Centaur Theatre: what do users think?

Aisling Kara Berube: The Centaur Theatre is one of my favourite places in the city. Their shows are always fantastic and I leave each one itching for the next.

Chris Brown: I went to go see the play called "The Flood". A very nice theater with great seating and polite helpful staff.

Gayle Freeman: Nice old theatre. Good plays. Tight seating. Be sure to get front row seats for extra leg room.

Tiffany: Its for sure a smaller venue but I liked that. It gives cozy vibes rather than a massive theatre like place des arts. Third row seats were terrific but basically all seats provide a good view. There is an elevator for those who cant go up the stairs. Sound was great. Staff is friendly and helpful. Its near many restaurants. Located in old Mtl,and closest metro is place d'armes but with a 6 to 8 minute walk and I wouldnt recommend to those with mobility issues as its uphill at one point. Overall loved the play and theatre. There is a waiting area that also serves drinks.

Desmond Joanes: Never disappointed in the performances. Highly recommend

Stewart Johnson: Beautiful English theatre in Old Montreal.

Centre Segal: what do users think?

Michel Condoroussis: The theatre is really nice, from the reception area to the seating it is a great place for a show as it is quite intimate and you get great programing that is hard to find anywhere else, so if you see a show that interests you, do not hesitate to go. Prices are also reasonable given the quality performances and size of the place. My issue was more with the crowd, which was quite disruptive. There were people shifting around a lot that made it feel like my seat was being kicked, the person behind me even noted it as I thought it was them, but it was not. Others were lighting up their phones or watches on a regular basis and worst of all, one group kept making banal comments throughout, just really annoying, so I will think twice before going again, which is very unfortunate. My second visit was much better, I'm glad that I tried again. Everyone was very respectful and there were no phones or other electronics being used during the show. So the crowd can make or break the evening.

James O'Doherty: Lovely, intimate venue

peter kliamenakis: First time to watch theatre and it was great. Like the Montreal street references

Marisa Charland: Great take on the book '15 dogs'. Followed closely the script of book word for word. Was fun seeing the book played out visually

Marc Travers: Had a great time going to see 15 dogs in this intimate venue. Don't think that there is a bad seat in the place and being able to purchase and bring food and drinks into the theatre was a nice change.

Liisa Shafer: My daughter and I have bought season tickets at The Segal Centre for Performing Arts for 15 years now, and even though I don't always love the plays that I see they always leave me with strong emotions. Happiness, enjoyment, surprise, anger, sadness, fear, disgust...I have felt it all at one time or another during one of their performances.Isn't that what theatre is all about? When you see a play it instills in you ideas, feelings, and emotions, and you end up asking yourself different questions, testing your boundaries, and being introduced to new concepts and ideas. Sometimes a play may even change your beliefs.Even if you don't want to buy season tickets like I do you may want to go to the Segal Centre to see a play once in a while during the season.Every seat is the best seat in the house in this intimate theater. I am continually fascinated with what they can do with their stage.I always look forward to the new theatre season!

Simona-Carmen Hodos (Simona H. Canada): Amazing events we organized between 2007 to 2017, during a decade of years of collaboration with Seagull Centre in Montréal. Warmest and creative environment and staff. Always a pleasure tocome back here! Association ROCADE

Jason Pan: The Siegel Performing Arts Center has regular performances. Although it is not a large performance venue, it is rich in content and the performers' intentions are worth appreciating!

Tanya EJ: Great theatre!

Gayle Freeman: Nice theatre. Plays are usually pretty good.

Cabaret Mado: what do users think?

Johnny Rios: . I understand French was with my English speaking partner and his brother Eddie. We enjoyed our time felt at home. Some people on here mentioned about having a hard time if you don’t speak French, to the contrary. All commentary is in French with English song, but you’re in Quebec. Learn some basic French, you’ll be fine!! Merci beaucoup Mado!’

Jen Wende: I honestly didn't expect much from this museum, and I'm so glad we went because it was wonderful! We went with another family so had 2 x 8 year olds and a 5 year old and we spent lots of time here. They had a special exhibit going on as well which made it even more fun. Personally the crystal collection blew me away. Wow. Worth it!!

Glenda Wachtel: The Parkinson photo and fashion exhibit was outstanding! What an artist!Indigenous exhibit was very well done! Informative, hard hittingly honest but hopeful too.MC Snow exhibit dovetailed perfectly with the Voices of Today. All that and a good lunch at Cafe Notkin. Always love coming to the McCord!
