Ming Tao Xuan: what do users think?

Michael Seetahal: Amazing variety of loose leave teas and a great variety of tea-wares.Easily could spend an hour browsing and not realize.Timing the opening days and hours was a little difficult tho.

何Tiffany: Service: 5/5

Andres Vialpando (Drezworthy): Recommended to lovers of fine tea! Was pleasantly surprised to discover this tea shop. I wasn't expecting it. Run by Mr. and Mrs. Lee from Hong Kong. An assortment of tea ware and good quality loose leaf Chinese teas. Bought some fresh spring Cui Ming green tea, some Ali Shan Oolong and some Jin Jun Mei from them and they were all very good and priced reasonably. Not cheap though. The Cui Ming especially impressed me. Bought some great inexpensive cups from them. Didn't get a long look at their tea ware but seemed extensive with options for any budget. I only ever knew about Camellia sinensis tea house before but I will definitely stop by here too any time I am in Montreal!

Stamatis Kakleas: Visited here a long time ago and it still was one of the best memories I've had in Montreal to date. It transports you out of Montreal, which is the real magic in the experience. Would recommended to any visitor. Great teas and service!

xibang lin: My good old friends and memories

Francis Harrisson: Very good tea

D'un Thé à L'autre: what do users think?

Jade Cantin-Lefebvre: Excellent customer service! You have to follow the signs outside to find it. Very good price for the quantity. For a bag that offers around twenty teas, it’s only around $8. There is a great diversity in the choices of teas.

Giancarlo Zito: The best place for Tea in town! The staff is very knowledgeable, ask for "le choix du chef" which is the daily special cooked up fresh everyday.Recently, I started to notice the Tea has been giving me magical powers... Warning: Do not drink ceremonial matcha at work! I literally ripped door off the wall after consuming.

Louise Louise: Very good iced tea.

Wil BIL: Top quality thea, the staff is very knowledgeable!

Jean-Christophe Falchi: Good teas and herbal teas, delicious and above all without artificial flavors. Wide variety. Very kind. I converted all my colleagues!

Samuel Giguère: I drank delicious black tea.Lots of interesting choices and nice little counter to sit at! #1

Jennifer C.: Love the staff, love the place. I come here a couple of days every week to get some tea and the service is always quick!

Camellia Sinensis Tea Room: what do users think?

Max Klemes: Store is fantastic. Tea tasting is great. Tea quality is great. Surprisingly good prices in aged raw puer also… a fine shop!

Jasmine Grégoire: First of all, it’s really the best tea for me, their choice on the menu is very distinguished. They serve us a little tea tasting to start! Then treat us with great care, making sure we make the right choice for our needs. The gentleman advised me very well on my choices of tea/herbal teas. A big thank you! Customer experience is always A1!

C C: We love this shop! We visited a few years ago, had amazing services and picked up one amazing tea. Enjoyed it!! And then - being from Ontario - we learned about their online shopping experience, and have been ordering for a little while. Orders ship so fast, and teas are amazing - so many options!! Love them!

Jonathan HEUZE: Superb store, quality of sublime teas, welcome and quality advice. I highly recommend. A little expensive at the same time the price of the quality.

Abdoul Aziz SANTARA: Excellent...

Christine G: Very beautiful place, and definitely interesting experience. Staff was very knowledgeable about teas and it was something that will stick with me!

Jason Topolski: Totally different from the tea you buy at the supermarket, in the best ways possible! I will definitely be back for more.

Maxime Beaudoin: THE place to buy tea.

Viau Christian: Charming little shop where you can find tea, herbal teas and other hot beverages. Can we say in bulk? it was in a sealed non-recyclable envelope, unfortunately!!. It was my first visit, so I hope we can refill this bag with other herbs, herbal teas or similar. You can also have a hot drink on site. Great thank you for the answer I will indeed refill

Véronique NG: This is my favorite tea shop in Montreal. Whether you are looking for a specific type of tea, tea from a particular provenance or simply looking for a new favorite, there will be options to satisfy you. The staff knows the products well and can advise you. It is also possible to taste on site. I am always tempted by the magnificent artisanal teapots and gaiwans also available at the store.

