jean ioannidis: Tested and approved by a baker who came from Belgium for vacation - baguette not bad, chocolatines and croissants very good - butt with potatoes and cheddar meh meh meh you have to like it but in my opinion hot is better - on the other hand big negative point is the indication of the bakery - we passed in front of the workshop which is well indicated however the bakery was not seen!! The front looks like anything but a bakery... the prices are not cheap compared to back home...
Jeremiah Hayes: Best chocolate brownies in Montreal! These brownies are amazing, super moist and chocolatey, with the perfect amount of salt. Boulangerie Guillaume is also a magnificent place for bread and the like. Unfortunately the service can be hit or miss, where sometimes you get greeted by a trendy stuck-up kid who has a hard time smiling, but that comes with the territory on the Plateau.

Love how it incorporates French, Japanese favors in some pastries. Service is okay, but with food this good, it tends to be overlooked. No real location to sit, so it's takeout only.

Nana Khadijah: I loved the cozy vibe of this space. It was a pretty small cafe, two tables but I was able to get seating as most people came for take outs. The Koiugn Amann was so yummy!I really appreciated that the staff were so nice and patient to speak French slowly to me as they could tell I was trying to practice 😅
Carson Wong: It would've been a shame if they didn't do their namesake justice...but they absolutely knocked it out of the park! Excellent Kouign Amann with a crispy sweet exterior and flaky buttery interior. Would've loved to also try their croissants but they sell out quick!

Arthur Zak: 8 years ago I stumbled into this Cafe accidentally and had one of the best desserts I had ever eaten. Now 8 years later I had the pleasure of eating it again. Nowhere else I have tried kouign amann comes close to the pastry here. Crackling, chewy crust, and an almost custardy soft inside. 10/10 would eat again. A must eat for any Montreal trip.

We had the lemon blueberry cake with vanilla buttercream - a cake that had sentimental value to us - and it was just as we had originally remembered it. The cake was moist, fresh, and not too sweet. We received many compliments from our guests. Our venue was equally as impressed and asked where the cake was from, as it was one of the best they had tasted. The presentation was also beautifully done.Communication with the patisserie was challenging at times as we encountered slow response times leading up to the event, including confirming final details and payment. This added some stress to the wedding planning process, but ultimately the communication issue was resolved amicably.

Vanessa G: We got our wedding cake here and it was honestly one of the highlights of our wedding. Everyone we spoke to after told us how great the cake was and asked where we got it from. We chose the raspberry lemon poppy flavour. It was perfect for spring/summer. It's delicious, light and not too sweet. Lawrence was easy to work with and brought our vision to life. He guides you in the look and taste without imposing. All of this at a reasonable price. Thanks again Lawrence!

Robin Wilson: So I had previously had such amazing service and had religiously gone here to buy all of my cakes and desserts. But I bought a cake on Saturday September 4th, half vanilla and have chocolate cake, it looked good but it tasted really funky. It was at least 2 - 3 days old and tasted like the fridge. The frosting had a spicy almost peppery taste that wasn't good. None of my guests enjoyed it and we ended up throwing it out bearly touched. Such a waste. Sorry guys I think you've lost a client. Ok I'm updating my prior bad experience, I gave them another try and was blown way. Quality is back up and the service was extraordinary!

LawrenceV is a place where the art of being a pastry chef is fully expressed.I have tried several cakes and pastries, they are all really excellent! And what work in the presentations, it's beautiful and good.... Plus the team is super professional in the service, for me it's my adopted pastries forever!

Everyone is so friendly and there is a family feel to the place so you will always feel welcome. I have ordered multiple items from them including beautifully designed custom cakes, cupcakes as well as delicious 'cake in a jar' items and most recently yummy sugar cookies! Midnight Tragedy: You have to search a little to find the counter of this intriguing Polish pastry shop. The welcome was cordial and the answers to my questions were quickly answered.I opted for the essential donuts with unique flavors. One of each: Apricots, custard and plums. As soon as the order is placed, as soon as it is done. They couldn't be cooler! The crumb was airy and the authentic flavors were a pleasure for the taste buds!Don't expect commercial donuts that are too sweet. Here the homemade flavors are a pleasure and the flavors are different and frankly delicious! The pastry cream is well balanced, creamy and soft. The apricot is more tangy, almost juicy. Yum! The plum fritter is rich, delicately sweet and my big favorite!They are a little more expensive than the donuts from the big restaurant/cafe chains, but here we are elsewhere. Buy less, but buy quality is a vision that applies perfectly here! Get out of the routine and dare these unique donuts. It’s a detour to make during your visit to the Jean-Talon market! In any case, this will be the case for me!
Generic Stuff: First time trying this place and only purchased one item so this review isn't the most accurate as it is solely based on customer service and one item.The lady who served us wasn't very friendly or rude. She was quite neutral. Not a very warm feeling but we still ordered the peach cheesecake.I have to say this isn't like your traditional cheesecake, but there was something so unique about the base and the flavour that we actually really enjoyed it and would probably go back just to get it again.
