Chris Aung-Thwin: Great old school butcher with nice Hungarian and Polish products. The spicy sausages are excellent - anytime I serve them alone or as part of a dish people always ask about them. Also one of the more reasonably-priced rib steaks around.
E: My dad has been going to this deli since the 80s. We're in Ottawa, and used to be able to do the trip very frequently. Now that he can't, I stop by every time I'm in Montreal and buy some meats as gifts. Anyone I have ever given sausages to becomes absolutely obsessed. You can't get this kind of quality anymore.Joe is amazing, and I look forward to seeing him when I go.

Sadman Islam: Got a $150 A5 wagyu ribeye from them, which developed a dark brown colour overnight and smelled really bad when I went to cook it the next day. Needless to say, the steak went bad and I trashed the entire steak. When I went to show the guys at the shop my pictures, they apologized for the quality of the product and immediately replaced it with with a new like for like Wagyu and even added a can of Foie Gras and some saucissons. 5 stars for their excellent customer service!

Thankfully I walked by Boucherie Hongroise and saw a little soup and sandwich counter. Let me tell you, the spicy sausage sandwich with mustard and sauerkraut was so simple and delicious that I haven’t stopped thinking about it for a week. The bread was so soft and that sausage with a nice kick! I will be back the minute I’m in Montreal again.

MAS ICE: Came across this wonderful place by chance in traffic and I’m so happy I did the food and service were excellent and very accommodating. One of the best sausages I’ve ever had hands down . I can’t Waite to go back and try some new stuff. I recommend this place to everyone
