David: .It's a great spot for the value. I wouldn't recommend families staying here, but if you're travelling solo, with a partner, or with friends this is a good place to stay for the weekend.
JE JE: Visiting for a week, we had a very pleasant stay. The staff is welcoming, correct and polite. The manager was very understanding and cooperative. The reception hall is warm with its free hot drinks dispenser.Small downside: we would have liked a more varied breakfast.Rooms: Spacious, quiet. Park slope on the squirrels. Cleaned daily.Nearby activities: Close to all amenities.

We ate at another location.Rooms: The rooms were large and comfortable.Nearby activities: We went to Montreal En Lumière, very close to the hotel which is also surrounded by restaurants and places to visit.Safety: We felt very safe at the hotel, the entrance door was locked at night, 24-hour concierge.Walkability: Very easy to walk around, metro stations very close. We left the car parked for a long time.Noteworthy details: Each floor has an ice machine, which made it much easier for us to always have our drinks cold and to be able to take some ice on our trips.

Sue Trad: We stayed here in April. Big room. Nice views and comfortable king bed. They cleaned the room every day. Sauna and heated pool. I guess the season hasn’t started so the river in the garden was not running. My only complaint is the shower it was difficult to figure out. You have to press a button and at the same time twist the knob to have the water started and I couldn’t figure out how to operate the hand held shower. the sink knob is twisted the opposite way. Every time I was trying to close the tap it would open even further. It must be a Quebec thing. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.Walkability: Restaurants and shops

Rob L: Had a good experience overall. Now that we have checked out, they continue to send updated room reports adding charges for food that we never had. We drank 1 can of wine and 1 bottle of Pellegrino carbonated water. No food!Guests, I suggest you take before and after pictures to protect them from taking advantage of you.Update: I called the front desk and they refunded the Pringles charge. 👍

Lori Forman: My boyfriend and I wemt for our birthdays toontreal amd stayed jn a Petit Suite with a double Jacuzzi tib. I could have lived on that tub. Any time i came back from walking out side at the end of the day, I enjoyed a nice long soak and some bubbles from the jets. Annie amd Jacqui were an amazing concierge team. Annie had little birthday welcome treats and notes for each of us is, and both of whom helped with restaurant suggestions, activities, etc. The attentive and kind service by all from front desk to valet was incredible. We hope to stay again in the future, and were grateful to take advantage of their 3rd night free promotion

Felt like I was back at the Ritz Carlton. I have no idea what they are paid but they deserve a raise.This hotel is a great location and the decor is perfect

Wenn Sie keine Badewanne und keinen Swimmingpool benötigen, aber einen stilvollen und gemütlichen Ort lieben, ist dies der richtige Ort!

Ich dachte, ich hätte meine neue Sonnenbrille mit Sehstärke zurückgelassen, und sie antworteten sofort auf meine Nachricht und suchten danach. Catherine Miles: It's the excellent, down-to-earth attention and care that one receives that makes the hotel so special. Yes it's spotless; yes it's comfortable and chic and everything smells good, and even my belongings still smelled ever so slightly like the hotel when I got home; yes it's wonderfully located and Marcus is delicious and, well, it's the Four Seasons, but it stands out because of the warm and personal welcome from each and every employee. And they all seem really happy to be there. There is no superficiality one might expect from a five-star hotel. I felt like I was coming home every time I went back to my room.

And it only got better as the time went on. From Irene at the front desk to Guillaume in the Palm Court bar/restaurant, everyone was exemplary at their job and went above and beyond.As grand as this over-a-century-old building is, the rooms are fresh, contemporary and state-of-the-art. They feel individual and personal, with none of the cookie-cutter quality that even top luxury chains are falling prey to these days.I can’t recommend this hotel enough — it is truly one of the most special places we have stayed.Safety: Security is excellent. You need a hotel key to access the elevator and the key only provides access to your floor.Food & drinks: Try the RC cocktail at the Palm Court! It’s next level

Linda Thompson: Stayed for a conference. Meeting rooms were as expected for a large hotel.The guest room layout consists of several towers and levels - requiring the use of escalators and various elevators. Some of the attendees were in different towers.The bar was great at night for connecting.The second floor where we had our cocktail party was super hot …. Too warm for mixing up a hundred people.The escalator was down for one day. Nice to have it fixed second day.Beds were comfortable and I loved the duvet.

Susan Bates: Spacious, pleasant room and lobby, very quiet hotel, and great breakfasts. The staff is friendly and attentive.Rooms: We had a corner room with lots of natural light.Walkability: On a quiet street and close to many good restaurants. We walked everywhere - Griffintown, The Plateau and even Mile End.Noteworthy details: As a converted office building it has many interesting architechtual details. Not your cookie cutter hotel design.
Hannah Morris: . Other than that minor detail, everything else was wonderful - our stay was so lovely. We loved our room - stylish yet retaining old character. Lots of attention to detail and everything was so clean. We appreciated the little touches - beautiful music playing on the TV/wifi when we walked in; chocolate treats laid out for us, and a lovely little note. The location was perfect for us - we wanted to be on foot and explore Old Montreal. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food. But the coffee was wonderful. And the staff - especially Estrella and Brithney - was wonderful. We really enjoyed talking to both of them and felt very taken care of. We very much hope to return to the hotel the next time we are going to be in Montreal.
Lily Greener: We had a wonderful experience at the Hotel Gault. It was easily walkable to many of the areas we wanted to visit in old Montreal. The staff was incredibly nice from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. This was our first international trip with our son, and we were a little nervous about how that would go, but they had a pack n play for him and the rooms were so spacious that we were able to comfortably set up a space for the crib in the bathroom so that he had a quiet space for naps. We would definitely stay here again!

Daniel Erler: Literally no WiFi reception in the room, otherwise in the hotel it is too slow for working. Breakfast and evening reception are too crowded, but having free drinks is a nice benefit. The rooms are quite big and the location is superb though.Edit after another visit in 2024: They finally fixed the WiFi and installed repeater. The elevator though can be heard even more than two rooms away, therefore only 4 out of 5 stars.
