catherine deschamps montpetit: Attended the "Ring in a Day" workshop given by Cynthia Hawkes and it was amazing! Cynthia and her assistant were very attentive and patient teachers. I went in without any knowledge about jewellery design and came out with two silver rings that look like they were made by a pro!The Visual Arts Centre has also put in place many COVID safety procedures such as plexi glass between stations, PPE and cleaning. I felt very safe during my time in the studio. Will be back for more courses very soon.

The teachers are exceptional: passionate artists, they are also excellent communicators who know how to guide the student and help them to surpass themselves.The Center also presents lectures at its McClure Gallery as well as the opportunity for students to be part of an annual exhibition. Their works are grouped together and demonstrate the diversity of media explored: oil painting, acrylic, drawing, charcoal, red chalk, watercolor, ceramics, jewelry creation, etc...The Center also operates very stimulating day camps for children during the summer season.Management and staff are on site. They know how to advise and give you impeccable service.A fantastic school that makes your aspirations come true.
Claude Bouchard: I had painted in oil on my own for years, learning by trial and error, but when I decided to try my hand at watercolour, I felt some direction would be beneficial and I signed up for my first class at the Visual Art Centre. Was I pleased with my decision? So much so that I ended up taking additional classes for a half dozen years and was never disappointed. Not only were my teachers talented artists themselves, they also had the ability of transferring their knowledge and techniques to their students. A wonderful atmosphere to develop creatively with other talented peers while having fun. Highly recommended.

Theresa Passarello: Taking courses at the VAC gave me the confidence to move on to the Studio Arts Program at Concordia to receive my BFA. The teachers and staff are always helpful and supportive and the exhibitions and artist talks at the McClure Gallery are an added bonus to an already exceptional community art school. I volunteer as a board member at the VAC because it is a jewel of an art school!

Kassandra Élisabeth: I went to Fondation PHI once for a special limited art event and it was really cool. The staff knows there stuff well and they are really professional. I went with a bunch of friends and the experience was amazing. The tour was maybe 2h and we learned a lot about the history of the artist, her personal life and challenges so it was very inspiring.

Jessica Nicole: We really enjoyed this museum! There were many nice paintings, antique furniture, historical displays and artifacts. The formal rooms and kitchen downstairs were very interesting. The staff were friendly and helpful. The museum is located in Old Montreal near some lovely streets to take a stroll afterwards. I recommend visiting Chateau Ramezay! We had a great time

We went with another family so had 2 x 8 year olds and a 5 year old and we spent lots of time here. They had a special exhibit going on as well which made it even more fun. Personally the crystal collection blew me away. Wow. Worth it!!

ً: Amazing acoustics that can easily make a painfully piercing, loud piccolo actually sound good for once!
Winfield Chen: Went here for a friend's concert and it was a good experience. Watch out for the step at the front door though it is easy to miss and I tripped and almost fell. Especially if you have a non-Quebec health card could be a pricey hospital visit.
