Roslyn has been our family’s piano teacher for the past ten years. I highly recommend her as a piano teacher. She is always very prepared for each lesson and her enthusiasm and love of piano shines through at each and every lesson.

For many, playing the piano provides a lifetime of enjoyment. This amazing instrument allows us to study fundamentals of music such as reading musical scores, establishing a sense of rhythm, developing an ear for harmony and sound. And also, the benefits of studying piano are applicable to other areas of one’s life including self-discipline and perseverance, self-confidence, analytical skills, and more.

Mayu is a pianist/keyboardist originally coming from Japan. She began her music studies at 4 and since then she devoted her entire life to develop her musical skills and share her love for music with people.

She had more than 10 years of experience as a professional pianist and also a music teacher. Her extended performance experiences are beyond the genres. Based on her first performance style as the soloist and accompanist in classical music, she also studied Jazz which gave her a more flexible approach to perform in Pop/Rock music and also improvisations.

She successfully completed a Bachelor of Music in Faculty Program Jazz concentration at McGill University for Jazz piano study in 2019. For the classical piano performance, she completed the Stuttgart Music University Master Class (Germany) under a scholarship from the Tokyo International Association of Artists in 2010. She also passed The Associated Board of Royal College of Music Diploma (U.K.) in classical piano performance with distinction in 2009. She also completed the music production course and received her Higher Diploma certificate at the Academy of Contemporary Music (U.K.).

Her extended performing career also leads her to compose music for the exhibition of the audio and visual installation piece "a stake in the river" at the Nakanogo Biennial 2013 in collaboration with other artists. She also performed a piano improvisation at the exhibition. And also, she participated in the Stow Tango Music festival 2019 where she performed as one of the members of the Stow Tango Orchestra with maestro Nestor Marconi.

Nodar is a truly exceptional guitar teacher! I appreciate how he took the time to get to know my son and his interests before introducing him to the guitar so he could learn and play music he already enjoyed listening to. He is a gifted musician as well as an excellent teacher. He enjoys working with families and is flexible. He has my highest recommendation!

I have been taking classes with Nodar since I was 17. I am now 22 and can attest to how amazing of a teacher he is. He takes the time it needs to perfect a piece, going through every detail in a way that a student can easily understand and appreciate. He is also very understanding and flexible; if at any point I felt like I was unable to do a class/ was extremely stressed because of school/work, Nodar took the time to make it an easier and more enjoyable class. My guitar skills have increased so much, and continue to do so with every class that passes. I have had many music teachers in the past but Nodar is the best and will remain the best!
