Melanie Qin: This restaurant pushes the boundaries of creativity to the next level. The extra effort in each dish is carefully crafted with intention and elegance. It seems like so many ingredients when the plate is presented, but they all work harmoniously together to give an impactful flavor that feels familiar yet totally unfamiliar at the same time. With the menu changing seasonally, it's without a doubt super enticing for me to go back to discover a whole new set of works of art. Because that's what it was... masterpieces!

yx Sun: I had an incredible 3-hour experience with their 7-course tasting menu! My favorites were the beef steak, quail, and two desserts. The beef and quail were exceptionally tender, and the accompanying sauces were bursting with flavor. Both dishes had a divine aroma when they arrived. Even though I’m not usually a fan of sweet dishes, I thoroughly enjoyed their desserts. They struck a perfect balance, not overly sweet, and the sorbet with sponge cake combination was delightful.The meal began with a brown butter mousse amuse-bouche, followed by the sea urchin as the first course. While the brown butter mousse was delicious, the sea urchin lacked a bit of its distinctive flavor for my taste. Unfortunately, the complimentary bread was served cold and didn’t make much of an impression compared to the other outstanding dishes.The service was fantastic. They efficiently cleaned our table, and water and wine refills were prompt. However, I found the ambiance to be a bit noisy compared to Europea, where I had dined previously. Overall, it was a memorable night at this restaurant.

Kayla Seider: My husband and I traveled to Montreal for our honeymoon and had the pleasure of dining at Bouillon Bilk. We had an incredible dining experience! The service was fantastic. Our waiter was very helpful and had a great personality. We had a oysters, scallops and the duck. The food was truly some of the best we've ever had. I am still dreaming about my scallops. We highly recommend this restaurant and hope to be back someday!

The highlight of my meal was the foie gras dessert. Yeah, it sounds kind of wrong but tastes extremely right. Almost like a banana foster with duck liver instead of ton of butter. Wine list is impressive as well. They serve d'yquem for dessert if someone is willing to drop major bucks.

Tennessee Fats: After watching a YouTube review of this place I made it a “Must Go” stop on this trip. The place did NOT disappoint.It’s a smaller place and the tables are packed in there but that really helps set the atmosphere. It’s loud. For anyone that’s noise-a-phobic this one may trigger you but I found it great and could clearly hear the person I was with.The service was fast and they have no problem with English for the travellers in town that struggle with ordering in French.The food was great and you can watch it being prepared at the open counter.A very eclectic place to eat at and a must go for anyone serious about breakfast and brunch.

Otto Tai: It's not an Internet celebrity restaurant, but I still had to wait in line for 30 minutes. The food was delicious and the service was good. When I was serving the food, I adjusted the position of the plate and accidentally dropped the fork, but the waiter caught it with good skill and replaced it with a new fork. Audrey patiently introduced and recommended delicious dishes and delicious restaurants worth recommending.

Audrey Couture: Wow! Excellent food paired with various wines, each as good as the next. At first, we're not sure if we're going to go out and eat a Big Mac trio because of the portions, but no need! The flavors were a real delight in the mouth and a surprise with each new dish! Spring menu recommended! This was our first experience, we plan to try the menu every season. The only problem was that the music wasn't always representative of the place.Dietary restrictions: Listened to allergies, did not need to make a reminder and informed us of changes made as they happened

The restaurant was full and they were introducing their spring menu.We liked the more casual atmosphere than some other large restaurants of the same type, with a more relaxed dress code.The table service is impeccable and attentive.The cuisine is sophisticated and the presentation careful. The flavors were so pleasant in the mouth.But in this same price range, we did not have the evening experience that we found in other great restaurants.The least favorite part of the evening was the wine pairing. They feature private imports taken from small batches of little-known grape varieties. But for $125, no one at the table fell in love or wanted more. It is not for nothing that certain great wines are well recognized around the world, it is because they are very popular. Perhaps an alternation between small producers and reliable values would help the experience.The amount of food was adequate, if you are not a big eater. For the quantity of alcohol in the glasses, I used my breathalyzer 20 minutes after my departure and I was at 0.00!One last downside, the pace of the services is dictated for the entire room and it is not possible to slow down if your appetite requires it.In short, one more x on my list of great restaurants to discover but I won't go back.

Squirrel Friend: What an amazing restaurant. Tasting menu has a lot of quality and seasonal ingredients. The highlights of the meal for me were the crab and carrot dish as well as the mushroom oat porridge. I visited Montreal during the snow crab season, so the crab was out of this world. The porridge was savory and hearty. Service was attentive and friendly. The waitresses were so nice and sweet. One of the waitresses was also in charge of making cocktails, and the drink that I got was delicious. The restaurant is in the back of an old church and has a very unique vibe.

Derrek Nador: Update April 2024, as good as ever! Wine list, service and food were 5 stars. If you want to splurge on a special occasion this is a top spot in Montreal to do so! Superb service and food. The food speaks for itself. Fresh ingredients, delishious dishes with great flavors. The service is some of the friendliest, most bilingual ive had recently. Could be a little over bearing if you dont want someone checking in on you very often, but for me it added to the night. Duck appetizer, the duck main and the roasted quail.
Marky Marc: Beef tartare was way too salty, couldn't taste anything else. Bacon wrapped rabbit was delicious. Shucked snow crab special was great, so much easier to eat. Brussel sprouts had a nice sauce. Hibiscus ice cream sandwich was perfect, though not sure why it was wrapped up like a soap bar. Great music selection. Excellent service. House martini was like a Lemon Drop, definitely enjoyable. The recommended Cabernet red was a great accompaniment.

Interestingly, we ordered 12 oysters but were served 13. The server William explained that they traditionally serve a "bakers dozen", 13 oysters. The staff is super friendly and professional, and the owners are charming. Strongly recommend, overall a great value.

Organic World Club: Top-notch French restaurant in the heart of Montreal! If you’re looking for a special experience, Europea consistently delights with some of the best food and wine in the world. The best ingredients available turned into art for the eyes and taste buds combined with great service is what drives me to come back.Some of the menu highlights included fresh mint tea, onion soup served in an onion, lobster cappuccino, and more paired with phenomenal wines; also, eye watering variety of deserts — my personal choice for best desert was the maple cotton candy.The highlight of the wine pairing was a mistery wine served in black glass. It was of course outstanding in flavor but also unique in appearance.
Vlora Ahmeti: First of all, let me start with saying this is a dining experience. The presentation is very artistic and the flavors are delicate and to be savored. It's not the type of place to go if your interested is a warm, superfilling comfort meal. Atmosphere is beautifully decorated and has nice lighting. Service was excellent, special shout out to Valentino for humoring us. Would definitely recommend for the experience if you're in Montreal for a few days.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. Hard pressed to get children to eat these things.

David M: We would give 6 stars out of 5 if possible. The food was unbelievable - every dish we had was beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. Highlights included the ceviche, anticucho de pieuvre, the anticucho de canard, and the papa rellena. The ambience was outstanding and the service was fantastic. Reserve ahead to be sure to get a table because you won't want to miss this culinary experience.
