Justine Soucy: a new discovery and now one of my favourites museums in montreal! I can't believe it took me this long to visit. Everything is so fun to look at and read and learn, the views at the top are also very nice with comfortable couches to just sit relax and enjoy. I loved reading about the history of the building as well as walking through the small garden area. What's also nice about this place is that there isn't many people so you can enjoy at a leisure pace and peacefully. This is an instant add to my list of recommendations for people visiting the city.

François Nadeau: Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere, small square of greenery very close to the city centerPlayground: No play equipment, but you can bring a Frisbee to play there, among other things...Restrooms: Non-existent at this location. You have to buy something at one of the restaurants around the park to let you use their bathrooms.Dog-friendliness: YesPicnic area: Spread your tablecloth on the lawn and enjoy your meal!

cloux charlotte: The square is really charming and pleasant. You will surely come across squirrels and the architecture of the houses is truly magnificent and worth seeing if you pass through Montreal!

James D: Peaceful and shady place to stop. Lots of people there eating lunch and enjoying the sunshine. Many benches but no toilet

Britta P.: This is such a lovely spot. The architecture is amazing - you can tour the park and take pictures of the most photogenic homes. In the summer, the fountain provides an oasis in the heat, as does the kiosk selling beverages. A great spot to sit and take in the city and people passing by.

Local Montreal Food Tours - Mile-End & Old Montreal Food Tours: what do users think?

Joan Stephenson-Bowes: Excellent, informative and delicious food! It was great!

Vince Cordova: Great way to spend a 3 hours in cool part of Montréal. Great stops for food especially the poutine

Jess Gee: was amazing, pointed out some fantastic local spots, had some great stories. 3 hours flew by!!

Nicola A. Parisi: of unique Montreal cuisine, & fun. We had a bite at each of the following:Crew Cafe - The unique Montreal bagel w/ cream cheese & smoked salmon, capers, dill. Very good. Situated in the former Royal Bank Tower.Le Beau Marche - Excellent meat & cheese charcuterie.La Cantina - Tacos w/ mushrooms

Susan Bandy: Had a great time on the food tour with Ronny! What a great way to learn about Montreal and taste some wonderful food in the process! Thanks, Ronny!

Karen Francis: The best tour to see and taste the highlights of Old Montreal. Our tour guide was very knowable and answered all the queations asked.

Aya Miyahara: . 10/10

ronald schliftman: Great food tour led by fran. Highlights were a terrific bagel with lox and a Montreal traditional food poutine. Fran was excellent in providing out group with both information about the food as well as some history about our surrounding. Great easy to spend a few hours in old Montreal.

Ryan O'Hara Theisen: The tour was fantastic. Fran, our guide, is very personable and knowledgeable. She shared engaging historical facts and answered all our questions. The food was delicious and tied in to the stories she shared. She also remembered everyone’s name and she was genuine. Very obvious she knows this city so well and is passionate to share all its gems and great eats.

Leslie Woo: Louis was an excellent tour guide. Knowledge beyond just food his insights into the neighborhood were very interesting and all the stops were excellent. Highly recommend this tour.

Ann Michelson: Great experience learning about Montreal and discovering the fun foods in Miles End with Fran.

Douglas Sullivan: The dishes were delicious, my favorite was the beer and desert pairing. Our guide Laura was very insightful about the history of Montreal and the best local food. I have done many food tours and would highly recommend.

Samantha Talbott: Full bellies and more knowledgeable about beautiful Old Montreal. Darren was an amazing tour guide and provided a lot of history throughout the tour. Was a larger group than I prefer with 16 of us which certainly made his job more difficult but Darren was a pro and herded us with grace. Could have used more water offerings at the stops but food was amazing. Highly recommend!

Kim Manuel-Buckles: David was a phenomenal host. He was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained with his sense of humor. The food was delicious and just the right portions. I loved everything about the tour.

Sarah Ann Massett: Fran gave a great tour, highlighting Montreals history along with their culinary specialties!

Diane Theberge: We toured with Ronny! He was personable, knowledgeable and accommodating as we had some in our group with food allergies and sensitivities. The restaurants we visited were a great variation and the tastings were a perfect size. Highly recommend this Tour and ask for Ronny!

Antonella Gionni: was exceptional ! Gave us so much info about our great city ! It was raining and I wish there were some alternatives mapped out since our group was large and did not fit everywhere we went

Kaycee Freyer: We came as a group - 6 adults and 2 young teens. Everyone had a great time and loved the historical aspect of the tour. Laura was a great guide and was very knowledgeable about the area and all of the foods. The only recommendation that we all agreed on was that the tour needed a bit more variety - every stop was very carb-heavy and filling. We thought it could be improved by substituting more local produce and specialty meats or other small bites for some of the bread/pasta. Overall, though, we had a great time and will definitely do another tour when we come back! Thank you!

We went with another family so had 2 x 8 year olds and a 5 year old and we spent lots of time here. They had a special exhibit going on as well which made it even more fun. Personally the crystal collection blew me away. Wow. Worth it!!

Glenda Wachtel: The Parkinson photo and fashion exhibit was outstanding! What an artist!Indigenous exhibit was very well done! Informative, hard hittingly honest but hopeful too.MC Snow exhibit dovetailed perfectly with the Voices of Today. All that and a good lunch at Cafe Notkin. Always love coming to the McCord!

Marie-Josée Parent: Excellent guided tour. The final day of the James D. Duncan Exhibition. An English-speaking guide offered us a very pleasant visit, with lots of finesse in the details and a lot of esteem and appreciation for the works. A fine connoisseur!Thank you and congratulations for these always very rich, nourishing and satisfying exhibitions.
