Crêperie du Marché: what do users think?

peiju chen: 🥨Don't miss this place! You can taste traditional dishes here. I visited on a weekend afternoon. I didn't have to wait long, and the staff even provided special utensils for my child. We had a delightful snack time there.Don't miss this store! You can eat traditional cuisine. The time I went was a holiday afternoon. After waiting for a while, it was my turn, and the service staff specially gave me a cutlery for my child. We had a great time there.Dietary restrictions: gluten freeKid-friendliness: Extra plates and cutlery provided

Laura Matamoros: Dedicated gluten free restaurant. We ate crepes and they were to die for. It it wasn't because they forgot about our order and we had to wait over an hour for our meat the rating would have been much better. The place is located in a small charming market but there is no charm about the place.Dietary restrictions: Dedicated gluten free restaurant

Maxwell Anavian: We came here as a stop for lunch during a trip back from Tremblant as one of the members of our party has a gluten sensitivity. The people running the stand were incredibly accommodating and assuring of our allergies and sensitivities. The buckwheat crepes were fantastic. They are not like normal crepes and have a fantastic crunch and texture on the edges. I personally had the Oessant and it was fantastic. The market here also has a lot to offer to a great place to stop.Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free, they have many vegan options as well

Roch Lavoie: are certainly the best. The dough is actually laminated, the way you’d expect a croissant to be. So many gluten free bakeries have let me down on that front but this is not one of them! You can buy them fresh or frozen. They store well in the freezer for up to a few months and are easy to reheat. Pictures attached are the pain chocolats reheated in the oven with an egg wash.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free. Best spot in Montreal to get gluten free pastries, everything here is gluten free.

Chris: +1 also has vegan options

Koby Diamond: Best Gluten Free Croissant in the CITY.

Andrew Sisk: A fine selection of gluten free breads, pastries and desserts. The quinoa bread we took home is superior to most gluten free breads we’ve tried. The pastries here give gluten free folks the opportunity to have the montreal “Chocolatine” experience.Dietary restrictions: Everything in their large selection meets the needs of the gluten free diet.

Corinne Yes: A dream come true. When I visit Montreal, I come here. Only 2 little stools to sit though.Dietary restrictions: The best gluten free and dairy free croissants in the country, I believe.

Soleien Gomez-Monastesse: Really good bakery and gluten free ✨

Dhifallah Rami: Recommended dishes Des Pâtisseries Sans Gluten

Daniel Halliday: Fantastic brunch good with a bustling atmosphere.I can thoroughly recommend the chicken & waffles in particular!Pricing is not cheap, not expensive, the staff are really friendly and helpfulKid-friendliness: High chair for little ones, kids menu and really accommodating

Alissa Aing: Succulent lunch as well as their fried chicken!Food: 5/5 …

Flora LB: . Both were ok, although the waffles were a bit tough & chewy and there were hardly any bacon inside. The breakfast poutine could've used more sauce, I guess that's why I was offered ketchup, mayo or hot sauce. The potatoes were good though. Our waiter only came back to check on us at the end. It's a busy place, with some unique items on the menu.

Karine Mirambeau: First time there and will definitely go back and try different things on the menu, everything looked so good. Place was packed, it was a sunday brunch so we expected a lineup outside but it wasn’t too long of a wait outside. The servers were attentive, fast and efficient. I would recommend this place to anyone and families.I also loved the decor too, it felt nice and cozy type of ambiance!

Yannick Turenne: Friendly and delicious restaurant!! It will definitely become a must-have!Thanks Sarah!Yannick!

Alaleh - FoodyTO: I have been to this location a few times and they never cease to amaze me, as they update their menu regularly.I love the design of the restaurant, combination of modern and contemporary decorations which makes it suitable for dates, friends and also business gatherings. So far, I have tried their Salmon Tartare, Lasagna, LOV Bagel and burgers and all have been very delicious and perfectly served. The staff are also friendly and helpful which positively contributes to the great atmosphere.

Gena Klaarwater: Had vegan brunch at Lov. The decor is super zen & very welcoming. Had the tofu benny which was delish. Portions were very generous. Service was excellent. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Mostly vegan with a couple of vegetarian options.

