No, but I, GEN X, wondered when the apocalyptic atmosphere of globalization would calm down and return to customer service as before. I am moved by it. Mehran Islam: I love this place and it's one of the coolest dance studios I've ever been to and known!! So for anybody who wants to try out some of their dance classes based on different styles, you should give it a shot. Oh and let's not forget about the great dance teachers that have and they are pretty friendly too! I can't wait to come back soon 🙏

Shannon Cui: I’ve taken 3 classes here now with Rani who teaches heels and jazz funk. She is an amazing instructor, always lively, engaging and fun. Class feels very inclusive with people of all levels. And there are different levels too which helped since I took beginner heels classes and I never did heels before.

Hannah Fournier: We had a fantastic time at Studio 409! We came as a group for a bachelorette weekend. Valerie was fantastic, warm, welcoming, and made us feel comfortable and confident straight away. She encouraged us to toast our friend and we had an hour full of laughs, dancing, and fun! Would highly recommend.
Daniela Garcia: I absolutely love this place. Valérie is an amazing teacher with so much talent and willingness to teach, Amelie her assistant teacher is also amazing. I started with the test class and got hooked! It’s very challenging but so much fun and the vibe is amazing. I love the body positivity, the encouragement and on top of that it has contributed positively to my mental health. With that being said I strongly recommend this place!

Marine Fraysse: Amazing Studio! The risk of trying a class is being stung forever. Valérie has a lot to do with it: she teaches with humor, kindness and friendliness. Each movement is dissected. We feel encouraged. She takes care to systematically take photos of us, so we can observe our progress. In addition, the studio is very beautiful with wooden floors and high ceilings. Going to the studio is one of my little moments of happiness to the point that I forget that it's sport!

Erika Bernier: A caring, warm and relaxed space where we really care about the students.The teaching is excellent, the movements are well dissected and explained, and there is a second instructor who ensures the correct execution of the figures. The teacher:student ratio is therefore excellent. I'm not naturally good at sports, but I've never felt bad asking for explanations or extra support here!Also, we work on a static bar and we do the inversions from the first class, which is really motivating. After each session we also receive our photos and it is very pleasant to see our progress.Thanks to Valérie and the studio 409 team!

Yiyuan Zhang: Formal school, teachers are very nice. Waiting room for parents is big and comfortable.
Laurence Potvin: Ballet Montreal is a great ballet school but also a great dance school. The teachers are very qualified and passionate. The artistic director of that school is probably the best teacher I’ve ever met in all my years of dancing. She cares like nobody would. She will make sure that everybody have the same opportunities and get to dance to the best of their habilities. If you tell her that you have a dream, she will make sure to honour it. She will never hold a grudge against her students, even on the harder days. She always shows up her for her students and tries to find ways to make them achieve what they are capable of. She will always tell you the truth so you can improve. At the end of the day, she doesn’t do it for herself but for all her students, to make sure they are proud of themselves. Every year she kills herself putting on a real ballet show from the classical repertoire. Having the chance to be part of those shows is something that I will carry and cherish my entire life because it teaches you so much more than just dance. Nobody trully sees what has to be done behind the scene to put on those kind of shows. Those shows could be compared to profesionnal shows. Every year she does a different one. That means different costumes, different sets, different lighting, different cast, different choreographies… And every year she does it. She does it so her students can be stimulated and experience the stage so they are ready for the professional world. She arrives at the studio early in the morning and will stay late at night to make sure everything that has to be ready is. She doesn’t count her hours and she will make sure every details is covered so it is as perfect as it can be. It is easy to point out what is not working and complain about things. However, with the show coming up, I think it’s very important to appreciate and be grateful for all the work, effort and passion that Paula does for her school and her students.
Devi Raboseta: Great school, love their classes. Teachers are very competent. I tried Ballet Ouest for adults a few times but teachers for adults there are not good.

Anastasia: Exceptional dance school in Montreal! Very high level of technique and the teachers are very qualified. I came back to this school after the very top professional schools in Canada, because I did not feel the same level of passion and care towards ballet from any other place than this school, hence why I believe this school is what is best for me and anyone aspiring to make it far in this wonderful art.
