I would have liked these characters to be made to understand that respect for others is essential.Good experience overall!

Katie Luxmoore: We just popped in here at the end of a disappointing night at another more expensive place and the vibes were perfect. It was a mostly empty Thursday night and there was a game on so the group that was there mostly hung at the bar and watched that. It seemed to get a little busier the later it got though. We decompressed and had a lovely cheap pint and a good chat. Great dive bar.Side note: the graffiti in the bathroom is top notch.

Richard Martz: and I was blown away. Beautiful, sophisticated design, but still feels intimate and low key. Staff were fun and friendly; drinks were fresh, interesting/unique and stiff.Loved the vibe overall and definitely worth making a detour for - it's a great spot for a date, to hang with friends, or to entertain business colleagues/clients.They've completely upped their game even further and cemented its status as one of the best cocktail bars in the city.
Dominic Ling: Great little bar that recently moved to a larger location. They have an extensive drink menu that will have you trying something new every time. Try the froot loops shots, you will be surprised. I had the Big Fun in Little China, great drink for those who love strong ginger. It even had a fortune cookie! The vibes here are just right on a night out. They even had a DJ when I visited.

Elspeth: I had a wonderful time with my two friends. We went on a Thursday for their jazz night and it was so much fun! There was a $7 add on for the live band which we were told about while being seated. Our server was so friendly and took great care of us. The bar was very reminiscent of a speakeasy, it was very dark and tables were lit by candles. If you have issues seeing in the dark, definitely take that into account. After a little while my eyes adjusted, but when I first walked in it was hard to see. Overall I had a lovely time. The cocktails were delicious, staff were friendly, the band was wonderful and I will definitely be going back!

Stephen Inniss: A tiny bar located right next to The Coldroom & across from Bar Bisou Bisou, El Pequeño bar stands out from its sister bars. Like it's name, its very small, seats less than 10 people and little standing room. But rather than detracting, it adds to the intimacy of the bar and a close knit vibe. The cocktails are all Cuban twists on rum based classics like the daiquiri and Pina Colada. I thoroughly enjoyed the drinks!

Our cocktails were just as good. My favorite was the “40 thieves” made with tahini, simply delicious. The cocktails are all unique and sophisticated, and there are good imported wines.The employees are all attentive. Despite the room full of customers, they are all calm, attentive and efficient.

Jose Sanchez: Cloakroom is a solid cocktail bar. I went there with the wife and 2 other people a while ago. They don't provide a menu, instead the server asks a few questions to provide a drink within your flavour profile. I found this to be risky as it creates some expectations, but was open to be proven wrong. Drinks were actually good but not extraordinary. We tried each other drinks and I found my wife's to be really good. Problem is I asked for my second drink to be exactly what they made her and I did not get the exact same. The drink was a different colour. Similar but not quite the same. That's the reason for my 4 star review. I think I could give this bar another go at some point. But it would be hard to do with other bars in Montreal like Le Mal Nécessaire.
Kayla Seider: and the drinks were truly the best I've ever had. There is no menu so the bartenders make your drinks after talking with you a bit and learning about you and every drink we had was absolutely spot on. We loved this bar so much, we came back after dinner and stayed until close. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be coming back next time we're in Montreal.

Still a great place tho but some of the staff should be caring more about customers.. one common thing to do is to welcome people when they come into your bar.. not making them wait and get a table while you "finish" your gossipping with your colleages. I went and grab a table by myself after waiting. Anyways, i had a pretty nice night overthere, dj was good, vybe was nice and the two working barman and barmaids were compensating for their colleague lack of care. I remove 1 star because it would have been a 5 withiout the staff experience.