Jonathan Riverin: that I had to take off my shoes, put them in the bin

Ananas Pgg: so be careful if you want to visit. The two people running both the shop and the cafe are really friendly and charming and the atmosphere in the cafe is very relaxed and peaceful thanks to all the plants. The library in which it is possible to consult books on Japan and tea is a great idea that makes you want to read.

Cam ille: to be bland, but it was quite the opposite. It's great to find places with Japanese dishes and desserts, without it being limited to the eternal sushi. Note: they offer gluten-free options. For a first experience, it was fantastic. I can't wait to go back and try the other items on their menu.

The Gryphon D'Or Tea Room: what do users think?

Caroline Saindon: Loved it!Had the whole tea service, everyone was extra kind and the food was just *chef's kiss*. We didn't feel rush to eat and leave. The scones with the choices of homemade jam is definitely a must.100% recommend and will visit again

A. Nonymous: . The service we received was impeccable and the staff are sweet, friendly, welcoming and hilarious :

K M: , English breakfast tea mixed with a berry tea, and afternoon tea with yummy sandwiches and an assortment of desserts! We moved tables after a big group came, but it was fine!Long review:Absolutely LOVE this place. I've been going since 2019 and will always keep coming back. My first impression in 2019 was how warm and homey the place felt. Ciaran, the guy working the floor and the register at the time, was such a lovely presence, and always offered an extra scone after I had excitedly finished my first two haha. BEST SCONES, hands down. After the early years of the pandemic, I stopped seeing Ciaran there, and instead met Kate and Donna! I hope I'm getting the names right. Donna is a star and approached my partner and I when we were speaking, maybe a little too loudly haha, about wanting to recreate their lemon curd at home! She told us all that was in it without sharing secrets, and it was just so lovely. Again, I feel so at home with how friendly and casual the staff is :

Jillian Agustin: We reserved the tea room as a large group of ~20 people, and we were blown away with the service, quality and ambience.Firstly, we really appreciated the cozy, laid-back atmosphere. The food was delicious and filling, many of us had to bring home leftovers as we were too stuffed. The quality of the food was great too, the standouts being the freshly baked scones, phyllo cups and the mini-cheesecakes. Above all, the service was excellent. The waitstaff were lovely, congenial and attentive. For many of us, this was our first experience having afternoon tea, and I can confidently say that the Gryphon D’Or set the bar high! Would definitely go back in the future and highly recommend.

Katrina Caruso: - I always get the lemon curd and berries french toast because it is delicious. Also the staff are all super nice. They gave us some scones to go at the end of our brunch because they felt bad about another reservation needing out table, it was so kind

r t: with a side of salad and soup all made fresh and in-house. There were options for both meat eaters and vegetarians, but less so for vegans, as many ingredients contained dairy. For dessert, we had bite-sized shortbread cookies, butter tarts, and carrot cake - all incredibly delicious. Our meal also came with a pot of tea which we were allowed to sample and switch, should we have felt inclined to. Thank you for the wonderful experience, we certainly plan on returning !Note: They only accept Cash or Interac E-transfer and reservations are required as there is very limited seating.

