yx Sun: I had an incredible 3-hour experience with their 7-course tasting menu! My favorites were the beef steak, quail, and two desserts. The beef and quail were exceptionally tender, and the accompanying sauces were bursting with flavor. Both dishes had a divine aroma when they arrived. Even though I’m not usually a fan of sweet dishes, I thoroughly enjoyed their desserts. They struck a perfect balance, not overly sweet, and the sorbet with sponge cake combination was delightful.The meal began with a brown butter mousse amuse-bouche, followed by the sea urchin as the first course. While the brown butter mousse was delicious, the sea urchin lacked a bit of its distinctive flavor for my taste. Unfortunately, the complimentary bread was served cold and didn’t make much of an impression compared to the other outstanding dishes.The service was fantastic. They efficiently cleaned our table, and water and wine refills were prompt. However, I found the ambiance to be a bit noisy compared to Europea, where I had dined previously. Overall, it was a memorable night at this restaurant.

David M: We would give 6 stars out of 5 if possible. The food was unbelievable - every dish we had was beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. Highlights included the ceviche, anticucho de pieuvre, the anticucho de canard, and the papa rellena. The ambience was outstanding and the service was fantastic. Organic World Club: Top-notch French restaurant in the heart of Montreal! If you’re looking for a special experience, Europea consistently delights with some of the best food and wine in the world. The best ingredients available turned into art for the eyes and taste buds combined with great service is what drives me to come back.Some of the menu highlights included fresh mint tea, onion soup served in an onion, lobster cappuccino, and more paired with phenomenal wines; also, eye watering variety of deserts — my personal choice for best desert was the maple cotton candy.The highlight of the wine pairing was a mistery wine served in black glass. It was of course outstanding in flavor but also unique in appearance.
Vlora Ahmeti: First of all, let me start with saying this is a dining experience. The presentation is very artistic and the flavors are delicate and to be savored. It's not the type of place to go if your interested is a warm, superfilling comfort meal. Atmosphere is beautifully decorated and has nice lighting. Service was excellent, special shout out to Valentino for humoring us. Would definitely recommend for the experience if you're in Montreal for a few days.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. Hard pressed to get children to eat these things.

Michel Condoroussis: We picked the perfect day to go as we were able to sit in their large rooftop terrace right next to the Monument-National. The service was very nice and the food was very original. We started off with some cocktails and ordered food throughout and everything was great and had a nice twist to it, so they really experiment and add their own flavors. A nice spot even if a little pricey, but I think the prices are reasonable for the quality.

Martin Mounir: We had dinner there and in general, our experience was excellent. Marilyn, our server was funny and on top of her trade. The atmosphere is oldish in a good way, cozy and dark. The food was very good. I ordered Risotto with seafood and my wife had a rack of lamb. Both were delicious and just the right portion. We also had Beef tartare and it was really good. Worth trying as well as the asparagus salad which was delicious too. We’ll definitely come back.
Lukas von Arx: Probably one of the best restaurants in Montreal. Next to the regular dinner menu they had 4 daily specials. My wife has taken the beef tenderloin with fois gras and I had the Halibut. The beef tartar that I had as a starter was to die for - so delicious - prepared in a little bit unconventional way but that really lifted it up to the next level. In the adjacent bar they even had a very lovely life music playing. Service was very attentive. Really the only negative point was that it was arctic/chilly at times in there. They have a centralized AC that cannot be adjusted. So, make sure to bring a sweater. Overall a very positive experience. 5 Stars from me. We will come back next time we are in Montreal.

This dining experience was a flawless blend of sophisticated flavors and exceptional service, truly a night to remember. Derrek Nador: Update April 2024, as good as ever! Wine list, service and food were 5 stars. If you want to splurge on a special occasion this is a top spot in Montreal to do so! Superb service and food. The food speaks for itself. Fresh ingredients, delishious dishes with great flavors. The service is some of the friendliest, most bilingual ive had recently. Could be a little over bearing if you dont want someone checking in on you very often, but for me it added to the night. Duck appetizer, the duck main and the roasted quail.
Marky Marc: Beef tartare was way too salty, couldn't taste anything else. Bacon wrapped rabbit was delicious. Shucked snow crab special was great, so much easier to eat. Brussel sprouts had a nice sauce. Hibiscus ice cream sandwich was perfect, though not sure why it was wrapped up like a soap bar. Great music selection. Excellent service. House martini was like a Lemon Drop, definitely enjoyable. The recommended Cabernet red was a great accompaniment.

Love that the entrance to the restaurant is really nondescript, so unless you know what you are looking for, you wouldn't realize that through this plain looking door is an amazing restaurant with delicious vegetarian food and drinks. On occasion they also have live music.Highly recommend.Cash only, but there are ATMs close by if needed.

Montreal is famous for it's food and garde mangers reputation precedes it, but it was even better than we expected. The vibe of this place felt like it was bringing fine dining to a millenial crowd with the music and ambiance. And unlike many other fine dining establishments where the clientele skews much older, this place was packed with people between 25 and 40. The dress code ranged from smart casual to jeans.Our favorite part of the meal was how bilingual it is. My husband and friend are native French but fluent in English, so we tried using English for me. However, the meal used uncommon ingredients that they didn't know in English so our server was giving us a full rundown in English and French without missing a beat. Mikey: We had a memorable meal at XO Le Restaurant when we visited Montreal. The decor and service were top notch, which was to be expected for the range of pricing though ambiance was a bit too formal for our liking.My plate of foie gras was well plated, but what stole the show was the sea bass which was pan seared to perfection. Even years since we had this meal, we still reminisce about that pan seared fish!

They provide the best service and they have a gorgeously decorated establishment. They offer rarities like gold flaked desserts and perfectly cooked filet mignon to your taste. It’s the only place I want to go for my birthday. It’s the only restaurant that deserves special occasions in my opinion. The food is absolutely delicious and when you leave you’ll feel like you ate like royalty. I am in love with this restaurant.
