4worldlovers: At any time of the year, you can regain your energy in the hotel’s heated outdoor pool on the roof of Place Bonaventure.
Since the opening of the Hotel Bonaventure, countless visitors have enjoyed this one-of-a-kind swimming pool in Montreal. Surrounded by 2.5 acres of beautiful gardens, it is as spectacular in winter as in summer.
Its location also provides an unbeatable view of the downtown buildings, giving the impression of swimming between heaven and earth. The scenery of course changes with the seasons, but the pleasure of swimming in warm, pure and crystal-clear water remains unchanged.
Lockers and padlocks are available in the changing rooms for guests to safely store their clothes and personal belongings while swimming or exercising.
During the coldest months of the year, guests can enjoy access to the pool from inside the hotel. Swimmers are therefore not forced to brave the weather when it is less mild.
The water in the Hotel Bonaventure pool is constantly maintained for the maximum comfort of our guests.

Fern Clair: Really lovely place, terrace vibes were incredible, service was great, best aperol spritz I've ever had. The burger was pretty good, but for 30 dollars it had the worst fries I've ever had. To call them fries is almost a crime as they are more potatoe wedges. Badly seasoned, kinda raw inside, and absolutely unnecessarily large.
Carl B.: Great discovery on the roof of the Place d'Armes hotel. Beautiful, good-sized terrace. There were 6 of us on a late Saturday afternoon, and there was not an intense crowd. Very beautiful view of the city and surrounding areas.I found the choice of cocktails rather limited, but they were very good.The only thing to perhaps mention and teach the waiters; When a wasp lands in a coffee or beverage and drowns, do not offer the customer the option of recovery. The drink needs to be changed. 😉Otherwise, we all loved our experience, and I will definitely return!

They included Lighting Plan to provide a feel good atmosphere. Their huge selection of materials and colours for the seat pads fits anyone's needs. Work was executed on time and as scheduled in spite of terribly cold and wet conditions. It's so beautiful we can't wait to get out and use it. Quality and efficiency are their trade marks. Sue Trad: We stayed here in April. Big room. Nice views and comfortable king bed. They cleaned the room every day. Sauna and heated pool. I guess the season hasn’t started so the river in the garden was not running. My only complaint is the shower it was difficult to figure out. You have to press a button and at the same time twist the knob to have the water started and I couldn’t figure out how to operate the hand held shower. the sink knob is twisted the opposite way. Every time I was trying to close the tap it would open even further. It must be a Quebec thing. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.Walkability: Restaurants and shops
