She was patient, heard all my medical history, looked into my records and made me feel comfortable all along. The consultation took 30 minutes. I felt heard, respected and well taken care of. A: I will never forget the experience I had in this hospital. My 80-year-old dad was transferred to this hospital after having such a bad experience with.CITE DE LA SANTE. Unfortunately, my dad spent three weeks in the coronary unit at this disgusting hospital until I demanded that they transfer him to INSTITUTE DE CARDIOLOGY. On April 25, he was transferred and from the moment I stepped Foot in the hospital, it was such an amazing experience! From the doctors, to the nurses, to the caregivers, it was all such a positive experience. Unfortunately, my father did not make it, but I That they did everything possible for him to survive, but unfortunately, due to the fact that he had a heart attack and a very bad valve, there was nothing they could’ve done more. If you or your loved ones have any issue please do not go anywhere else, but this hospital. They are number one in my book. I can assure you that they will take care of your loved ones as though it was theirs. I want to give a special thanks to nurse TAMARRA Who was absolutely incredible. She really took care of my father. Even in his last minute of his life, he thanked her for such a great job. Hospitals in the public sector should all take notes Regarding how a hospital should really be like.

Miss Y: Dr. Neal Mahutte and Dr. Ouhilal are rare gems! I've been trying to get pregnant for over 3 years with other clinics, without success. I had a first meeting with Dr. Ouhilal, she was the one who chose the treatment, the medications and the dosage. I can tell you that she was not mistaken and gave me treatment adapted to my situation. Afterwards I continued the ultrasounds, the egg collection and the transfer with Dr. Mahutte. From the first visit I immediately felt that I was in good hands, this man inspires confidence. He is so kind, patient and reassuring, but above all very competent, just like his partner. We did 1 cycle of IVF with him and I got pregnant on the first try of the first transfer. A miracle. Many thanks Dr. Mahutte and Dr. Ouhilal for everything you have done for me and my partner, we will be grateful to you for life and we will recommend you to other couples with our eyes closed ❤️. Thanks also to Bonnie and all the staff, you are an outstanding team.

Juliana MH: makes me realize that people will only leave reviews if they are very satisfied or very dissatisfied. The thing with anything brain-related is that you, the patient, need to be completely open and transparent about what is bothering you so that you can get proper treatment that works. You also need to go in there with the mindset that you’re there to get well. If you don’t put the effort into taking care of yourself, of course your treatment won’t work because failure is a self-fulfilling prophecy. My treatments didn’t come with no side effects, but side effects for any type of infusion or medication should be expected. I was very open about how I was feeling when the nurses called me the day after my treatment, and I think my honesty helped achieve better results. There were a couple treatments that I was interested in but didn’t qualify for, and they explained why, which was appreciated. The environment was definitely designed to make the patient feel safe and comfortable, which is definitely a good thing seeing as some treatments can be very scary

Chris G: The medical specialist clinic on the 5th floor is truly excellent, the reception staff went out of their way to help me and I was able to see the specialist I needed promptly, despite the confusion caused by a referral that was lost in transit. I was fully expecting and prepared to wait or deal with some technical issues, but it was all handled very smoothly. They know how to run a clinic and they care about the people who come to them.

Tanvir: Had my Panniculectomy and Gynecomastia surgery done by Dr. Roy Kazan and his team. It was one of the best medical experiences I have encountered in Québec. Starting from the Medical Students, residents, nurses, attending and support staff. The McGill network at the MGH really stepped up when it came to my care and overall medical needs. Thank you to all the professionals!
Janet Ramsay: I am writing this on behalf of a friend, DD, an 80 yr old gentleman who received care at the hospital on March 14th 2024. He had fallen and incurred a head injury requiring a CT scan, referred by the Royal Victoria hospital. He was asked which MD would follow up and said he did not know. He was told “someone would contact him”. Concerned about this, he went to the Emergency dept and took number 34 and was soon seen by the nurse at the desk. He explained his situation to her and she said “this is not right, I’m going to find the answer for you”. She took his B/P, temp, O2sats and then gave him a referral sheet with an appt for a specialist. He was beyond grateful for this nurse who went over and above to help him with kindness and compassion. Her name was Nurse Colombo, and the Montreal General is very fortunate to have such a caring, efficient and kind employee. DD wants to thank her!
