled a mammogram, but also needed an ultrasound.It's difficult to get on the same day or close together at all. The receptionist managed to get them both on the same day, albeit an hour and 15 minutes apart. Both technicians were excellent and I had the results from my doctor in 2 days

Dr. St-Cyr Proulx was very kind, he took the time to explain my diagnosis with a drawing and provided me all information I needed for the next steps. I asked if they could please provide me with a quote to verify whether my insurance covers these services and both Dr. and receptionist were very helpful, even though it was not their common practice to provide quotes. I am very satisfied with the attention received.

I was pleasantly surprised that they didn’t charge me for the $120 an eye scan that i don’t need. All other places i called insist that you paid for this scan. Everything went through my health card so i didn’t pay for anything.

Scorchy: I was briefly hospitalized there a few years back when I was 17 and it was an amazing hospital, everything was new and fancy, the staff was nice and understanding. The room I was put in was so big and not shared with anyone else. Probably the best hospital I've seen in Quebec. The only issue was the mediocre hospital food, otherwise it's a very nice environnement to help someone feel at ease and heal properly.

Tanvir: Had my Panniculectomy and Gynecomastia surgery done by Dr. Roy Kazan and his team. It was one of the best medical experiences I have encountered in Québec. Starting from the Medical Students, residents, nurses, attending and support staff. The McGill network at the MGH really stepped up when it came to my care and overall medical needs. Thank you to all the professionals!

Janet Ramsay: I am writing this on behalf of a friend, DD, an 80 yr old gentleman who received care at the hospital on March 14th 2024. He had fallen and incurred a head injury requiring a CT scan, referred by the Royal Victoria hospital. He was asked which MD would follow up and said he did not know. He was told “someone would contact him”. Concerned about this, he went to the Emergency dept and took number 34 and was soon seen by the nurse at the desk. He explained his situation to her and she said “this is not right, I’m going to find the answer for you”. She took his B/P, temp, O2sats and then gave him a referral sheet with an appt for a specialist. He was beyond grateful for this nurse who went over and above to help him with kindness and compassion. Her name was Nurse Colombo, and the Montreal General is very fortunate to have such a caring, efficient and kind employee. DD wants to thank her!
