Ann Mary Butts: I requested a quote from Majestic floors. The price was alittle more than another company but felt comfortable with the interaction and knowledge John had. I hired them to sand my livingroom/diningroom and my staircase to upstairs and refinish for a natural look. John and his son Alex arrived on time and went to work sanding beached and very heavy coats of old shellac. Sanding, sealing and 2 top coats took 4 days. The livingroom came out beautiful, but the staircase not as nice because the quality of the wood that was used when the house was built was not the best. Even freshing finished, they lacked luster.John and Alex returned after I expressed that perhaps a third coat with a gloss finish would help. They returned and applied a third coat without question. Its nice to know that you are dealing with a company that cares about your satisfaction. They protect your space and clean up after.
