Le Wagon Montréal Coding Bootcamp: what do users think?

Laura Gonzalez Zuluaga: I'm a graphic designer who decided to become a developer a while ago. I already had experience in the field and I knew a bit of coding thanks to some online courses, but I felt that I was lacking a lot of structure and knowledge to get better at my job. Then I found Le Wagon and I attended a lot of their free workshops and events, just to see if they were what I was looking for, and I immediately loved the content and energy they all had. This was one of the best experiences of my life: I had the opportunity to meet great people, got to learn a lot from the TAs and other students, and I really felt that the effort and time I put on this was absolutely rewarding. I also had a great time working on our final project and felt super proud of creating a full and functional app from scratch. Thanks to Le Wagon's bootcamp I finally feel confident to work with my peers and do tasks that I never thought I would. As a side note, you don't need to have any previous experience! A lot of my classmates were working in completely different areas and we all managed pretty well. I took the part-time bootcamp since I have a full-time job, and I feel that it was perfect for me because I had the time to digest the content and put more work on the final weeks. I have already recommended it to a lot of people and I will definitely keep on doing it.

Matheus Spósito: Best bootcamp in the world!

Ricky Tran: After graduating university, I needed to learn something new and I stumbled upon Le Wagon. I was very surprised by how much we learned in the 24-week part-time program. It's definitely a commitment but the whole team and class has a great vibe and energy to support you and help you thrive.

Suraj Gopal: I have many fond and important memories from Le Wagon’s full-stack web development bootcamp: substantive lectures every morning, banter and bonding with classmates, the thrill of serving my first application on the web, and the dizzying whirlwind of project week, as my team and I pushed through an avalanche of obstacles to make our idea come to life. But, the standout memory is of 1-on-1 huddles with TAs and Stephane. All the teachers had great insight into all aspects of debugging; they helped me write comments in my code, reflect on my goal, recall syntax, read documentation, and reformat my work for maximum transparency. As I’ve continued developing on my own, these are the routines I continually return to that always help me improve my work and see myself as a professional developer. This is why anyone who wants to break into software development should attend LeWagon: you build lasting friendships and encounter real challenges, and come out of the experience with everything you need to continue growing as an engineer.

Jessica Iacovozzi: Before starting Le Wagon’s Web Development bootcamp, all I had was a high school diploma and experience in customer service. I decided it was time for a change and made the best decision in my life. The teaching style concentrates on practical exercises and the support from teachers is incredible. No need to spend 3 to 5 years in college/university. This 10-week bootcamp will prepare you with everything you need to start a career in tech.

Estuardo Joël Higueros Reyes: of fellow students made it manageable. It was a great experience to be able to learn from and work with people from different backgrounds and with different experiences. Overall, I highly recommend Le Wagon coding bootcamp.

Arstan Zholochu: After I decided to shift my career into the tech industry, I needed someplace to start where I could learn tech skills. After extensive research of university and bootcamp programs, I decided to go with Le Wagon Montreal Coding Bootcamp. What was attractive to me is that the bootcamp was planned to be on-site, face-to-face with teachers. Since I did not have any coding background, being physically present inside the classroom and having everyday interactions with teachers, and classmates were very important to me. Even though everyday coding challenges were tough, and reading and lectures were hard to grasp, I was able to learn the fundamentals of computer programming. Moreover, by the end of the bootcamp I started feeling comfortable in addressing coding challenges, finding answers to technical questions, and thinking like a programmer. There are still lots of things to learn, but thanks to Le Wagon I now have all the basic knowledge to continue my journey in the tech industry.

Winnie Zhao: and came out of it feeling as though I had the tools and knowledge to get a junior developer role. The curriculum was fast-paced but there was always support available with the TAs and teachers. The most valuable thing that I learned was how to learn

hugo mariou: has passed since the end of my training at the Le Wagon, and what can I say ... I miss it! I spent two great months in a welcoming and human environment, with people who brought me a lot. The teachers were there to give us all the necessary material to understand the web development field. The work methodology in pair programming or team project mode allowed us to develop our understanding at another level. We were helping each other, learning together. Don't get me wrong, it's a hard adventure: two months of hard work are waiting for you but for me, learning to code at Le Wagon bootcamp is the best decision I ever made in my life.I met great people, learned with good vibes, experienced the stress of turning in a group project with a deadline, felt the satisfaction of creating something with my hands.Thank you Le Wagon."