Lauren Cosenza: , and that was kind of the point. It was really good value for the amount of food we received while still being accessible for our budget. On to the food...the highlights for me were the scones and the desserts. Every bite was phenomenal and we loved the assortment of different toppings for the scones. The brownies were amazing. The sandwiches and salmon and veggie cups were great too. I enjoyed every bite of food I had. They did forget to write a little happy birthday for our friend, but we were enjoying ourselves so much we didn't even notice. The waiter very cleverly asked us which scone toppings we preferred under the guise of curiosity, but they apologized for forgetting the birthday and sent each of us home with an extra scone and cookie and our respective favorite topping. Totally unexpected and unnecessary, but we really appreciated it a lot. I can't wait to come back for a date with my boyfriend

Cecilia Tavarozzi: All I can say is I wish I had discovered this little gem years ago. So cozy & such a friendly & generous staff. As for the food, everything was perfect & so fresh. The scones were served hot with their homemade jams, creams & custards. The assortment of petit fours were absolutely delicious. I can’t pick a favourite as they were all so yummy & moist. We almost cleaned out the 3-tier plate, but then were ready to burst. I’m definitely going back & you should go too.

Bénédicte Lajoie: staff was amazing and very accommodating towards my dietary preferences.food was great, although i would personally prefer more savoury options for the tea service.also, i wish the egg salad sandwich had something a bit more special to it, as it was a bit bland.Dietary restrictions: very accommodating

prisci BK: First experience of high tea. Was expecting something more fancy but it was a different style : very Canadian and cozy in simplicity. It was pleasant specially due to the nice circle of friends. The place is quite small. Don't go with big groups; you won't be seated together. The max they can fit together is 6 persons.. the tea and the food were good...a little bit pricey I believe for what they serve for the high tea. They do offer lunch or dinner menu as well.. it was hard to find the place; should be more visible from the outside. Parking in the street...paid ones.

Mina Riley: Hands down, the best tea experience! I selected this tea room out of several I researched because it looked warm and inviting, and it did not disappoint! Kate was our server and she was pleasant, and overall phenomenal. From the tea, to the food to the service. Everything was a 10/10 and I took lots of goodies home. I live in the U.S, but I will definitely make this place a staple anytime I am in Montreal!

Un Amour des Thés: what do users think?

Chloé hrt: The best tea shop in Montreal! First of all, the quality of the tea is much higher than what you find elsewhere, special mention for the green tea with blueberries which has become my favorite! In addition, the manager of this establishment is absolutely friendly and will give you excellent advice!!! All this for more than reasonable prices, it deserves 5 stars 100%

Amandine Placide: A very warm welcome and very friendly employees!

L. D.: The seller was extremely kind and offered original teas and herbal teas. The teas are of very good quality, and the hot chocolate to take away was delicious! We left with more than we thought we would buy. I highly recommend this store!

Simon Paindavoine: and I was served a real tea as I imagined. The seller has a lot of love and passion for tea, and it shows. He listens and will delight all tea lovers. The smells in the salon are fascinating and make you want to try everything available.

Talar: Best tea shop in Montreal. Alot of variety and service is 👌. Worth the drive from Laval. You won't be disappointed

Miyuki Savelle: I am very impressed. I ordered some Spring Sweetness as a souvenir for my trip back to Japan. When I went to the store, I found a lot of tea leaves lined up in a stylish space. Richard explained in detail about the teas I ordered. He also allowed us to taste the teas. Thank you very much for giving us a very comfortable time. I will definitely go back when I return from Japan. I am sure my friends in Japan will be very happy with Spring Sweetness. Thank you Richard.

François Gagnon: What a great discovery this tea shop is. This was our first visit and it certainly won't be our last. The welcome from the owners was really very warm. Thank you for taking the time to explain to us certain particularities and details concerning the teas. Thank you also for the tasting. Very generous of you.I wouldn't want to forget the cashier who did an impeccable job. Thank you for introducing us to new flavors according to our tastes. For tea lovers, take a little detour to “A love of teas” and you won’t regret it.Signed: the couple on a motorbike on this beautiful October day.

Farideh Fernandez: Excellent

Camille Tardif: If you want to have exceptional service, look no further, this is where you will find it! Thank you to Richard for his service, his kindness and the happiness he shares by introducing us to his teas!

alyson Pilote: Good service, owner takes the time to chat with you and make you comfortable. Know your products well. Super generous too! Thanks for the good time.

