I went in without any knowledge about jewellery design and came out with two silver rings that look like they were made by a pro!The Visual Arts Centre has also put in place many COVID safety procedures such as plexi glass between stations, PPE and cleaning. I felt very safe during my time in the studio. Will be back for more courses very soon.

They know how to advise and give you impeccable service.A fantastic school that makes your aspirations come true.
Claude Bouchard: I had painted in oil on my own for years, learning by trial and error, but when I decided to try my hand at watercolour, I felt some direction would be beneficial and I signed up for my first class at the Visual Art Centre. Was I pleased with my decision? So much so that I ended up taking additional classes for a half dozen years and was never disappointed. Not only were my teachers talented artists themselves, they also had the ability of transferring their knowledge and techniques to their students. A wonderful atmosphere to develop creatively with other talented peers while having fun. Highly recommended.

Jason Dempsey: I see a lot of bad reviews for this place but I get great service any time I go, and I've been using them for quite a while.They don't exactly greet you when you walk in but the job gets done.One time I was in a rush to get memorial invitations done and the guy even stayed an hour late to help me!
NSH: This is one of the only places that takes passport photos for French passports as they have different criteria.The store is hard to find because of all the construction but also, it says it’s in the Eaton Center which apparently now includes what used to be Ailes de la Mode.It took me calling the store, and to be honest, I called them 3 times because each time I hung up to fast before really fully understanding where they where.Very grateful to the gentleman for indulging me each time on the phone. The last time he even stood outside his store waving at me. Lol. Now I understand some of the reviews, maybe the style of communication is a little dry, but honestly he was fast and efficient and process was seamless.For directions, it’s actually all the way close to the bay. Go as far east as you can until you hit the bay and it’s just before. Metro level.

I really like the customer service here, and if you’re scared that your photo would not turn out great, they will do it again for you so there’s little risk!
