Joanna knows so much, and it never ceases to amaze us how much time she has for us. She talks to us and answers all her questions. She recommends things and she does so much for us. The staff is incredible. Each one and treats us like family. We’re so happy to have found this Clinic and the people who are there to help us.Just picked up the new hearing aids and we have been launched into the future. Lise Pattin: I lost my hearing because of my work in noise, I have a fairly significant hearing loss since 1981. I have seen several hearing aid clinics over the years. It was at the Polyclinic in the city center where I had the best service. The hearing care professionals Frédéric and Alexandre are so kind and they take the time to listen to us with patience, and what can we say about their secretary who is attentive too. If you have difficulty hearing, do not hesitate to take tests which can help you. Yes, you may have to have prostheses like me but this will prevent you from other more serious health problems such as dementia. Go see them, I highly recommend them, you will be treated like nowhere else and will be the most important person from the moment you set foot in the clinic.

From 2015 I took tests and I understood that my hearing had slowly declined. I have been wearing hearing aids for 4-5 years now and it wasn't easy at first, but now it's getting better.

You will not wear a prosthesis without being informed of the consequences. So, along the way, you will be constantly accompanied to help you wear the prosthesis, because no one enjoys wearing a prosthesis and it is good to have constant and professional support.

Guy Nantel: . I decided to try prostheses for free for a month, and immediately I started hearing better, even if some sounds were much more offensive. Initially the high frequency volume was only 60% of my normal level, but after three weeks I had gotten used to the prostheses quite well. The challenge of the first three weeks had been getting used to high-pitched sounds; these are the most unpleasant noises. It’s true that it was aggressive at first, but not disastrous, and I got used to it quite well. After three weeks, Mr. Gougeon increased the volume of the prostheses to 80%, telling me that the harsh noises would increase again, and that this time I could spend 6 additional months of adaptation before the next stage. I was still pleasantly surprised by this increase in volume when leaving the Clinic: the aggressive sounds were louder but, curiously, they were less disturbing than during the first three-week period. And I also had an unexpected gain, because the quality of the sound I heard was better, a “rounder”, more balanced sound. Maybe it's my particularity here, I don't know, but I'm very happy about it. So I continue my adventure, my sound environment really seems to improve significantly.