Marie Lambert: Very nice shop where the staff are attentive and above all passionate about tea. Excellent service

olivier krief: .

Garyson: I normally don't do reviews, to be honest, since they aren't really my thing. However, in this case, I feel that I should as the service was fantastic! The person whom I talked to was wonderfully knowledgeable in the matter of tea, and helped guide me through their selection. Not only that, but they were incredibly friendly too, and seemed to have a good relationsip with their colleague which is always good to see!Their tea selection was also lovely. I had previously gone to David's Tea, but their blends were far too 'out there' for me. This places has a far wider range of teas that are more traditional, which was more my style. I should also mention that they gave me a free bag of a completely different tea to try.In short, I felt myself talking to someone who had, well, a love of tea, rather than someone simply trying to sell me a product.I'll definitely be coming back!

Mathis Desbaumes: They gave me samples representing what I was interested in and I appreciated the teas they gave me and the infusion recommendations too.

Chantal Jolicoeur: A great discovery. The owner, without pretension or sales pressure, generously took the time to share his knowledge and passion for tea. Thank you, Richard, for whetting my taste buds. My morning tea will taste even better.

Muriel Rajaonina: Amour des thés is wonderful for quality teas, and the love for tea fills the place. So glad I found you guys.

@ Matcha: what do users think?

Esther: the owner is himself a gem as much as this shop is. first, he allowed us in although the shop was closing very soon. he generously allowed us to taste many drinks on the menu, from refreshing to hearty, there’s something for everyone. we learned so much about teas and their benefits on our health, he genuinely was so passionate and wholesome. i cannot describe this how enriching this experience was, recommend +++

Christian Trenchev: Whether or not you are a matcha fan, you absolutely have to pay this shop a visit! From the incredibly warm welcome of the owner, to the insights into a wide variety of teas and their specific health benefits and harvesting processes, the rich aromas and rainbow of tastes you will experience from the unique and thoughtful menu to the grounding atmosphere, this is undoubtedly my current hidden gem of Montreal.

Isabelle Piché: An unmissable detour for a completely unique matcha experience 🏼💚✨

Laura AO: Nestor is a scholar when it comes to tea.Furthermore, the combinations he offers are always excellent. It’s a place that advocates disconnection, forget your computer. Here you are there to discuss or even meditate.I really recommend this place!

Jocelyn Poon: Wow. Words cannot describe this fine establishment. Nestor is incredibly well versed in Asian culture. My friend spoke so highly of this place that I had to give it a visit. As I walked through the door, I was greeted by zen. Truly a warm and welcoming sanctuary in this cold Montreal tundra. If I did not have class, I could have spent hours here. An educational, cultural and culinary experience all in 1. I will definitely be back soon. Best matcha ever

Thés Guru Teas: what do users think?

Annyra Ly: The service, the atmosphere and the vibe is very a friendly and cozy ambiance, it's a absolute yes for me if I want to study/ stay in a quiet environnement I tried a special drink dessert icecream with soy milk inside and it wasn't not too sweet and refreshing which was perfect for me!! ☆♡Incredible decor inside, it has a lot of varieties of tea bags, goodies, tea set perfect for gifts 🎁,matcha drink, dessert, whenever hot or cold format including non dairy option and will definitely come back again when I'm craving to drink some matcha 😋🍵

Alicia Brind'amour-Rousse: .For the moment, I haven't had the opportunity to participate in their workshops, but they look super interesting. To be continued...😍💓 🍵 🍧Vegetarian options: Non-dairy optionsDietary restrictions: Non-dairy options

Ru Brvn: I am a very big fan of their matcha and their know-how. I've been going there for several years now. In my opinion, this is the best place in Montreal! I always receive a lovely warm welcome and the owners are super nice.

