yx Sun: I had an incredible 3-hour experience with their 7-course tasting menu! My favorites were the beef steak, quail, and two desserts. The beef and quail were exceptionally tender, and the accompanying sauces were bursting with flavor. Both dishes had a divine aroma when they arrived. Even though I’m not usually a fan of sweet dishes, I thoroughly enjoyed their desserts. They struck a perfect balance, not overly sweet, and the sorbet with sponge cake combination was delightful.The meal began with a brown butter mousse amuse-bouche, followed by the sea urchin as the first course. While the brown butter mousse was delicious, the sea urchin lacked a bit of its distinctive flavor for my taste. Unfortunately, the complimentary bread was served cold and didn’t make much of an impression compared to the other outstanding dishes.The service was fantastic. They efficiently cleaned our table, and water and wine refills were prompt. However, I found the ambiance to be a bit noisy compared to Europea, where I had dined previously. Overall, it was a memorable night at this restaurant.

Montreal is famous for it's food and garde mangers reputation precedes it, but it was even better than we expected. The vibe of this place felt like it was bringing fine dining to a millenial crowd with the music and ambiance. And unlike many other fine dining establishments where the clientele skews much older, this place was packed with people between 25 and 40. The dress code ranged from smart casual to jeans.Our favorite part of the meal was how bilingual it is. My husband and friend are native French but fluent in English, so we tried using English for me. However, the meal used uncommon ingredients that they didn't know in English so our server was giving us a full rundown in English and French without missing a beat. Squirrel Friend: What an amazing restaurant. Tasting menu has a lot of quality and seasonal ingredients. The highlights of the meal for me were the crab and carrot dish as well as the mushroom oat porridge. I visited Montreal during the snow crab season, so the crab was out of this world. The porridge was savory and hearty. Service was attentive and friendly. The waitresses were so nice and sweet. One of the waitresses was also in charge of making cocktails, and the drink that I got was delicious. The restaurant is in the back of an old church and has a very unique vibe.

I appreciate a slow deliberate meal, never feeling rushed nor forgotten. The smoked oysters were delightful and the sea bass was complimented perfectly with the mushrooms and fennel.

Robert Oliver: Fantastic dinner, probably the best we had on our trip. Had the seafood special appetizer with the aoli sauce which was incredible. Beef tartar was great too! Split the New York strip with the bone marrow. Cooked to perfection and so rich with the marrow also liked the side horse radish cabbage. Someone else got the lobster pasta which was outstanding! Enjoyed the lemon sorbet thoroughly!

Will definitely go back to try what our table neighbors had, lobster spaghetti, which was a whole lobster on pasta! We spent 250$ for a shared meal with no appetizers, so expect to spend a little. Kayla Seider: My husband and I traveled to Montreal for our honeymoon and had the pleasure of dining at Bouillon Bilk. We had an incredible dining experience! The service was fantastic. Our waiter was very helpful and had a great personality. We had a oysters, scallops and the duck. The food was truly some of the best we've ever had. I am still dreaming about my scallops. We highly recommend this restaurant and hope to be back someday!

The highlight of my meal was the foie gras dessert. Yeah, it sounds kind of wrong but tastes extremely right. Almost like a banana foster with duck liver instead of ton of butter. Wine list is impressive as well. They serve d'yquem for dessert if someone is willing to drop major bucks.

They provide the best service and they have a gorgeously decorated establishment. They offer rarities like gold flaked desserts and perfectly cooked filet mignon to your taste. It’s the only place I want to go for my birthday. It’s the only restaurant that deserves special occasions in my opinion. The food is absolutely delicious and when you leave you’ll feel like you ate like royalty. I am in love with this restaurant.

Sara F: Pasta are delicious and they have a good wine selection
Carolyn Magri: Nora Gray was an excellent combination of great food, attentive service, and unhurried dinner ambiance. Simon was our waiter and checked in regularly with us; he answered all of our questions and selected a wine to go with my dinner. The hostess also made a huge difference by seating new diners in different corners of the room rather than lumping everyone into the same section. Everything we ate was delicious, but the pastas stood out in particular. The sauces were extremely fresh and vibrant, and my pappardelle was made in-house that day and basically melted in the mouth. Between the generous amount of snow crab in my pasta and the huge, impeccably seared sea scallops I had for secondi, this place more than scratched my itch for seafood. We finished the meal with their in-house salted caramel gelato, amaretti, and espresso as a dessert, which I would highly recommend. We will definitely be back here the next time we're in Montreal.

Adam Djourian: Nora Grey is a highly celebrated restaurant in Montreal. In terms of service and atmosphere, I can see why. The food though? Good, but way overpriced. Like WAY overpriced.60$ for half a bavette, and a salad that's been hit with an Exterminatus of parmesan. To illustrate why this is crazy, a steak-frites at Au Pied De Cochon is 40$.45$ for gnocchi, fettucini ragu and 2 other pasta dishes.The food ia good, don't get me wrong, but nothing about it stands out to justify the price point. And frankly, I make a better ragu.Being italian, it's hard to recommend ANY italian place, but unless you're trying to impress someone who's never had italian food, I would not recommend going.

We shared a couple very good and fresh appetizers and then both had incredible pasta. OY CN: Came with a group of seven, which meant had to have the table d'hote. This was fine because it gave us a nice selection to share. When we arrived, the small spot was loud and already crowded for a Thursday night. It was a little too loud and crowded for a refined experience. We had a booth for 6, but remember, there were 7 of us, so it was tight quarters! We started with foccacia with excellent olive oil and spicy pepper dip. Entrees and pasta were substantial and flavourful. I enjoyed the burratta and gnochi. The ravioli was also a hit, with a nice toothsome feel to the al dente pasta. The steak and seared pork was excellent and well seasoned. They provided an order of giant seared scallops for our non-red meat eating friend. The scallops may have been the best thing on the table! The desserts were tasty but not exemplary, but the espresso drinks were very good. For $150 total per person, we felt we received plenty of food and options. However, the loud, hectic atmosphere and the very cramped seating detracted from an otherwise interesting gastronomic experience.

Seeing other photos of the menu I guess they rotate the plate quite often. All the options were really appealing, and we are really happy with what we ordered.The price is expensive, but for a different restaurant experience it was nice. Kevin Amestoy: Conveniently located right across the street from the Sheraton hotel if you plan to stay there this taphouse style bar has many beers on tap to choose from. Be ready to spend some $$ as the prices are quite high. I got one of the seasonal rotating brews which was like a Hefeweizen, very refreshing. The vibe was chill and quite when I arrived.