Keryne Djiena: Good morningI went to your restaurant to celebrate my birthday on Sunday, I was there with friends. The welcome was correct, the service perfect. We were served all evening by a young ebony man, sorry I didn't remember his name. He was really very friendly. The meal was good I had the duck conflict with a bottle of wine and for dessert I received a crème brûlée, I was expecting a slice of cake but theCrème brûlée was excellent... however the chocolate mousse was too sweet for my friends.THANKS.

Marion Bousquet: It was Claude who served us!As soon as we arrived with our two-year-old daughter, we already had pencils and coloring sheets on the table! The service is very pleasant. And the lunches are perfect! Mention for the baked beans! We have tasted them elsewhere, these are the best!Good coffee and good atmosphere.Thank you for the welcome 👌🏼

Best Quests: Going to the newest, flashiest restaurant in town is always fun, but discovering a long-established place for the first time is just as exciting. This was the case with here for us.Serving authentic, traditional Québécois cuisine since 1938, they have all the classics: poutine, shepherd's pie, pea soup, tourtière, pouding chômeur, and more. But the comfort food items don't stop there; they serve breakfast all day, and all their alcohol is locally made here in Quebec. The menu is just too vast to get a good sense of it in one go. We will have to return for more, but our initial impression was positive.

Laiba Naaz: Very delicious😋 Gluten-free banana bread. So yummy. Good staff. Very clean 👌 In the morning it's not very crowded There are many varieties of Glten free Food and Nut free.

Matteo DG: Love it here! Soup was great and they even had a gluten free menu with many options that are safe for celiac! Staff was very nice too and I'm lucky to now have a gluten free meal option so close to ConcordiaDietary restrictions: Gluten free options, vegan options, kosher options, allergen aware

Kasey: .However, their sandwiches and baked potatoes are pricey and far from being their forte. I would just stick to the salads.

Linda Duchesne: I just tasted their maple brioche. It’s the best gluten-free sugar-time dessert I’ve tasted! The dough is moist and not very sweet, with a decadent topping of maple syrup and caramelized pecans. Thank you Béline and thank you Life!Linda

Vincent bourgoin: Le service, la presentation et le goût sont au rendez-vous. Je ne peux pas plus recommander cette patisserie, elle est excellente.Vegetarian options: All vegan.Dietary restrictions: No gluten

Linds M: The service was wonderful! So welcoming and genuine - have yet to try the desserts but I’m sure I’ll love it and can’t wait to visit again soon! And the pastries were so good! Would highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options

SPANEL CRÊPES ET GOURMETS: what do users think?

Fatima Reg: Excellent buckwheat pancakes. I opted for the salmon one then the butter and sugar one for dessert. They were hearty and digestible. The staff is friendly. Only downside: the noise of the dishes if your table is located near the kitchen.A good address in a quiet area, a little out of the way.

Angelique: Delightful traditional crepes with friendly service, interesting daily specials and buckwheat crepes! Had the duck confit and caramelized onion crepe which was divine, and also the cheesy bacon and tomato rockets crepe, very breakfast-y.Dietary restrictions: So happy to have found naturally gluten free crepes here as the savory crepes are made with buckwheat. I’m sure I could have asked for sweet crepes made with the delicious buckwheat batter too.Parking: Spots are on the street and meter paid. There were a few spots free when we came but a couple the machine marked “invalid”. It was tricky but we finally parked at a legal paid spot.

Irina Cazac: I feel like I’m in Rennes here ☺️Very good creperie. Perfect for coeliacs.Dietary restrictions: Ideal for coeliacs - the pancakes are made with buckwheat

Joe MaveSolutions: A little gem in the southwest quarter!Absolutely delicious crepes; both seeet and salty; great choice of breakfast options along with a curated offering of coffees/lattes!The owner is a renowned restaurateur with over two decades of experience in France and in Canada. Prices are super affordable compared to the market averages; highly recommended; you will not regret your visit!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options available.Dietary restrictions: Can cater to all food allergies.Parking: Over a dozen parking spots across the restaurant.

Le Passé Composé: what do users think?