Jonathan Jenin: Le Wagon Web Development course was an awesome experience, both from a technical and interpersonal standpoint.I came from a management background, including product development and operations leadership.Following the bootcamp, I am finally able to quickly connect my past experience with my new technical capabilities, prototyping by myself and greatly increasing the impact I can have on a team. The buddy system and learning platforms are huge facilitators and motivation boosters. It is 100% a career booster, whether someone is looking for a new field to explore, or a stepping-stone in their current area, and the network you will make along the way is life-changing!

raphael cohen: 'Montreal’s Le Wagon bootcamp is an amazing experience. Everyone is welcoming, it feels like we're one big family. The team is amazing, teachers and ta’s are helpful and patient in explaining programming concepts. Seeing yourself progress throughout the bootcamp is rewarding, and the final project weeks are intense but I learned so much. At the end you have a final web application to share with the world or add to your portfolio that you built with your team. These concrete skills are essential to finding a job in the tech industry. Thank you Le Wagon.'

Benoit Leboucher: As soon as I decided to make the change, I looked for a way to make it a reality. After some research, I chose to join a bootcamp instead of doing a traditional degree. Le wagon had very good reviews and a friend of friend of mine hired someone who graduated from le wagon and was very happy with his work.I decided to join and it was an amazing experience. It was very challenging, both personally and technically but also very rewarding. I learned a lot of technical skills and programming languages, and I am still doing challenges almost 9 month after I did the bootcamp with the resources Le Wagon gave me. Finally, I learnt how to work in a team and to be efficient together.During the last 2 weeks, the “projects weeks”, we were ready to start working like real devs, from an original idea, to develop it, code it and present it. I presented it to the community and learned how to speak in public, which was not my strong suit. I’ve learnt so much from my experience at Le Wagon and am happy to continue giving back to the community.

Thomas Gellier: !

Nicholas Szczerbickyj: I joined the Data Science bootcamp to improve my knowledge in Python and learn about Machine Learning for the first time. The practical approach to learning helped me understand complex topics quickly and also apply those in the real world. Whether it was natural language processing or creating an algorithm to categorize values, after each topic, I had a firm grasp of the concepts and was able to use them with confidence. This has helped me significantly in my role as a product manager since I can both design and build data science solutions for different challenges. I would 100% recommend this bootcamp to others!

Mark: Before Le Wagon, during my time as a business student, I was curious to learn how businesses use technology to their advantage. It soon grew on me that the use of technology is a vital part of a successful business. I had decided to learn to code on my own but I soon realized I needed something more structured. That’s when I found Le Wagon, a place to learn all of the coding basics, how to solve challenges alongside others and more importantly how to think like a developer. At Le Wagon, the program is extremely well-structured to maximize learning. This is done by watching lectures before class and doing challenges which reinforce what was taught in those lectures during class. If ever we got stuck trying to solve a problem there was always a teacher to help.My primary goal at Le Wagon was to learn the fundamentals of coding as a web developer. In the end I’m glad to say my goal was achieved and furthermore I have met new friends who motivate me to excel in this career path. Ultimately, I recommend Le Wagon for anyone looking to get familiar with coding.

Kim Coquilla: I was a Shipping Coordinator for a big toy company for almost 12 years until they moved their manufacturing to Mexico. Because of this, I realized I had to change my career and saw the opportunity to start with Le Wagon Coding Bootcamp. At first, I was really nervous about if I could really do it, but after a couple of days it becomes exciting and challenging. You just have to really trust the process of their program. Teachers and staff are really nice, friendly and approachable. They also have a very well organized strategy for your learning, precise schedule, very useful resources that you will have access to even after you graduate. They also organize some educational events & bonding time like Happy Hour every Friday :beers:. To sum it up, I had a great experience with Le Wagon that I will treasure forever.

