Deborah B: I met Dr. Gilardino several years ago when he repaired my daughter’s broken finger at the Montreal Children’s hospital and had witnessed his warm, reassuring demeanour with childrenand their nervous parents. I was also aware of his stellar reputation in his chosen field.My experience at Le 1620 began in January 2023. The atmosphere at the clinic was exactly what I hoped to find. The clinic itself is light, spacious, spotlessly clean, and comfortable.In consultation, Dr. Gilardino explained what could be done, how it would be done, as well as what I could anticipate throughout the process and beyond. He attentively listened and provided comprehensive answers to my questions. I left the office with a quotation, confident in my decision.From the pre-op appointments to the post-operative ones, I was provided with ample documentation and guidance to facilitate navigation of all phases of the process. I was aware that someone would be reachable at any time of the day or night if the need arose. I felt encouraged by everyone and optimistic at all times. All the nursing staff were most comforting and helpful. The beginning was very hard, I am a slow healer and the first 3 months I was very swollen, my nose was sitting very high because of this and it was not going well. After the 3rd-4th month things started improving quickly and now at a year I am very happy. You have to be patient and let yourself heal to see the full result. Josée Verreault: I had been thinking about a rhinoplasty for 28 years... and I was very anxious and ambivalent about taking the plunge at 42. I first chose this clinic because of the comments, yes, but also because of the method proposed, more expensive, but which promised a rapid recovery. So I placed all my trust and hopes on this choice, having been really self-conscious about my nose since high school, and finally decided to take action once and for all!Today is my 12th day post-op. Observation: it’s the best decision I’ve made in my entire life! The team, as well as Dr Samaha, were very friendly, professional and reassuring. The doctor immediately understood my needs and my expectations, and respected them. He has a very realistic and honest approach to the result. He didn't make me a false promise. Everyone around me is very impressed by the natural result of my surgery, and above all, by the speed of my recovery. Only those closest to me can notice the difference, and that's exactly what I was hoping for. I took 4 acetaminophens total after surgery to relieve mild discomfort. I had very little swelling and bruising after the procedure, and it's pretty much gone already! The doctor even called me the following Saturday evening to check on me!!I was able to resume my activities very quickly. I look at myself in the mirror, and I finally feel free from an immense weight. I finally look like what I always wanted to look like. I am already much more enthusiastic about life, and my self-confidence is reaching new heights. Post-surgery pain is low, let's talk more about discomfort the first days. I was able to resume my social activities after two weeks with already barely visible scars. Scorchy: I was briefly hospitalized there a few years back when I was 17 and it was an amazing hospital, everything was new and fancy, the staff was nice and understanding. The room I was put in was so big and not shared with anyone else. Probably the best hospital I've seen in Quebec. The only issue was the mediocre hospital food, otherwise it's a very nice environnement to help someone feel at ease and heal properly.

Victoria Barbieri (VicBarbieri): In November 2023 I decided to get some Botox to pander to my vanity, at Dr. Papanastasious office. First I was greeted by their receptionist Megan with a lovely smile and warm welcome, I only waited a few minutes in their spacious waiting room for Nurse Jessica. She was so understanding of what I was looking for and delivered treatment with gentle care. She also explained what she was doing step by step and checked in to make sure I was handling it all right often. When I was done the transaction was handled at the front again by Megan quickly and efficiently and she even offered me a bottle of water when I said I felt a little faint. I loved that I got to come back two weeks later for a touch up because my body reacted to the Botox and I needed a little more to achieve the look I wanted. Over all, a great clinic.