Andy L: I came to Le Passé Composé for lunch a while ago and tried their 2 Foie Gras Poached Eggs Benedict. The atmosphere was chill and relaxing and the server was quite friendly. The benedict was really good in terms of flavour, texture, overall food ratio/balance, nicely poached eggs, and good turnip/potato. Trying Foie Gras for the first time was interesting as well and the foie gras complimented the food. I would go there again for the food again but it may be better for couples as the dish can feel a bit overwhelming or greasy near the end. Overall, I’d give the experience 8.8/10

Linda: , foie gras sauce, onion jam, prosciutto chips, poppy seeds, arugula sprouts, honey-glazed turnips. It’s so rich, so good. Their panko French toast is also a great dish. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: They offer vegetarian optionsParking: Paid street parkingKid-friendliness: Kid friendly. Their patio in the summer is great for big groups.

Rohin Baiany: I had the opportunity to try this restaurant and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. From the customer service to the quality of the food and meals, all were excellent. The menu is simple, but what is offered is very good. The prices are a little expensive, but justifiable given the quality of what is offered to customers.I highly recommend !

Thomas H.: I went to this restaurant on a Tuesday morning during my vacation in Montreal. I had already spotted their menu which compiled classics with touches of originality. My target: their savory pancakes. The service was very good, fast, the waiters friendly and the restaurant quiet. You can see in the photo there is plenty to eat! And I have a big stomach! All the flavors were present in this dish: the bacon, the pancakes, the egg, the sausages. It was a very good dish! As beautiful as it is good ✨ I recommend! 5/5

Kim Hellman (CPAKim): Whoever graded this place below 5, should have their head examined. Our server was an 10. Our food a 10.My wife had the Eggs Benedict Classic. I has the big breakfast with French Toast made from Brioche bread. If in doubt. Go. You won't be sorry.

Tatevik Baharyan: Excellent service!I was there Tuesday, the 25th of October and the French girl was so fast and professional.Ordered a pizza and it was ready in 5 minutes. She does a fantastic job! This was my first time eating at this restaurant and I will definitely come back.

Sakthivel Chandrasekaran: . Will skip next time for fresh one.

Jon Yip Chuck: Poutine Review Only:Was craving poutine and decided to stop in here and give it a try; WOW what a surprise! You wouldn't expect amazing poutine from a pizza shop but that's exactly what it is! Fries are nicely seasoned and would be delicious on their own. Gravy is thick and rich and the cheese curds while squeaky, melt and become super stretchy.Honestly once of the best poutines I've ever had and a definite must try! Will be back on day to try the pizza.

David M-W: Lovely stuffed poutine. I had a Cowboy Poutine and there is a ton of meat as you can see on my picture, the cheese is amazing and a overall great big poutine. The drink is a bit expensive and the soda machine broke when I went but the poutine is great.

Fondy Tam: . When we arrived in the reception area, everyone that reserved for the seating was waiting to enter. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was good. Tasty, fresh and well prepared. 4* for very good overall experience. There could be more variety. Salad selection was very basic. Nothing special was prepared. Carvery was very good. Generally clean - I had to wipe down some of the cutlery due to water stains/other marks. The server that seated us made a point to wipe down the banquette seating for us as it was overlooked in prep for our seating. To be 5*, more orderly waiting area with someone to direct traffic. All seating and tables, cutlery must all be clean upon arrival. If something is offered, ie salad station, make an effort to offer something special/extraordinary. As a seasoned traveller, this was an average buffet brunch for the price. I do recommend to go because it is a pleasant experience.Parking: street parking is free until 1pm on Sundays

Cathy Loera: Kid-friendliness: Delicious kid options! The serving size is perfect for a young child.Wheelchair accessibility: We did not have a wheelchair, but a stroller. It was easy to go in and out, and they were very accommodating with making space for the stroller.

Psychotic Bunny: But overall very satisfying, but I do wish the had egg Benedicts on the kids menu or some sort of mini menu; like imagine being able to order only half egg Benedicts and then a small order of waffles! I'd be there more often. Oh! And they did have almond milk as an alternative, definitely should be more visible than only when you ask!

Ryan: Servers were incredibly friendly, food prep was clean and fresh, constant refills on water and coffee which was great. And refreshing, lively interior design.

Guillaume Boldock: Impeccable service and food

Carrie Guo: I absolutely adore this diner in Montréal! The spacious layout and ample seating make for a comfortable dining experience. The service is both prompt and welcoming, ensuring a quick turnover of tables. We indulged in the UNIVERSEL BREAKFAST, and the crepes and sausages were definite highlights - bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The generous portions left us thoroughly satisfied, and the option to personalize the crepes with favorite fruits was a delightful touch. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that guarantees my return on my next trip to Montréal.