Denzel Braithwaite: I'm Denzel Braithwaite and I was part of the Montreal part time batch #790. When I graduated high school, I spent 6 years as a janitor. I started to wonder if this is what I'd be doing for the rest of my life. I decided to take a computing support course which helped me land a job in I.T. but I felt as if it was only a nudge in the right direction, but I could still go even further. I knew I still wanted to work with computers, this is my passion, but I wanted a career that was in demand, flexible and rewarding with the possibility of working remotely. I had already heard about Le Wagon from a few friends and decided to take a chance. As an alumni, I can definitely say that this course was worth every minute and every penny. It's about so much more than simply learning how to code, it's about learning how to change your life and adapt to a constantly evolving industry. It's about collaborating on meaningful and impactful projects and building lifelong connections in a very active community. I learnt how to learn and how to ask for help when I needed it. Le Wagon teaches the skills and discipline required for success, while keeping an important focus on relaxing and getting to know your fellow colleagues. I can try to describe it in many different ways, but the best way is to experience it yourself. Dive in and trust the process, know that you're in good hands from the moment you start until long after you've graduated. Le Wagon is a family, and we're all eager to meet you.

Paresh Mistry: My daughter was there for 1.5 year. I like this daycare. Teachers are very friendly and kind

Daniela Di Filippo: I loved this place. We arrived in Montréal from Italy in May 2023. As every international move, it was difficult to get used to the new life and I wanted to choose the best daycare for my three years old daughter. This daycare accompanied me and my daughter to transition in this new life in the best way possible. Miss Balwinder was very supportive, I thank her and all the wonderful teachers and staff very much!

Noora Sajwani: This place has been nothing short of amazing and supportive. They took my son who came from another country, new place, new people, and they surrounded him with so much love and support. He is thriving so well, genuinely happy and is becoming more confident in his skills. The team are so supportive. Always ready to answer questions. Sending extra pics and videos to give you that peace of mind you need. And the app hi mama is great because you get to see what your kids are up to. They love the kids with all their hearts. The facility is clean, safe and full of activities for the kids.Highly highly recommended!

Shaikha Al Suwaidi: I work in a hospital and found the daycare to be very flexible and attentive to our needs. My child had so much fun making new friends.

Elsa Patricia Montalvo: This was my kids home away from home since they were 6 months old. Our journey with this daycare has been nothing short of magical. From tiny giggles to confident strides, the teachers and owners have woven love into every moment. Grateful for the warmth, guidance, and countless memories that will forever hold a special place in our hearts.❤️❤️❤️

Christiane Keita: . The supervisors are attentive and extremely gentle. She was able to start learning French in her last year, and I can see the results when she starts kindergarten. I would recommend this daycare center for the professionalism of its educators, who watch over our little ones like moms and, above all, have effective learning techniques.

Doriane Smail: , Ms Alyssa and Ms Baldwinder and Ms Carrie who did everything to make this year great. Thanks again ❤️

Gautam Dogra: at Maison Kinder. The staff is very professional and always available for any specific discussions/requests. We always felt as part of the day care family. Our son definitely benefitted from the creative activities and events planned at the daycare over the years. We would specially thank Ms Balwinder and Ms Lubna

Melanie Gordon: I recently had the pleasure of entrusting my child to the care of Maison Kinder and I can't express enough how impressed and grateful I am for the exceptional experience they provided. They are an amazing team of dedicated professionals who genuinely care about the well-being and development of each child. They are warm and welcoming and it is clear that they have a true passion for working with children. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary safety measures. The classrooms are filled with age-appropriate toys, books, and learning materials that foster creativity and learning. The outdoor play area is private and well-maintained.They offer a well-rounded program from play-based learning to structured activities, yoga, music class and much more, ensuring that your child is having fun and also developing important skills, which are tracked and then given to you via a report card.Communication is another aspect I truly loved about Maison Kinder. Through the Hi Mama app the staff sends you pictures and keeps you informed about your child's daily activities, meals, and milestones.I wholeheartedly recommend Maison Kinder to any parent seeking a nurturing, educational, and safe daycare experience for their child. The dedication of the staff, the enriching curriculum, and the welcoming atmosphere make it an outstanding choice for families.