Sarah Cl: Basically I didn't like matcha. Then I saw a video on the different matchas and their qualities, I said to myself that I should try some elsewhere. And this place is ideal for that, I come every weekend to try something that I haven't tried before and honestly I can say that I like matcha, I just came across a poor quality one before. The customer service is great, the place is very beautiful, I recommend

rostom bensalem: .I bought tea there that I love so much that I discovered a love for this drink even though I had never had a taste for it

Centre Taiyo: sleep better, get through menopause, boost immune system, etc etc.Dishes and presentation of yummy snacks and drinks 🍵 are very cute 🌸Lots of teaware to choose from….

Claudia Savard: For exceptional teas and advice: this is the place! When you try it once, you come back for life. Pastries and matcha chocolate to try. Also offers workshops to learn to appreciate tea varieties even more. A must-see place if you have an interest and curiosity for quality teas.Vegetarian options: Ice cream and several vegan pastries. Plant-based drink options.

Pascal Provost: Always excellent quality teas

Cardinal Tearoom: what do users think?

Nina Brennan: The atmosphere is cozy, the tea is great and the service is always good. Best to get a reservation on weekend days, since it does tend to get busy. Highly recommend if you want a nice afternoon to catch up on some “tea” with friends or even if you want to take yourself out!Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Smoked Trout Sandwich, High Tea for Two, English Breakfast, Cucumber Sandwich, Smoked Trout, Sandwich Saumon Fumé, Mini Scones with Clotted Cream and Jam, Smoked Salmon, Curried Deviled Egg …

M M-L: An adorable, friendly, caring service.A variety of interesting dishes though, a little too salty for our taste.Very reasonable prices.I recommend and will return again.

Hira: I absolutely love this place! It's my second time going there and it's even better than I remember.I had made a reservation and requested a table in an intimate spot with nice comfy chairs and they fully respected my request. They also made recommendations when they saw that my friend and I were struggling to decide what to order.I loved the food, the tea and their service.

Shama Huq: . Perfect place to while away some time while leisurely sipping on tea, eating & chatting. Gets very busy on the weekends so reservations are recommended.

Naika David: I liked the the ambiance and decor of this place.I feel like the service can be improved. Each places have their own menu and it’s nice when the menu is exclaimed with suggestions of popular options …The savoury dishes were lacking taste and only the brownie got us excited.I would probably go back but just for tea.

Terra Coffee And Tea Ltd: what do users think?

Alireza Razaghi: The best roaster in Montreal.

Soumia Idrissi: It's my little corner of paradise. Every time I come from Laval, I can't wait to get my coffee. Excellent products and excellent service

Stephen “picklebarrel” Rudolph: I order green coffee from many places, and i just logged all my roasts on a spreadsheet and where they were bought.. and ALL my 5 star ratings were from Terra !!!!!!!!I suppose I just found my FAVORITE supplier !the only thing is that you are the only supplier who does not offer one pound bags.. I prefer a smaller amount to test out... just a thought !

Karine Theurillat: Thank you for the contest

Keven: Thank you for this competition 😋

Line Simard: The first choice for first class service and advice!

Khaled Atassi: amazing

Orleans Coffee: Don't hesitate to do business with Terra!I'm a small roaster located in Ottawa. Finding suppliers of coffee willing to send smaller quantities of green coffee is nearly impossible. Carlo and his team at Terra offer this service and they do it with a customer service mindset that is hard to match. The team at Terra seems to intimately understand the difficulties we face as micro-roasters, and manage to provide a wide variety of specialty coffee at reasonable prices with low shipping costs. In all my dealings with them over several years, I have always been impressed with their passion and their dedication to doing the right thing for clients.Thank you Carlo and team. You're the best.

Emina Ovnovic: I love their products! It’s simply the best coffee!

alexandre crowley: One of the best bruleries in town. Very helpful and knowledgeable employees! Goccia d'Oro mix to try 🤯

Mylène Laflèche: Yum! I love iced coffee!
