Laura Gonzalez Zuluaga: I'm a graphic designer who decided to become a developer a while ago. I already had experience in the field and I knew a bit of coding thanks to some online courses, but I felt that I was lacking a lot of structure and knowledge to get better at my job. Then I found Le Wagon and I attended a lot of their free workshops and events, just to see if they were what I was looking for, and I immediately loved the content and energy they all had. This was one of the best experiences of my life: I had the opportunity to meet great people, got to learn a lot from the TAs and other students, and I really felt that the effort and time I put on this was absolutely rewarding. I also had a great time working on our final project and felt super proud of creating a full and functional app from scratch. Thanks to Le Wagon's bootcamp I finally feel confident to work with my peers and do tasks that I never thought I would.As a side note, you don't need to have any previous experience! A lot of my classmates were working in completely different areas and we all managed pretty well. Arstan Zholochu: After I decided to shift my career into the tech industry, I needed someplace to start where I could learn tech skills. After extensive research of university and bootcamp programs, I decided to go with Le Wagon Montreal Coding Bootcamp. What was attractive to me is that the bootcamp was planned to be on-site, face-to-face with teachers. Since I did not have any coding background, being physically present inside the classroom and having everyday interactions with teachers, and classmates were very important to me. Even though everyday coding challenges were tough, and reading and lectures were hard to grasp, I was able to learn the fundamentals of computer programming. Moreover, by the end of the bootcamp I started feeling comfortable in addressing coding challenges, finding answers to technical questions, and thinking like a programmer. Benoit Leboucher: As soon as I decided to make the change, I looked for a way to make it a reality. After some research, I chose to join a bootcamp instead of doing a traditional degree. Le wagon had very good reviews and a friend of friend of mine hired someone who graduated from le wagon and was very happy with his work.I decided to join and it was an amazing experience. It was very challenging, both personally and technically but also very rewarding. I learned a lot of technical skills and programming languages, and I am still doing challenges almost 9 month after I did the bootcamp with the resources Le Wagon gave me. Finally, I learnt how to work in a team and to be efficient together.During the last 2 weeks, the “projects weeks”, we were ready to start working like real devs, from an original idea, to develop it, code it and present it. Nicholas Szczerbickyj: I joined the Data Science bootcamp to improve my knowledge in Python and learn about Machine Learning for the first time. The practical approach to learning helped me understand complex topics quickly and also apply those in the real world. Whether it was natural language processing or creating an algorithm to categorize values, after each topic, I had a firm grasp of the concepts and was able to use them with confidence. Mark: Before Le Wagon, during my time as a business student, I was curious to learn how businesses use technology to their advantage. It soon grew on me that the use of technology is a vital part of a successful business. I had decided to learn to code on my own but I soon realized I needed something more structured. That’s when I found Le Wagon, a place to learn all of the coding basics, how to solve challenges alongside others and more importantly how to think like a developer.At Le Wagon, the program is extremely well-structured to maximize learning. This is done by watching lectures before class and doing challenges which reinforce what was taught in those lectures during class. If ever we got stuck trying to solve a problem there was always a teacher to help.My primary goal at Le Wagon was to learn the fundamentals of coding as a web developer. In the end I’m glad to say my goal was achieved and furthermore I have met new friends who motivate me to excel in this career path. Kim Coquilla: I was a Shipping Coordinator for a big toy company for almost 12 years until they moved their manufacturing to Mexico. Because of this, I realized I had to change my career and saw the opportunity to start with Le Wagon Coding Bootcamp. At first, I was really nervous about if I could really do it, but after a couple of days it becomes exciting and challenging. You just have to really trust the process of their program. Teachers and staff are really nice, friendly and approachable. Denzel Braithwaite: I'm Denzel Braithwaite and I was part of the Montreal part time batch #790. When I graduated high school, I spent 6 years as a janitor. I started to wonder if this is what I'd be doing for the rest of my life. I decided to take a computing support course which helped me land a job in I.T. but I felt as if it was only a nudge in the right direction, but I could still go even further. I knew I still wanted to work with computers, this is my passion, but I wanted a career that was in demand, flexible and rewarding with the possibility of working remotely. I had already heard about Le Wagon from a few friends and decided to take a chance. As an alumni, I can definitely say that this course was worth every minute and every penny. It's about so much more than simply learning how to code, it's about learning how to change your life and adapt to a constantly evolving industry. Amir SV: The Concordia Bootcamp for Data Science exceeded my expectations. The curriculum, hands-on projects, and knowledgeable instructors created an immersive learning experience, equipping me with the practical skills and knowledge essentials for success in the field.
Jeremie Legault: Before enrolling in the Concordia Web Development Bootcamp, I had very little experience coding. I had only done about 30 hours of HTML, CSS and JavaScript combined. Starting this Bootcamp was definitely a leap of faith, but I am so glad I did it!Throughout the course, instructors were so helpful. I also learned to leverage my cohort, all of whom taught me so much. Bootcamp was REALLY hard work, but I made it through. Three months after graduating I am starting a really good job at an exciting company.One of the best parts of Concordia Bootcamp is Career Services. First I was paired with an excellent career coach and technical coach. They helped me polish up my CV, LinkedIn and technical knowledge and had encouraging words along the way. The program structure, teacher, TAs and support staff can not be match in their abilities, passion and helpfulness.The structure is designed in a way that will challenge you through the entire program, while keeping its objectives within reach. As long as you push yourself and work hard you will succeed.Ziad is one of the best teachers I have had, he has the rare ability to make dry and complex material seem interesting and simple. You want to go to DecodeMTL because you want to learn from Ziad.The TAs are all very experience programers with a wealth of knowledge who are there to assit and work through problems with you, they are dedicated to helping you understand every detail of the course.Kevin is what ties the whole process together and what really makes this program complete. He will do everything he can to make sure you are prepared for the program before it begins, he will follow you throughout making sure you are comfortable in the course. But most importantly he will help you upon completion, following up with you and making sure you are doing everything you can to find a job.In 8 very short weeks I went from basic understand of programming to working as a web developer. This is an all star team, if you are serious about your goal go to Decode.But dont take my word for it, call Kevin.
Victor Wong: For any interested in making the jump to web development, DecodeMTL is the way to go. Ziad is a fantastic developer and instructor, he's very enthusiastic in his lectures. Ziad and his teaching staff make it all possible so long as you put in the time and effort!
Coco Brecht: What a great and challenging program! I would recommend it to anyone who's looking to learn a practical approach to web development and who doesn't want to spend years doing a degree in University. I was hesitant to join at first because I've never been good at math or science, but the instructors make it so easy to learn, and now I love to code!
Randy Klose: is. He is not only an amazing developer but a great instructor. He cares a lot about every student and get great satisfaction when you finally understand the material. Secondly, you will have to show your dedication in this program. Don't expect too many lecture but hands-on non-stop workshops and cool projects. We learned a lot about thinking programmatically about a problem and the multiple steps that we might take to solve this problems. And if you cant , then you can ask the also very savvy TA's that will be in the classroom to assist you and help you understand the material. The last thing that i would like to say is that they do provide you with a very complete package in which you will learn not just the latest technologies but also the significance of how this technologies came into place in the industry. In the end, what truly matter is how much effort you decide to give for obtaining these new skills.