Liz Yuan: It was my pleasure sending my kid to Maison Kinder. We are very appreciated with our daughter 's improvements.Big thanks to Maison Kinder.

Emin M: Carrie and Sherryl are doing an exceptional job in running the daycare . I could see a remarkable change in my daughter’s character and personality after she started going to their day care . We are very happy with day care . Unlike other daycares that is just to make money , this day care stands out and takes good care of the children. Carrie and Sherryl are truly professional and know their job very well

Zamica T: Is this a subsidized daycare ?

Sahar Amooee nia: Thanks to the management and ownership of the Maison kinder Montreal .During all the time that our child was there, we experienced only professional methods ,kindness and compassion. Special thanks to all the educators, and very professional manager “Priya “.Hygiene, be reliable, kindness, professionalism, beautiful environment, the presence of professional educators, are just a small part of the capabilities of this center. Our family will not forget you and we will recommend you to all our friends.Good luck and Appreciate you 🌹🙏

Rose Derma Medical Aesthetic Clinic &Spa: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,Value

Mohamadou Abdoulaye NDIAYE: ! Relationship of trust and good proximity between children, educators and parents. When a child finishes the last session he or she is ready for kindergarten. They teach children to express themselves in French and English, but above all they instill in them friendship and fraternity.

Ali Hayas: I have very minimal experience with day cares, but this one is a very solid place. I dropped my kid when she was a year and a half and she started learning things in there. The staff are very friendly and they pay attention to her course for the day. You have the awesome app that they keep updating giving you almost live feeds. It's one of the things I miss the most in Montreal.

mike zolner: Expensive but very nice

Queren Manyayi: . The employee was very professional, welcoming and attentive. In addition, he advised me on my choices. It is with pleasure that I plan to return to make my purchases.Customer service 100000%% I highly recommend.

Georgette Atalla: I have been a Canadian tire Place Vertu customer for35 years. I am still a customer. I would like to bring to your attention to a cashier called Rita who is working for you at Place Vertu and is most of the time at the cash at the centers entrance facing Adonis. Her Name is Rita she is one of the best workers I have ever seen or had the pleasure of being served by her. She has a constant smile on her face , she helps people all the time even when people do not ask for help. Last week I was trying to activate my new card from Canadian tire. I was on the phone for 3 days waiting for more than 30 mints every time and I could not. When I went shopping on Thursday and told Rita this she quickly got on the phone to customers service and within minuets I was able to activate my card and paid for my shopping with it. Rita is always ready to help. she knows where to find things and if she can not give you an answer she will call the department and find out anything you want or need. She is efficient quick, helpful, always ready to help, has a great personality and is the only one that does her job as a profetional ,aware of everyone who goes in and out of the store. She is excellent at her work and should be promoted as a manager or her wages should be increased. The owner of Canadian tire should be proud to have such a person working for them. Please take care of her. Thank you.G. Atalla

Jean-francois Ruel (Jeepeu): Not bad everything that should have in a Canadian tire... 😝I don't like self-service checkouts though

saker saker: Hello.. I studied at Carré Saint Laurent. It was the most beautiful days in which we learned the French language. The staff were the most wonderful that can be described. They were very kind and cooperative, and thanks to them we learned the French language. We have a proverb that says, “Whoever teaches me a letter will make me a slave,” and when you hear the teacher’s name, you must stand in reverence and respect for him. Thank you to all the staff. And on top of the manager, Madam Laila, who is a kind and wonderful person

Johanna Ubilla: A big store with many items, the price is not so affordable

Miguel Valiante: 👍

Denis chénier: Well I liked paying my credit card payment by the robotic cash register helped by the cashier well done

Lolo Mopolo: Super

McGill University: what do users think?

S.E. McKenzie: Beautiful campus. Great dentistry school. The atmosphere at the moment is not great due to protest and muddy field.

Paul Miiller: Great spectacle! They had two massive teams on either side of the gates waving flags and cheering, never saw anything like it before. Not sure what sport it was for but really gives the impression of a very active school community. A lot to see and I even got a hot dog!
