Located in the art centric neighbourhood of Little Italy in Montreal QC, Studio Pierre Marchand, also familiarly know as Studio PM, was custom-built for eponym multi platinum producer (Sarah McLachlan, Rufus Wainwright, etc.) and nicknamed after a suggestion of fellow Montrealer, Leonard Cohen.
This modern construction combines a homey feeling, with the capabilities of a world class recording studio. Its naturally lit 2500 sq. ft space (230m2) can host up to 25 musicians and producers working simultaneously from 4 acoustically isolated rooms (control room, main live room, isolation booth and living room) while never losing eye contact. The instrument and gear collection is impressive and includes a Fazioli grand piano as well as a 1920’s Steinway upright.

We originally met him when he was DJ’ing an event for the McGill Med-Law Faculty party, and he was so good at the event I knew he needed to do our wedding. Fast forward a year later, and he had the entire crowd jumping and moving at our own wedding. He did music for our wedding ceremony, which was very important, and he really did an amazing job MC’ing our reception and playing a mix of classic music for our crowd, being mindful that we had an old crowd coming and they had specific tastes, while making sure the younger crowd had their taste as well. If you are thinking of using Nasir for an important event, don’t think - just do it. We did not give him a list of songs we liked and nevertheless he was able to see what type of songs our guests liked and he was able to make everyone dance all night long. He also took care of the MC part and he did not disappoint either! Great DJ great MC and extremely easy to work with. I received only positive feedbacks from my guests on the music and animation. He created personalized mixes for the sangeet performances that were part of the wedding and they were amazingly done! Our wedding was a Canadian-Indian hybrid in terms of the guests and other elements which could have been challenging for the DJ, but it turns out it wasn't at all! DJ Plink always adapted to the crowd ensuring the dance floor was never empty! He also created a personalized Snapchat filter so our guests could take nice pictures too!