Maxime Martin: . The final project, structured like a mini start-up project, is very educative and provides the experience of presenting in front of a crowd of recruiters and people from the industry. The program is preparing its student for the job market, where you can expect to be hired for a web developer job just 3-6 weeks after the bootcamp. Definitely a fun and educative experience, worth the investment.
Myriam Gariépy: I loooved so much the part-time course. Our teacher Lucas was so patient and available for us. We got help from other professionals too and actually, from everyone at Decode! They were always ready to answer our questions. Most importantly, we stay in contact online with our crew and teachers using Slack, even after our 10 weeks are over. I feel I am still supported by the school while I continue to evolve through the geeky universe. 10 weeks ago, I didn't even know how to open a zip file! Now, I can make a multiple pages, responsive website with forms, links, videos, nice design, etc! The course is at high-speed though so be prepared to do your homeworks between classes! But as I said, everyone helps each others so, no worries if you get lost at some point. What can I say more? I knew nothing and I never ever felt stupid because of it. Even if you are a beginner, don't be scared and go to DecodeMtl!Oh, et les cours sont en anglais mais les profs parlent français aussi et sont toujours prêts à répéter en français si c'est pas trop clair! :D

ENVIRONMENT FOR ENTREPRENEURI am a student in Concordia and my major is more related to business. I find DecodeMTL can give me an awesome opportunity to meet different people. Many of my classmates already worked in the IT industry, having work experience in coding. It is a very impressive experience to talk and learn from them too.

Aliyah Jessa: I completed this course over a month ago and am very happy with the results. I began the class with very little knowledge and after two months was able, with assistance and a team, build a web-based mobile app. The support shown through the course and after the course has been incredible. Both instructor and director and keen on us continuing our learning and achieving our post-course goals, whether that's finding work or expanding on a project, and they do what they can to facilitate that. The course is still fairly new, but kinks are being worked out and feedback is always welcomed.
Hanna Nicol: course but the instructor was great and really spends the time with individuals to make sure they're getting it.The course covers very relevant materials and prepares you to carry-on learning the necessary stuff to get job pretty quickly afterwards.If you're doing the work, you'll go far in a short time - and use your classmates too, great resources!
